I needed a headshot quick and called Mr Alan. I initially wanted to do the same day but he told me to wait til the next day because the sun would Go down soon and I will be too rushed anyhow. So glad I listen to him because the next day I had more time to get ready. I was skeptical to shoot w strangers, and with a male (I am very conservative and traditional) but Mr Alan made me feel safe and comfortable. He was a gentleman and left the door open while we shot. The front door is literally right by where he shoots you. He was nice and a pro, also funny- he sang to me and asked about my husband which made me laugh and relaxed during the shoot. He listened to my likes and dislikes about lighting, angles, poses etc. He worked pretty quick and sent me over 80 images. I was able to pick 24 for him to edit and return to me. There were so many good ones, it took me hours to decide on my 1 final one but I think I finally did lol. Would definitely return and recommend to others! Thank you!! read more

Easy parking, reasonable price- I wouldn't go to anyone else! Thank you, Alan! read more

After reading several yelp reviews about photographers for headshots in my area I decided to go with Alan and I definitely do not regret it. I really liked his sample work and I was hoping he could produce the same for me. He delivered with flying colors! The appointment setup was painless. The shoot took about an hour and he made me feel comfortable and confident that I would get the best quality photos I could. The reason I decided to go with Headshots Plus is because the price point and the quality of work seemed to be more than reasonable. I even tipped him an extra 20 dollars because I was so pleased with the process. Other photographers were charging 50% to 100% more. After the shoot he let me choose a bunch of photos that I really liked and he told me he would touch them up so that they would look perfect. He had them ready for me in less than 24 hours and I must say I was thoroughly impressed! I am very pleased with the whole experience and I would highly recommend Alan to anyone looking to get QUALITY headshots at a VERY REASONABLE print point. read more

I was looking for some photos to update my online professional profiles. Many of the places I looked at were either way out of my price range or didn't look at all professional. I found Alan through this yelp page and setup an appointment. Scheduling was easy and he was able to accommodate a last minute change to my schedule. We did a 1 hour session and got some great shots. I had the re-touched photos back the next day and picked out 5 additional that got even more polish. This was a great experience and I ended up with exactly what I was looking for, some simple head shots to bring out my professional self. read more

Professional headshots sound nerve-wracking and scary. However, working with Alan made the process enjoyable! I had to get headshots taken for my graduate program so, I searched yelp for something reasonably priced. Luckily, I found Headshots Plus close by to my house! Alan walked me through the process and took numerous professional headshots in indoor and outdoor settings. He worked his angles and produced such amazing photos. He then allowed me to choose numerous photos for edits. The edits came the next day! 10/10 would recommend if you are looking to get professional headshots done at a very reasonable price in the LA area. read more

I went to another photographer before Alan to take headshots and it was awful. It was one picture and no wardrobe changes or anything. I am so glad that I went on Yelp and found Alan. He was great from the beginning. He is very friendly and personable. He took many photos and my pictures came out great. He communicates very well, and walks you through the whole process. Oh and his prices are great! You get top notch service and quality. I had plenty to choose from thanks to Alan's help. Fabulous headshots! You will look fantastic. Alan goes the extra mile. He takes several shots and is very easy to work with.

Thank you to Yelp users I found Alan! I honestly hate getting in front of a camera. I procrastinated on getting headshots done until the very last minute, and Alan was able to accommodate my busy schedule right away. He did an excellent job making me feel comfortable and making the task as painless as possible. I really liked how he uses natural light. I feel that makes the photos look even better. He is positive and encouraging the entire time especially if you're a little camera shy like me. Not to mention, his price for the amazing quality of work that he does is very competitive. You get twenty four edited photos (24!!). I have looked all over and requested quotes from multiple parties all looking for $200+ for a session, maybe with 1 or 2 edited photos. As a young professional, it is a little absurd to shell out that much money to invest in your career. For ladies, his competitive price makes it a little easier for us to not feel guilty about getting our hair and makeup done on top of that if needed. Although a session is supposed to be 1 hour, Alan gladly spends more time to make sure you are happy with your photos. He even edited all my photos and sent it to me the same night - and he definitely delivered. For the price you pay, you are not sacrificing quality. I now have multiple professional photos to use on different platforms. I have already and will continue to recommend him to others! I might even be back sooner than later for updated headshots from Alan. Send him a message today! read more

Alan is very friendly and professional, that you have thought of knowing him for long. I requested him a quote and he offered a reasonable price of 24 photos. Photos are polished and sent back to me at the same day. Definitely come back to him for my graduation! read more

Absolutely incredible service! Alan did an amazing job with my professional headshots. He takes over 200 photos and you pick 30 of the ones you like. Alan did a great job. He was professional, went straight to work, and the music he had on allowed me to feel even more relaxed when it was picture time. I was able to pick the pictures I that I liked calmly without any interruptions or any rush. read more

I needed professional pictures for a resume, and so couldn't rely on taking any pictures of myself. So after some research, I headed over to Headshots Plus for a photo shoot. I set an appointment for the next day, and we got started immediately with no delays. Alan, the photographer, was actually ready with everything set up before I got there to begin on the dot. I found this to be an essentially positive thing about Headshots Plus since many places don't seem to know what an appointment means. Among comparison to other places, Headshots Plus pricing rates were great, especially with the quality pictures you will get. Upon getting started, I was asked what poses I preferred and was comfortable with, and was also given ideas on other poses to display my professionalism. Nothing was rushed which thankfully allowed me to relax and have fun with the different shots (this was my first photo shoot). Moreover, he would take many pictures of multiple poses so that after he can review all the ones you do and don't like; This is critical as I felt I wasn't limited to only certain poses/shots. Furthermore, he will also touch up the shots you selected with professional computer software to make sure the pictures look the best, with lighting and such, and gets back to you in a timely fashion. As far as how good the shots look, I was amazed at the quality. Absolutely nothing you can take at home with basic and digital cameras can compare to the quality and detail of the pictures he took. Note that I have taken pictures in events by hired photographers, and Alan's shots were easily among all. The samples you see in his listing is exactly the type quality you will expect to see yourself in, if not better. 10/10 I would go back if I need more professional pictures for any occasion. read more

Moving to LA was scary enough and I was nervous to start pursuing my goals but after getting my head shots with Alan I have a burst of confidence and excitement! He was just as excited as I was and had me watch a short video that helped me start the photo shoot with simple yet effective poses. I knew what he wanted and he knew what I wanted and it was an easy and fun hour. His prices are affordable and I couldn't have asked for better pictures. He edited more then I expected and they were all high definition. I had 3 different looks and 3 different settings. I have already been contacted by 2 producers and I only have my head shots to thank. Book Alan and you will NOT be disappointed. read more
