Two weeks ago, I visited your clinic after seeing a commercial on social media. During my initial appointment, I met with Dr. Luke, who was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. He took the time to explain everything clearly and helped me feel confident in the care I was going to receive. Based on that positive experience, I scheduled a follow-up appointment, expecting to see Dr. Luke again. However, when I arrived for my second visit, I was surprised to find that Dr. Luke was not there. What made this more frustrating was that no one informed me in advance of his absence. A simple phone call or message would have been appreciated and respectful of my time and condition. What followed during my visit was even more concerning. While waiting, I observed two staff members--Ana (medical assistant) and Iria--standing together and laughing while speaking in Spanish. As someone who does not understand the language, their behavior made me feel extremely uncomfortable and disrespected. It seemed inappropriate and unprofessional, especially in a medical setting where patients are in pain and deserve compassion and privacy. Ana's behavior, in particular, was unacceptable. She showed no empathy and treated me with a complete lack of professionalism. When I tried to express my concerns or ask questions, she responded with sarcasm, rolled her eyes, and made dismissive facial expressions. Her demeanor was cold and uncaring, and it felt as though she had no training in patient care or bedside manner. As a patient in pain, I expected kindness and understanding--not to be mocked or ignored. Rather than listening and offering support, Ana argued with me and accused me of being 15 minutes late--even though I had called ahead to let the clinic know I would be running behind. Instead of showing understanding or offering to help resolve the situation, she chose to fight with me and make me feel even worse. That is not acceptable behavior for someone working in the medical field. Moreover, I was asked by Iria to make a payment in advance before seeing the doctor, something I noticed was not asked of other patients. This made me feel unfairly singled out and targeted. To make matters worse, both Ana and Iria left the front desk to go on lunch without saying anything. I was left waiting with no one to assist me, and when I tried to find someone to talk to, Ana continued her rude attitude instead of offering help or support. Ana's lack of professionalism, poor attitude, and complete disregard for patient care have left me feeling deeply hurt and disrespected. Laughing and rolling eyes at a patient who is clearly in pain is never acceptable under any circumstance. Her behavior was not only unprofessional--it was damaging and discouraging. I hope this complaint is taken seriously. Patients deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. I ask that this matter be addressed appropriately and that steps be taken to ensure a higher standard of professionalism and patient care in the future.

I am a nutrition nerd who reads and studies up on food as medicine, but after years of VERY stressful life situations and trying to self manage my diet, I was still lethargic and moody, even with a squeaky clean diet (no grains, no sugar, no diary). Many of us know that when you can't fix things yourself through diet, there's likely something else going on. It was time to see a doctor who practices functional medicine. Around this time, I also learned that my sister has a specific genetic mutation that could impact my health, so I threw that on the agenda. I arrived at the office with a list of things I needed her input on. She took time to sit with me, review the very detailed medical history questionnaire and listen to what was going on. She was careful and thorough during our visit. She spent an entire hour and a half with me - reviewing my history. No interruptions. No sitting in a room for 45 minutes waiting to speak to the doctor. Me and Dr. Curtis - discussing my issues one on one for over an hour. Who does that anymore? No one. It's not surprising that this level of treatment comes at a cost. Functional doctors can be pricey, but I knew that beforehand. I was also prepared to pay out of pocket if need be as insurance may not cover some of the tests or supplements. My health and the knowledge I gain by working with Dr. Curtis is worth any amount I pay. I am learning how to cope with the stresses of life - what supplements help me in which ways. Which foods work well for my body and which result in negative consequences. My father died young of a sudden heart attack and I am convinced that had I not seen Dr. Curtis, learned the details of my genetic makeup and what lifestyle modifications I needed to make - I would end up with the same fate. The fees I pay for office visits, diagnostic tests and the like are investments in MY health. I'm taking control of my health vs. resorting to pharmacutical remedies and I believe that this investment is worth every penny. I am so very grateful to Dr. Curtis for the work that she does. I can tell by her demeanor that she is doing this work from her heart. She is mindful of the cost of the supplements that she recommends. For example, I was on a 21 day gut rebuilding diet which necessitated a specialized protein powder supplement that was expensive. After the 21 days were up, she and I discussed what to do with the leftover powder and she recommended I use the rest up for meal replacements since it would be wasteful to throw it out and she'd hate for me to lose the $ I'd spent buying it. She also gives samples of supplements to try to make sure it will work with your body composition before you purchase a full bottle. I could not ask for more in a doctor than what Dr. Curtis provides. She is knowledgable, compassionate and she listens. She's not rushing you out of the office because she has to see 5 patients an hour. She is there for you during your appointment time. Her attention is focused on you and your needs. If this is the type of doctor - patient relationship you're looking for, look no further. I recommend AFM and Dr. Curtis to anyone with health challenges. I am a customer for life!

I became a…read morepatient of Dr. Tru at Conscious Medicine starting in June 2024 after being diagnosed with liver cirrhosis at age 27. While some symptoms like fatigue and headaches improved temporarily during treatment, follow-up imaging showed no change in liver scarring, and symptoms quickly returned after stopping supplements in June 2025. I also had ethical concerns about how my case was presented professionally without clear confirmation of imaging changes and her claims of healing cirrhosis based on symptom improvement while I was still on the protocol. Ultimately, I spent about $15k for short-term symptom relief without lasting resolution and there was no due diligence in confirming whether the cirrhosis was actually reversed. Liver doctors have since confirmed scans remain the same. This isn't meant to harm anyone, but to encourage prospective patients to thoroughly research, ask questions, and make fully informed decisions about their care. You deserve that before spending massive amounts of money with whomever you chose to work with.

I couldn't have possibly had a more proficient surgeon had I dreamed one up! Lol. I'm one of those people who really research anyone who is going to be my medical professional. Simply because you only have one life, & you want the best to work with & on you. Plus, i have to be extra thorough in screening doctors because I am a transgender male. It can be very difficult to find good medical care. Someone who isn't going to treat you like an experiment or a mental case. So, you can imagine my excitement when i discovered Dr. Hawkins! My first initial visit with Dr. Hawkins was great. She took me to her office, got to know me, & asked me many questions about what i had been going through. She presented me with options I had not thought of, & gave me some new information that I had not considered. She checked me out, & I was on my way. Days later my body went haywire!!!! It was a nightmare! I was pouring blood, & having huge blood clots. Which had happened once before. I had to change pads & tampons every 30 mins to an hour. I was experiencing difficulty even getting through the day. So, i kept in contact with her medical assistant Jessica. Jessica & Dr. Hawkins make a superb team! Jessica went above & beyond her call of duty. Any time I called her, she was so calm & reassuring! She helped me any way she could! One of the difficult parts about this whole process was that my uterus had literally grown as if i was carrying a baby. It was about 9 inches long. It was up in my abdomen. I had to go to the hospital at least 3 times, & one of those times was an overnight stay that I had to receive a blood transfusion. My leg & foot had almost doubled in size. I went to my podiatrist, & she referred me to a vascular doctor. He discovered I had multiple blood clots in both legs. My uterus was literally tearing my body apart. A year earlier I had been seeing a urologist. My uterus was causing the problem with my bladder. Dr. Hawkins had discovered that my uterus was so large that it was not only crushing my bladder, but sitting on a large vein or vessel (can't remember which) in which was causing the blood clots because the blood couldn't flow properly to my legs. Consequently, I had to have an IVC filter put in to even have the surgery. I had already had one pulmonary embolism due to the blood clots. Dr. Hawkins even admitted to me that this may be a little bit more difficult then she expected. She never gave up though. She consulted with an oncologist that specialized in difficult situations like this. She did her homework. Once I was able to finally have my surgery I was overjoyed!!!! Finally all my agony was about to be over! The day of the surgery Dr. Hawkins reassured me that everything would be fine. My surgery went spectacular. No problems during or after. Once I was okay, she even came to see me on her own personal time. I felt very taken care of by her & her team. Healing went extremely well. My incision is barely visible. My girlfriend, a nurse, even said it looked like artwork. Clean, thin, & beautiful. If you're looking for a surgeon that is intelligent, knowledgeable, & personable do yourself a favor & go to Dr. Hawkins! Best decision of my life!

They were rude and argumentative even after I thoroughly explained what had been happening with my body. This happened not once but twice. The second time was in front of my primary doctor who called to try to get me seen after I explained what had been happening. By this time I had even been in the ER in which Dr. De did not come to see me there while at the hospital and I was still given a difficult time to be seen in person. When I was able to be seen by Dr. De she was not familiar with my chart which was evident by the questions that she asked. She even gave contradicting information from what she had previously said on a televisit call about a procedure performed during surgery. Even on the six week follow up visit, I expressed concerns about what I was continuing to experience. The symptoms progressed even after a test was ordered but I received no direction or guidance on what I could be experiencing and how to manage it. I had to send multiple messages in the portal before she would even address the issue. It was a stressful and terrible experience with FPWCG and I do not recommend Dr. De to anyone after everything that I have endured which is far beyond what is included in this review.
