The day of the cruise, her wheelchair battery would not charge. I went to Guest Service to request an electric wheelchair or scooter. We also requested a bed rail for my friend to hold onto to get in and out of bed. Celebrity doesn't offer bed rails and has no electric chairs or scooters unless ordered in advance. I quickly Googled emergency delivery of medical equipment, and Elmora popped up. I called, and Ben answered. I told him my predicament and asked if he could deliver to the cruise ship terminal. Ben was right on it and on his way immediately with a wheelchair and a bed rail. The gangway was to be taken from the ship at 3:20 PM, and Ben arrived at 2:50 PM. At first, security would not give me clearance to leave the ship, but the wonderful woman at guest services made it happen!!!! Thank you, Emma, at Celebrity Silhouette Guest Services!! Without Ben and Elmora, my friend would be sleeping in her non-functioning wheelchair for seven nights. I owe Ben a debt of gratitude for his quick help and kindness. He contacted me during the cruise to see how we were doing. That meant everything to my friend and me! Thank you, Ben, from the bottom of my heart!!!! My father and I called over 5 times together, and my new pharmacy did as well. Today, they left a voicemail saying they'e not going to send it and to make sure I "really needed it." Who would be THIS annoying about getting their pills unless they really needed it? They also said they already "made" my prescription and despite us saying I moved over 300 miles away, I should get somebody to pick it up regardless. This is extremely unprofessional and I don't know in what world the staff here think this is appropriate. The ONE saving grace about this place though is if you go between 2-4 pm on a weekday there's usually no line. In theory if they count your pills right consistently and you go in during that window, your pharmacy visits should be 5 minutes tops. That never happened for me or any of my family members though.

It's a large store, they have wheelchairs, medications in a large array, hospital socks (wtf I know I'm weird but they're so comfy and never found them for sale anywhere) and so much more! They even sell cleaning products, all at a reasonable price! God I ramble, but the staff was really warm and inviting when I entered. I felt like they cared that I chose to come to them to purchase medication I needed for post-surgery necessities. The doctor sent my prescription to a pharmacy I've used but turns out they only fill dermatologist prescriptions. The dr tells me to call the pharmacy and have them send it to another pharmacy to make things quicker. I call the pharmacy and they say protocol is the receiving pharmacy should call to retrieve the scripts. I call Bergen ave drugs as it's next to where I live, and explain the situation. I asked them to call SIP ave pharmacy to retrieve the prescription for me and fill it. The man on the phone asked me what the name of the medication was but I was unsure. He said "so you don't know the name?" As if I didn't just say that I didn't know the name of the medication. He went on to say I should find out the name so he doesn't waste his time. So I asked, in disbelief, "so you can't call them to get the prescription for me?" He repeated the fact that it will be a waste of time if I don't know the name. THANKS FOR NOTHING. I told him I'll use a different pharmacy. A waste of time ?!?! I can't believe he said that. I'm sorr, I thought u were paid to be at work, my apologies for trying to get a pain medication filled while I'm at work and in massive pain. I won't ever waste this pharamacys time again. I usually go in there to purchase little things here and there because it's not a chain pharmacy but a neighborhood one, and I like that. but at this point I'd rather go to CVS or Walgreens, they wouldn't think helping me is a waste of time.

Handed him my Medicare cards (original and supplement) to allow hime to make copies for billing. A couple of days laters I got a call and he was yelling that he billed and the claim was rejected. I asked what insurance he'd billed, and it was only the supplement. Clearly he knew nothing about billing Medicare, because the nature of a supplement is that it's secondary! He yelled that he got a letter that told him to do that, and when I tried to tell him it didn't make sense for original Medicare, he was rude and yelled that he didn't have time for this. I should have hung up the phone.
