Your son (i believe but i may be wrong) was also incredibly rude on the phone when genuine issues were expressed.. and there was complete disregard from you in your diagnosis which were completely off the wall and wrong by any medical standard sadly... which resulted in my friend going to the hospital based on false data presented by you... I apologize if this review is damaging but when it comes to people's health i don't think you can be playing around and diagnosing people with serious illness based on information you clearly don't understand or have education in... its just plain dangerous. read more

I've been here twice and have e-mailed numerous times related to symptoms... I've been waiting to make this post, because I wanted to get my test results back and to see if the Paleo diet worked for me and prove to show results... Well the answer for both is yes, and that's why I'm giving a 5 star rating, along with a few disclaimers... If you have been going to traditional medicine doctors and can get any answers for your symptoms then this is the best place for you based on my experience!!! I will say this 1: Have your funds available and get ALL the testing that she recommends... 2: DO NOT buy any products until you receive the test results back!!! 3: If a diet is recommended, please try it for at least 30 days.... My 1st visit was overwhelming, so I did get the comprehensive stool test (in which I'm grateful for), but I also bought three shake supplements/powders (which I should have waited on) (see pic). When I received my comprehensive results (that gave me many answers and one I still search for the root cause of) then I had to get herbal meds to treat what that test showed. 2 of the shake supplements I have yet to use, except once! I have started to use the Paleo protein when I make myself the Dr. Oz smoothie (it taste like banana pudding). But make sure that you are aware that Paleo protein comes in 3 flavors... Vanilla, chocolate, and berry! I do plan to have more testing as soon as I have the funds to do so! I did follow-up with my GP to show him my test results and he disclosed some information to me about the medical field and practice that was disheartening.... Alane really cares about your health. Before I visited this place, I had never seen a ND or Function Medicine doctor. But I had a friend whom she helped for a couple times. My friend told me if her regular doctor can't help her, she always goes to Alane and she always find out what's wrong and fix her problem. I had been suffering from really bad case of GI problem for 5 years. I had been to so many different specialists to try to find out what was causing it. But the problem was slowly getting worse over 5 years. Last summer I went to see yet another new GI doctor crying. I felt he genuinely cared about me but he too couldn't help me. I went to see Alane in December and she found out I had infections at the end of December. She referred me to a MD she trust with the results she found out. The MD gave me the two different kinds of antibiotics. After the second type, I longer need any GI medicine and I still have normal BM. Hi everyone, I wanted to share my experience with Alane Palmer with you all. I was under her care for about 6 months. It all started when I went into her office with a health issue, I was helpless and clueless to what was causing me daily pain. I am 21 years old, and Alane was able to find the cause to be Lyme disease, she gave me a correct diagnoses and I am grateful for that. That is the only reason I gave her 2 stars, otherwise I would give 1 star. Here is why I am not satisfied and feel as though visiting Nutritionally Yours was a waste of time after the diagnosis: The upselling was a common occurrence. The entire business is set-up to maximize how much money they can bring in. Nutritionally Yours has a stack of holistic medicine and products behind the front desk, this stack is so big its shocking. I do not believe she keeps products for the convenience of the patients but she has a stack of supplies waiting to be sold for profit. She charges professional prices for her non-professional hypobaric chamber. This is another huge moneymaker in her business. With all money and business practices aside I did not look forward to going in for my appointments. Five or six appointments in I was tired of hearing the same thing. She speaks properly and SOUNDS like a Lyme expert but again and again she would compare my Lyme treatment with her son's Lyme treatment like we have the same strain of Lyme. Many times my family and I reminded her that we can not afford every remedy available and we need to be specific on what treatment is best for my situation but the upselling never slowed down. Every interaction with Alane seemed unauthentic, I am sure she wants to help everyone that walks into her office but not before she can help herself first. This review is full of complaints, but I stand correct; after switching to a new Lyme doctor I realized Alane is mediocre in her knowledge and methods of treatments. I did not have the best experience here. In a nutshell I believe they are extremely overpriced and not trustworthy. Read on if you'd like more details. My husband and I are really into health and have done a fair amount of research over the years. We tried several things and I have not been satisfied with the results. This is why I sought out a holistic doctor to get to the root cause of the issue. The initial consultation was over $300 for my husband and I. The consultation was extremely disappointing as Alane Palmer only recommended common sense information that can be easily assessed over the internet. (Check out Dr. Mercola). One of the things that was recommended actually made my condition worse. The blood work recommended was close to $300. After getting that completed, my husband and I began contemplating continuing with Alane. I sent several emails voicing my concerns and trying to make sure we were all on the same page. But only received one word/sentence answers in return. I also sent several emails requesting my blood work and they were blatantly ignored. She would address other things in the email and ignore my request for a copy of my results. I went there over a month ago and have yet to receive the blood work. After contacting her via FB she basically said I have to schedule another appointment (an additional $250) in order to get the results. I honestly don't know where to begin but I want to share my story in the event that it might help someone else. I am a registered nurse and healthcare consultant. My husband is a physician and my father and grandfather were both physicians. I have been around "traditional medicine" all my life. I respect it and have seen it work miracles. With that said, I have also seen the gaps in traditional medicine. I absolutely believe that many diseases come from a lack of balance in our own bodies. Most traditional physicians are taught to diagnose a condition and treat it with a medication and/or surgery. They don't know how to look at how one thing out of balance may cause something else to be out of balance. So, I was going to my doctors like a good patient. I was taking the medicines they prescribed and I was feeling worse than ever. I've been feeling sick for the last 3- 4 years and I was getting worse. Then I set out to find a nutiritionist who would work with me and my doctor in a whole person/whole body fashion. That's what led me to Alane at Nutitionally Yours. She listened to my story. We did some lab work and devised a plan. She put me on supplements, took me off dairy, gluten and corn and my life has changed so dramatically that it's hard for me to even describe. I've lost 17 pounds. I sleep peacefully through the night - every night. I can concentrate throughout the day and have given up all caffeine. Oh and I no longer crave sweets from moring until night. I am energetic and happy! The pain has decreased signficantly and I now exercise 45 minutes/day - 6 days/week. Now "my team" consists of a couple of good doctors and Alane at Nutritionally Yours.
