I had been struggling with arthritis in several of my finger joints when Lisa suggested I try apitherapy. In particular, my left pinky finger was swollen and twisting. It was painful to even touch. Though I tend to do most things in a traditional manner, I decided to give it a try. After the first treatment, I was amazed at the relief I felt. By the third treatment the swelling was gone and the finger looked normal again. Because the inflammation in the joint had disappeared, the finger returned to its normal orientation. After such remarkable results for my arthritis, I had a full body treatment of Reiki and massage. Lisa was strong yet very calming in her approach to treatment. This is a two part review- one about Lisa and one about the bees. Lisa is amazing to work with. She is kind, gentle, intuitive and thoughtful in her work. I am often anxious. In my experience, Lisa moves within her own presence with calm and ease. I am reminded to take a breath and be ok where I am just by being around her. She is grounded and sturdy and that shows in her treatments. Now, about the bees. I've had a few treatments of bee medicine. Afterward I often feel calm and energized. It doesn't hurt, I actually enjoy the sensation, as she is not out right stinging the body, but expertly tapping points on the meridians or doing set ins, when appropriate.
