I tried Josh for the first time a few years ago after a friend raved about his massage. I loved it! The place has a great vibe.

DO NOT GIVE THESE FRAUDS YOUR CREDIT CARD FOR AUTOMATIC RENEWAL. I honored a one-year contract by them having my card number on file. I tried to telephone and email several times to advise them that I would not be renewing my 12-month contract, which ended on August 31, 2025. They never returned my calls or emails, yet I continued to be billed on September 1, October 1, and November 1, at which time I decided to get a new card number. I challenged them during those billings beyond the contract period, and my credit card company credited my account. Today, I received a statement of dispute from the card company telling me "The merchant has not violated the terms and conditions of the sales agreement," and "This is a recurring transaction that was not cancelled before the transaction date." Not only are they thieves, but they are also liars. Do your business with a reputable company. They get one star rating, as I could not post this review otherwise. read more

I have had many massages over the past few years and this was one of the worst. The woman at the frond desk said Josh was her favorite so I signed up with him. i could list at least ten things he did wrong but he seemed not to know muscle structure and often massaged bone not muscle very painful. This was my 1st experience with healing hands, and ive got to tell it was AMAZING! I saw Jen and she was very helpful, got me situated in the room and asked if i wanted to check out some essential oils for relaxation which i did and found one that worked for me. Then asked what kind of massage i wanted. i like deep tissue massage because of arthritis issues. I saw Tammie today and it was amazing! I have had a string of bad luck this past week and I was feeling wound up like a yo yo! I had her preform reiki on me, which I didn't know much about, but the energy work she preformed definitely made a difference! She balanced my chakras which were definitely out of wack because I could feel it, the tingling and heat sensation when she wasn't even touching me proved something was happening! And when she moved over my stomach area my stomach did not stop gurgling! So cool! And then she gave me the best message I have had in a long time! I am a hairstylist and my shoulders get very tight! My review is in reference to Healing Hands Massage located in West Chester and surrounding Chester and Delaware County! First of all, I was a client at Healing Hands for 15 years! Bought all of my holiday gifts, mothers day, fathers day etc. I also joined the VIP services. However, as a VIP member my credit card was automatically deducted without any notification on several different occasions. Twice I had to call to inform them I never was credited the month that were charged twice. I spoke with the owner, Tom, about this and explained that if there was an error on their behalf that it was their obligation to inform the members, especially since they referred to us as "VIP". He informed me there were approximately 800 people he would have to notify, which I stated was the correct thing to do instead of hoping people just didn't realize their mistake. At this time, I canceled my membership and the following month was charged again for a month of services, which I clearly told him to cancel my membership. Furthermore, I was given a "living social" gift card from a friend and was informed due to already being a member at their facility that I would not be able to use the gift card with out paying the extra amount as a normal massage would cost. So for Mother's Day this year, I received a $75 Spa Finder Gift Card, who is a participating member of Healing Hands Massage. With that being said, I decided to give Healing Hands another try. To their credit, they do have amazing therapist there (Ian, Patrica) that are wonderful, talented, and very professional. As June, also being my birthday month, Healing Hands sent me a $15 off coupon for a massage. I called and spoke with a young woman about this and was informed that this coupon could not be used with my gift card. She could not provide me a reasonable explanation and even agreed that this did not in fact make sense. Considering if I had a $75 dollar gift car from HEALING HANDS they could make the deduction, but because the Spa Finder Gift Card was considered a discounted rate. I explained to her that my husband paid the full $75 for the gift card and there was no discount. Then, I proceeded to question if Spa Finder reimbursed Healing Hands just like if I used a credit card and was told yes. I concluded this conversation with a final piece... I asked if I showed up that day with my coupon and my credit card would they honor they coupon and she stated yes. I was shocked and confused... But honestly, this business is unprofessional and seems to put their business needs first even if the customer is right! They run that place like they probably did a few years ago, where there was not any other competition. Places like Hand and Stone Massage and Massage Envy are loving the fact that Healing Hands Massage treat their customers in this manner because they are getting their former customers. So take it from me... join Hand and Stone Massage or Massage Envy... these places still care and put the time in to deal with their customers. read more

I wouldn't know how the massage is at Healing Hands because I wasn't even able to get that far in the process. I purchased a set of amazon local deals for my wife and I and we went to redeem them as per our appointment (which took four phone calls and 45 minutes to schedule) we had planned our entire afternoon around this appointment that wound up not happening. Due to some error (perhaps why it took 45 minutes over the phone) the masseurs were not on site but at another location. Unbelievably, the woman at the front desk, identifying herself as the owner, said that she "wasn't sure who screwed up" and in a bubbly but seemingly oblivious tone informed us that "by the time the masseurs arrive, your time will be over". Are you kidding me? So apparently our time is meaningless to them and basic customer service couldn't even be attained. Why couldn't these masseurs come to this location where we had made the appointment? Why would WE have to lose our time? Is this some type of joke? Luckily, we were able to get refunds from Amazon. I was warned about this places pathetic ownership and should have listened. read more

I have been going to Lyse at Healing Hands for about 2 years, she gives really relaxing massages, and even though she works out all of the kinks, her massages always feel great, they are never painful (which can happen if you are as tense as I am). I am always extremely tense around the neck and shoulders and leave feeling great every time. I also get migraines, and Lyse's massages help more than any other massage therapist I've been to. She is in high demand (for good reason), so you definitely want to schedule a bit ahead of time. Having said that, if I'm dealing with a "migraine emergency", even if she is not scheduled for that day, the schedulers will contact her and ask her if she is able to accommodate you on her day off, and oftentimes, she is. I feel very lucky to have found her when I was looking to leave the local massage "chain" store. I'd never leave her in a million years! read more
