I signed up for the membership for one year and could not get a regular therapist - every time it was someone different, or the person I was scheduled for called in sick, or was suddenly on vacation, etc. This means for almost every massage, I had to explain what I needed. A few times they canceled just a couple of hours before my appointment! Unfortunately, I bought ME gift cards with a decent discount and scheduled a facial, and guess what!? Just one hour's notice before my appointment they cancelled with no apology! (November, 2025). Apparently to those I've chatted with, they've all agreed with me that this branch is known to be quite unprofessional. I would never recommend the Massage Envy at The Villages/Publix.

My right leg and hip have been hurting me, so I assumed that she would concentrate on that area. I was very specific about the muscles that were involved. However, she spent the first half hour on my upper back and shoulders. When I questioned her, she said that it's all connected. She spent almost no time on the area that was actually hurting me. I would have to say that if you want a light back rub, she might be okay for that. But if you want something that is actually "therapeutic", go to someone else. I can't even recommend the business, because they don't stand behind their therapists since they are all independent contractors. Stay away from this business.
