Now I have been to a fair amount of massage parlors in the past, but I must say that Asian Harmony FAR EXCEEDED my expectations! When she finished with that customer, she came out of the massage room and asked how long I wanted, 30 minutes or one hour, I wanted half hour and told her I was paying with a card. We were standing at the desk and while she was running my card in the machine and she asked me if I wanted to put the tip on the card? I said yes, and she asked me if $40 for the tip was okay? I thought, she was making a mistake because the a half hour massage was $40, I asked again about the tip, and she said $40. I said total $80, with the massage and the tip? She told me "yes, if I wanted this" and made a quick motion with her hand, I'm not going to describe the motion, you can figure that out on your own. I said what if I don't want "that" she said "you can choose later and I give you money back" for the difference in my tip amount. I should have left, but she does such a fantastic massage, I stayed and got the massage anyway. This was the first time she ever made such an overt gesture of that nature, but I guess she was in a hurry and the other customer was getting ready to exit the massage room. The massage was awesome as usual, and I forgot about the refund and let her keep the full tip amount. I would have given 5 stars, but this unusual behavior/gesture while paying, before the massage made me really uncomfortable so the overall experience gets 3 stars.

I called on the Thursday before and got an appointment no problem for the following Monday. I was using a gift certificate from Mother's Day and chose the 80 minute Mokara massage. It is $165. I have frequently gotten 60-90 minute massages from different massage therapists but you are paying for the whole experience from the moment you walk in at places like this. Not just walking in for a massage and leaving. Don't get me wrong, I have people I love for those needed sessions as well! The check in area is tranquil and light filled and calm. I love all the windows with natural light. You are welcomed and walked into the locker room where you are given a robe and slippers (if needed. I used my sandals). You then take your time and then go into the community relaxation sitting/lounging area. There is fruit infused water and hot water for tea and light little snacks. She provided me with little chocolates because I'm not a fan of macaroons. The area was calm and quiet. The seating was comfortable and private. Then came the best massage. Tameka (I'm so sorry if that is spelled wrong) got some personal info from me about different problem areas we might want to focus on and then gave me a choice of essential oil to use. I went with peppermint that day. 80 minutes was incredible. The hot towels were an awesome touch. She used the right amount of oils. Also, she wasn't chatty throughout the session which can happen some times. She was very friendly and i would request her again. After the massage was ended she walked me back to the relaxation area and said to relax and hang out there or in the dry sauna as long as I'd like. The sauna was amazing. Period. When we were "greeted" they asked us to take a seat and relax, but we were not shown where all the amenities were or where to wait. We were never asked to sign waivers/contracts AND NEVER asked if we had allegories before facials or massages. We took a seat in the main waiting area, and then they called two of our girls for their massages. We had to grab one of the workers to show us the red-light room, steam, and sauna areas because we were told we would be able to use those while we waited. Mitzy honestly redeemed the initial interaction with her hospitality - she showed us around and grab us some non-alcoholic champagne. She then tried to grab two other girls for a facial, but quickly realized she had no idea what we had booked and neither did we. Upon trying to look at the website to clarify services, all of the options we were initially presented with were completely different. Furthermore, the communication between the owner and the staff was absolutely terrible, and the communication between staff and customers was worse (besides Mitzy). Everyone's massages (although booked the same) were different. One of our girls actually got exposed for a prolonged period of time while getting her massage for no spoken reason. The facials were using products from amazon, and were subpar for the price. There were multiple instances where staff was overheard saying "what's a 20 min scalp massage" "what add ons are you talking about" "eucalyptus and hot towels, whatever that is" to each other. They had no idea what the services on their website were or how to provide them. Myself and another girl had placed our clothes in the corner and when our massage was done they said "sorry we're out of robes, so just get dressed" and the girl and I were left to figure out how to give each other privacy while retrieving our clothes. Upon checking out there was multiple discrepancies in pricing. Two girls got the same services and one was $130 dollars and the other was $250. This place is a joke, feels like the owner got a couple of friends together and was like hey I need you to work today for me. The owner actually asked us to leave a good review because the last bachelorette trip they did left a bad one.
