I purchased a Groupon for fat reduction & skin tightening on my arms. The staff was friendly, the facility was nice & very clean. I upgraded my Groupon to a package. This was my first visit. All of the staff are very pleasant and made me feel welcomed the minute I walked through the door. The specialist that worked with me was super nice and very informative. She left none of my questions unanswered and was patient through all of them. Again, that was my first visit and after my treatment, I lost 1/2 inch under my bell button! Impressive. I've only had one appointment so far at Ju Wellness after purchasing a Groupon for their Butt Lift Thermalift Skin-Tightening for myself after losing 120 pounds and wanting to find a non-surgical way to improve the appearance of leftover sagging skin from the previous weight. In terms of the atmosphere, when I walked in, it was an open area where you can see many people on different machines. The reception was very friendly and personable and offered water and 2 types of hot tea, of which I accepted the ginger hot tea. When filling out paperwork they did ask about all areas interested in working on, so I know there would be an "upsell" aspect but that is basically the whole point of Groupon's to bring in business and spread work about a company so I did not mind. I bought a 4-session Groupon which for the price and type, you only get certain laser functions but the first visit they give you the "upgraded" version which is a double in length session. The technician was again personable and made me feel very comfortable. We talked about many different topics and the best part was that the procedure itself had no pain and was like getting a massage! I feel as if I can already see the difference after one session, as in a smoother appearance in my butt. It was right in time for my first time ever wearing a "sexy" costume for Halloween, which I also appreciate! If you go to any plastic surgeon and expect to become thin if you walk into their office obese, they will refuse doing surgery on you because it's unrealistic. Also, if you get repeated sessions for fat reduction or skin tightening and you start eating fatty foods all the time, you will gain weight. Very warm, friendly, and professional staff. I was warmly greeted immediately when I walked into the office. I purchased the (3) Non-Invasive Arm Fat-Reduction treatments. Check-in was a seamless process. A profile photo was taken and paper work takes about 10 minutes to complete. I was offered water or tea to drink. I was impressed by the office policy of taking vitals (height, weight, and blood pressure-This is not common practice in most offices). After completing my paper work, I was taken into the consultation room to review my package and the option of purchasing a package extension. Photos are available to review results of clients before and after pics. There was no pressure to purchase an upgraded package. My technician, Mariah, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions. During the procedure I was so relaxed that I almost fell asleep. The procedure was painless. Gel was applied to the area of treatment for use with the ultrasonic device; followed by a short wand type device (for skin tightening). Mariah demonstrated post-op instructions and provided them in writing also. Prior to measurements, a before picture of the treatment area was take (only if consented). Before and After measurements were take, I had a total arm reduction of a little more than a 1/4 inch. I can see and feel the difference. I am writing my honest review after my complete experience as promised. I started with a Groupon that I received this past Christmas for a laser on my butt and thighs. I came in for my first of four treatments and was presented with my package price should I decide to continue with more treatments. After researching the laser procedure and speaking with staff, I decided to go ahead with the 17 treatment package. I am 5'6", 130#, athletic, and workout 4-5 days a week. I am slim build but have cellulite on the back of my thighs and a problem with my saddlebags that won't go away no matter how many squats, lunges, or diets I do. Besides surgery, this was my last option. I came once or twice a week for the next several months, never missing an appointment. I continued working out as usual. Fahya and Emily were so great to work with. They had great ideas and tried different machines and techniques. But long story short, after a total of 21 treatments and a couple thousand dollars later, there was very little if any difference at all. I was very upset because I had seen impressive before and after photos. I heard great success stories about women with similar body types as me, some even larger with worse cellulite. I had done everything I was supposed to do and spent a lot of money for no results. Fahya was disappointed too. She contacted the company they purchased the machine from to ask what else could be done. They did not have an answer for her except they "don't know why it didn't work for me." Maybe I was one of the small percentage of unsuccessful people? I still don't know. But I promised to explain my full review when I was completely done so everyone could draw their own conclusions.
