Aspen dental has put me in a horrible situation with my finances and my self-esteem. They told me…read morethat I needed a front tooth pulled as a crown was not appropriate. I expressly told them I did not want to leave the office without a front tooth and was horrified by that idea. They assured me that they could provide me with a partial that they could put in the same day so that I wouldn't have to walk around without a FRONT tooth, while I had fillings done and explored permanent options to replace the tooth. I underwent the procedure and although they did have a partial for me that day, it was ill fitting, not shaped like my other teeth, the pallet was so thick and long it kept triggering my gag reflex so much so that I could not tolerate it. I called about having the pallet thinned or adjusted and they were completely apathetic. I was told that I just had to get" used to it." I CAN NOT get used to it. I paid $500 for the partial and I CAN NOT use it. I asked about having a bridge put in and was told that they would not work on me again until I had a $3000 deep cleaning done. I paid my portion of the $3000 only to be told that insurance denied their portion. After some back and forth, I found out that insurance didn't deny it, they had the wrong insurance information as my work switched carriers since my first visit. There is a BIG difference between being denied and being told that there is no coverage. Having to go back and forth with them several times to figure this out wasted valuable time. The whole time I'm wondering why it wasn't submitted to insurance before the procedure so that we would know if it was covered in the first place. This would have immediately signaled that I needed to update my insurance information. I asked for a call back after the claim was resubmitted and reviewed. After two weeks not hearing anything, I called and chose the option to speak with someone about my bill instead of the option to speak with someone in the Eastgate office. This took me to someone outside of the Eastgate office. I explained my situation and asked if they had heard from my insurance company yet. She put me on hold and when she returned, she informed me that she had JUST resubmitted my claim. The office manager of the Eastgate office never resubmitted it!!! I'm walking around with no front tooth and they had not even resubmitted the claim, but they sure as hell sent me bills in the mail, and text messages stating that my bill was due!!!! In the meantime, they won't schedule my fillings or my bridge until the bill is settled. I asked her what the next steps were and she said I should call back in about two weeks to see if there had been any update to my claim. I'm beyond mad and feel beyond exploited. After reading other reviews on here I now wonder if I even needed the deep cleaning or if they were just trying to rack up the charges. So now I have a partial that doesn't fit and I can't wear, a missing front tooth, a bill of over a $1000 still pending, and a dentist that will not do any other work until I pay. Honestly, I don't trust them with the insurance claim. I'm worried they will not backdate the submission to when I had the work done before the first of the year and it will come out of the benefits that renewed in January. If that happens, I will have considerably less if any coverage at all to try to get a bridge done somewhere else.

Was a patient since 2021, four years of dental services. In those four years, I felt extorted. I…read morewould go for an annual check up and no matter the circumstances they were upselling a deep clean that insurance would not cover. It is what it is! The last straw was an extraction I had done October of 2025. It was an extraction of a poorly executed crown done a year and a half prior. The crown broke off and the nub needed extraction. During the extraction of said nub, the tooth next to it was broken. Mind you my mouth was numb, so I couldn't feel accurately with my tongue. I should have know something was going on when both the dentist and dental assistant with great haste, discharged me almost immediately. The front desk said that I owed nothing that insurance had overpaid from the last procedure, which mind you was over six months prior. A day later I contacted the office about the mishap with the broken tooth. Denial, diversion, and dishonesty was my treatment plan! This office has gone way down hill in a few years time. KEEP DRIVING PAST, DO NOT STOP HERE!

Please pay attention to the reviews ( which I didn't, much to my dismay). My husband decided to…read morejoin me at the new dentist location that I recently went to myself. He went in for his first visit for a routine cleaning and came out with a receipt for $1,150.00 plus.....and yes we have dental insurance. My husband is 86 years old, very few cavities, brushes his teeth like no other and he was told he had bacteria in 13 places that needed treated. Mind you he has gone for regular dental cleanings most of his adult life every six months. I'm flabbergasted as to how he hasn't had issues with all the so called bacteria he supposedly had. Needless to say we will not be going back!! So the moral to my post....beware of them pushing procedures. PS.....I have made three calls trying to discuss this with a manager and still have not received a call three days later.

PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND READ MINE AND THE OTHERS REVIEWS. Very similar. If I could've don't…read morethat before I went there I would have and would have SAVED my teeth. At All Smiles Dental, I was initially told I needed four crowns. However, on the day of my appointment, they informed me that only two temporary crowns would be placed. They began numbing the side they planned to work on with a numbing gel, but when the dentist arrived, she started giving me a numbing shot on the opposite side, which hadn't been numbed yet. I raised my hand and told her that side wasn't numb before she injected me, and one of the hygienists mentioned that only two crowns were supposed to be done. The dentist responded that all four crowns were going to be done. So, they numbed the other side. After some time, the dentist returned and began working on my bottom tooth. She completed that tooth and moved to the top tooth above it. During this, I had difficulty breathing due to nasal problems and they kept spraying water in my mouth while working on my teeth. The dentist paused and mentioned the bottom teeth were easier to work on or something to that effect. She left the bottom tooth half-done and moved on to the other side. When she started drilling, I immediately raised my hand because of intense pain. She gave me more anesthetic but immediately resumed working on the tooth, without giving the numbing time to take effect. I raised my hand again, still in pain, and she gave me more anesthetic. At this point, I was crying--not just from the pain, but also from the discomfort of the shots. She was visibly frustrated and huffed, saying, "I already gave you X amount of anesthetics." Eventually, she stopped working on that tooth and began working on the upper one instead. I was struggling to breathe and crying uncontrollably, so I told them I was done. The dentist stopped, and the hygienist began preparing my temporary crown for the first tooth that was fully worked on. One of the hygienists was very sympathetic and kindly told me, "Next time, don't let them do all four teeth at once." I left the office with three untreated teeth, one temporary crown, and a temporary filling. I scheduled a follow-up appointment for two weeks later. However, once I got to my car, the front desk called and said there had been a mistake--they couldn't fit me in for the next appointment, as they thought I was getting permanent crowns, not more temporary ones. The new appointment was set for January 29th, a full 44 days after my first visit, leaving me with bare teeth. Not willing to go 44 days without coverage, I scheduled an appointment with my previous dentist to complete the temporary crowns on January 7th, even though they don't accept my insurance. I had to pay $300 out-of-pocket. A week later, I called All Smiles Dental to ask if there were any sooner appointments available, but they said the dentist recommended I go back to my previous dentist. I explained that this wasn't an option because I couldn't afford to pay $5,000 out of pocket. They promised to speak with the dentist and get back to me. After hearing nothing, I followed up later that day, only to find that the dentist had left for the day. I called every day after that, but no one answered. On Friday, January 17th, I called again, and once again, I was told the dentist had left for the day and that I would get a call back by the end of Monday.
