Seriously... just RUN from this place!!. I saw a few negative reviews online and with BBB but decided to give the benefit of the doubt. I should have listened to my gut. At my first visit ($49) I mainly needed to know if I could afford the program (they start out at $2-3k but will "modify"). We agreed on a price and I told Kimberly the ONLY way I could do the program was if I could use insurance or my FSA card. She told me I could do Care Credit & use my FSA card, no problem. Well that wasn't the case and now they've left me to figure out how to pay it as a single mom with a child in college and I just took on a house payment. They could care less. Second visit I drove almost an hour and Kimberly was a no show with no notice. Dee saw me along with another woman. They couldn't find any information on what plan I was even on and asked me... I didn't know for sure either. They told me I only lost 3 pounds. I later got a text saying "actually you lost 6"... I asked Dee how the mix up occurred & she never answered but just ignored me. I had to wait over an hour and missed a family birthday but stayed so I didn't void my part of the contract and I had been working so hard that week. Another gentleman had an appointment the same day and finally got fed up and left. He said they are always like this and super unprofessional. Right before my 3rd visit I ended up in the ER with severe abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting. I passed out in triage and was admitted. It was suggested I needed gallbladder removal. I had low vitamins and blood work was off... the doctor said the sudden diet and loss of fat could have triggered the problem. I sent a doctors note and notice immediately because I could not make it to MWL. I asked for help when this occurred snd my Care Credit would not take my FSA as they promised me. I was then sent a refund request, which I met all of the criteria for. Alison said she would process a refund one week then denied saying it. She then offered about $300 in refund to care credit (I would owe about $700 something) but I literally only had a $49 consult (which was already paid for) and a missed appointment with Kimberly!!! That was ALL!! So how is that worth that amount??? The supplements are horribly overpriced and they deduct huge amounts from your account for these to avoid refunding as much Overall, yes you may lose weight because the calories are so drastically low but this is one of the most dishonest shady practices I have ever been to. I wish I had never stepped through their door and I hope this saves someone the hell I have been through with them as well. My only choice they will allow now is pay $1000 for nothing gained, use up my entire FSA for the year instead of having 18 months to pay as promised initially... or go back in their office and continue the program with gallbladder trouble. I do not know how these women sleep at night other than with a pillow stuffed with other people's hard earned dollars that aren't rightfully theirs. First of all, their positive reviews on Google are incentivized. They give you free fat contouring sessions if you give them a 5 star review. We signed up with MWL and a short time later my husband's job was at risk. When we found out he was being fired, we put in for a refund request from the owner, Hannah Erickson, for the remaining credit on our account ($3000) so we could pay our mortgage (that was in October 2021). Kim Nelson, who is the MWL advisor at the Gainesville location, told me several times that Hannah (the owner), or Allison (the manager), would contact me. Weeks, even months went by and I never heard from either of them. During this time, I kept in touch with Kim and she made excuse after excuse for Hannah. 'She doesn't do refunds at the end of the year' or 'It's Christmas' or 'The office is moving and she's very busy' Then, today, Allison called me to tell me that my refund request had been denied because we signed a contract and the contract doesn't allow for refunds due to 'job changes.' Hannah Erickson has $3000 of my money. We are not talking about a few pennies. This is exactly the reason why people are scared to death of places like this, a contract is required and they bank on the fact that people will, for whatever reason, drop out of the program and they get to keep thousands of others' money. I know we signed a contract and to refund us would be outside the contract, but we, obviously had no way of knowing this would happen. How someone can be so heartless is beyond me. I have to say I'm not one that normally would be into this type of thing. But after trying it out, I can honestly say, it is well worth it! Took a bit to get used to writing down each meal every single day. Then it comes second nature. My cravings started to diminish. The sweet tooth didn't seem so sweet anymore. I lost 20 lbs in less than 2 months and have gone down 2 pants sizes! Not at my goal yet, but I'm still working at it. Honestly don't think I'd be this far if it weren't for Maureen and Angela. They are so positive and uplifting, even if I have a slip in following the program (which has happened a couple times and I'm still doing well). I receive compliments left and right about how good I look or people asking me what I'm doing. Now that my best friend has come aboard, we can help each other stay on task to meet our goals! Didn't think I'd ever get back down to college size! Thank you so much Maureen and Angela!! This is second time I have submitted this...seems first time did not work..company needs to modify so each clinic can have its its own reporting site. This is my previous post; I have almost lost 20 lbs in a month.. I also got married the 29th August and went on honeymoon for a week where I took my drinks per day with power added but ate regular food. Still lost 0.2 lbs. lol Maureen is the best !!! She checks with me daily to see how I'm doing. Maureen is a big part of my motivation to lose weight and achieve my goal. I've dropped several pants and shirt sizes in last month. I have lost 13.3 lbs in one month..Yea..It's been years since I was at this weight. Maureen has been the best and helped a lot in getting me down in weight to fit in my wedding dress..Yes I got married and went on honey moon during the month Maureen has helped but ate regular food.. especially grouper. Lol and I still loss.. Now I am getting close to the weight I desire and improving my health too..Maureen takes time to explain the things and what I need to eat to continue losing.
