I was struggling with an extremely stiff neck and upper back to where I could barely turn my head in either direction. It ended up giving me a severe migraine to where I was beyond miserable. I called and was lucky to get an appt within 24 hours. The staff is incredible. Very friendly and make you feel comfortable the second you walk through the door. The facility itself is immaculate. Very clean, organized, decorated perfectly. During my appt, we did an initial consult where the therapist explained everything, went over stretches, did the stretches and I received a handout to help me know what we did and what to practice at home. He did a very targeted massage that was helping all my trigger spots. Similar to a deep tissue massage. It was uncomfortable but was relieving so much stress and tension it made it worth it. Finally, the finale, the dry needling..... I HATE needles, couldn't even see them when they got them out, but was willing to try whatever to get relief. I'm not sure how many needles I received, but he did my upper back, neck and a few in the back of my head. It was painful, it felt worse than when I came in, BUT after 15-30 mins, I was almost pain free, could move my head back and forth, up and down. And more importantly, my migraine was absolutely GONE. I have tried EVERYTHING over the 10ish years where I have battled this unforgiving, Uncomfortable upper back and neck pain that leads to extreme migraines that last for days. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend. Couldn't be happier and more impressed with my experience today. Already made weekly appts through March. Will recommend to anyone and will be a long time patient.

I have been going here for the last couple of years for a variety of physical, issues. During all…read morethese times I had to do all of the leg work as the finances are through the VA. I recently had rotator cuff and bicep reattachment from a specialist in Layton. This was done 3 weeks ago, so the next step is physical therapy as the VA has authorized 15 sessions. I selected this place as I just had a ligament reattached to my hip in April, which I coordinated through the VA on who was doing the rehab. This time my PT was already authorized and the doctors office sent over the referral. I got a call two days ago from their authorization department, saying they do not have the authorization from the VA. I said yes you do as the physician office has sent it over which states there is 15 visits allowed. She of course got rude saying I cannot be seen until they got the authorization. I called the Patient Advocate and got ahold of community care where we did a 3-way call. We discussed this, and they said what is it they want as it states right here I am authorized 15 visits. I said thank you and this is what is valid. So i canceled my appointment for Monday and called the Surgeons office, and I explained the situation. They sent out another referral to a different PT to get my needs taken care of. They will avoid referring Utah Physical Therapy to New patients as it states my visits are authorized in black and white. The VA will also not suggest them as they do not want Veterans to go through this stupidity, we have other options. I got a call yesterday again from their office, saying we need to get the authorization, as she called them and there is not one. This is simple shit as it is a shared authorization that goes from the surgeons office to the PT who will be providing the care. I told her she was wrong as I verified everything with Patient Advocate and community service, as I have done so prior as well. Well we don't have it, and with out it you cannot be seen unless you want to pay for the sessions individually..........I am refraining from going ballistic. I said the appointment has been canceled and I am going to a different place. I Hung up, and sent a message to VA Patient Advocate, and she said I will be taken care of as We are not going to have our Vets treated this way. The workers here are pretty good, but their management, and billing/authorization is a piece of shit.

Probably a scam. Really weird experience I signed up for the $59 deal that is supposed to be worth…read more$350. I've just have been trying some stuff to be healthier in general and was hoping to get a routine. I walk in and the lady there is really nice. She walks me back. Take some scans (there's a bit of trouble with the scanner) I sit under some red lights and chill for like 20 minutes, you get a foot cleanse where the water turns a color and tells you secrets about your health, and then they put you a vibration plate. The whole thing takes about an hour, maybe an hour and a half. The nice lady tells me to come back in a week to get my results. I come back for my results a week later I wait in the waiting room for about 30 minutes. A Guy takes me back and does the worst sales pitch I've ever heard. Asking me why I signed up for the $59 deal. If I even plan on continuing. I'm a little confused and I say that I was expecting to hear about my results and get a plan. He then says he doesn't have my results and that I should sign up for their $1200 plan so that I can get a plan. I get a little defensive and say I feel confused. I thought I was gonna get a plan today and he said normally I would but they didn't have any of my results. Obviously uncomfortable he offers a free redo on the scans. Promising I probably had results the first time he just couldn't prove it. Anyways, did not like the sales pitch would've appreciated if he just said "hey we don't have any results. Can we please do everything one more time and then see if you would like to continue?" Just right up front. I think that this deal is either too low or their prices are too high. I wouldn't pay $350 for the service that I got I wouldn't even pay $59 again. I would give this place one star for the scam vibes but the lady upfront is really nice. I also felt that the doctor was knowledgeable, skilled, and clearly well educated. That said, the adjustment itself was much more aggressive than I was comfortable with, particularly the neck adjustment. Unfortunately, my neck has continued to hurt throughout the week since my visit, which was concerning to me. I also found the doctor's approach to be somewhat pushy and aggressive, and the bedside manner wasn't quite what I personally prefer in a healthcare provider. I appreciate the knowledge and expertise, but I think a gentler approach, especially when working on the neck, along with more communication about what the patient is comfortable with, would have made my experience much better. I'm sharing this respectfully because I think the facility and staff have a lot of positive qualities, and I hope my feedback can be helpful.
