Healing Travels massage therapy started in late 2020, HT started as a travel and set up in home massage service; as many people were still weary of coming back out into the world but still needed direct care. After 3 long years of traveling all over the state of Michigan Healing Travels next feat was to find a place to call home.
Meet the Business Owner: Erica L.
A passion for travel ignited my journey to become a Massage Therapist, I wanted to obtain the ability to help others but with as little luggage as possible. Massage is the ultimate gift not only for others but for self. There is more than just the physical care aspect, there is mental, emotional and spiritual, where with every knot that is released we learn to let go of pain that we held within our bodies. From my studies in Japan, I've found that Massage is an art, our bodies are clay and throughout time, either become hardened and rigid or remain soft and ever changing to the new woes of life. As a Massage Therapist who has been practicing since 2015 I take pride within my Western and Eastern style techniques, allowing both to flow into the other. I still have so much to learn and with each and every person I meet I am able to add more knowledge and experience. I am grateful to each and every client for you all do a part in helping me to become a better Therapist.
