Michael Roud!!! Truly does not get any better than this…read more I've taken great photos with a lot of talented photographers in LA, but shooting with Michael was a compleeeeetley upgraded experience. After my agent recommended them to me, I scheduled my shoot knowing I would probably get a handful of great shots- when I received them I had to somehow narrow it down to a sendable amount. I ended up sending all these incredible shots and my agent agreed - whole new level of photos, and personality brought out in these flawless pics. After nonstop booking, I clearly cannot say enough great things about Michael and his hard working team. Excited to shoot here again.

We just had our family mini session with Vlove this past Sunday and had such a pleasant experience…read morethere. I highly recommend this place. The photographer took some amazing photos and made all of us felt at ease. The studio is small but has everything needed for the photoshoot. It is clean and cute. The photographer and her assistant were both very friendly. They played with our kids, had toys to attract their attention and she captured some great smiles. My daughter is super shy and it's very difficult to get her to open up. When we first entered the studio, the photographer started danced with my daughter and tried to get her loosen up. I thought that was such a kind and nice gesture. My kids told us that they had a fun time there as if everything was a game. We haven't had a professional photo shoot in years because I had a traumatizing experience with another photographer who did not show up and we were waiting in the middle of a mountain. At first I was nervous to do this photoshoot But Vlove came recommended by a friend. I'm so glad I booked the mini session and I look forward to our final edited photos !

We discussed and confirmed a time first, and I thought the next step was paying the deposit…read more Their logic was: you must pay the deposit first before you even have the "right" to secure the time slot. As parents, coordinating schedules for babies is not easy. We need time to confirm naps, feeding schedules, parents' availability, etc. I completely understand requiring a deposit, but I genuinely didn't expect zero flexibility after hours of communication. Normal logic would be: confirm a workable time first then pay the deposit. Their policy was: pay first then maybe continue discussing the schedule. And this is not a cheap studio either: $600 for 15 photos. For that price, I expected at least some professionalism and empathy toward families with small children. Timeline: * 2:51 PM -- discussed the time, I replied "should work" * 5:08 PM -- I officially confirmed * 5:51 PM -- they replied: "No availability anymore" I spent two hours coordinating schedules. They took one hour to reply, and the final answer was simply: "No availability." At this point, I honestly feel like some LA businesses have become way too comfortable ignoring customer experience.

If you are thinking about hiring Jeremy as your photographer, DO NOT. I wish someone had told me…read morethis before we committed to him as our wedding photographer. Jeremy, by far, was the WORST part of my wedding experience. He is lazy, manipulative, rude, so so slow, and makes excuses for every little thing. He will also charge you extra left and right and will not deliver when he says he will. We recently JUST got the final pictures and videos, now almost a year after the wedding I know what he will do once he sees this review. He will make excuses just like he did every step of the way. But honestly, if I can stop one more bride from having a aggravating experience, I will be happy. Fast forward to the wedding day. I had texted him two days prior to the wedding to let him know that we would like him in our hotel room at 1:30pm so that he can take pictures of us getting ready. It was now almost 2pm, he was nowhere to be found, and I had my husband call him. He tells us that he's been sitting in the lobby and that we should've called him earlier. WHY would I need to call him when I told him two days prior to be there at 1:30pm with our hotel room number. I was busy getting ready, and I knew that was going to happen which is why I gave him instructions beforehand. He was obviously just late and instead of letting us know that he might be late or even apologize, he just brushed it off. He didn't even get any picture of my husband and the groomsmen getting ready. After the wedding it was time to take pictures with family and friends. Obviously we relied on him on where to stand for then pictures. Well it turns out ALL of those pictures have a bright circle from the sun. Most of the circles are on our faces. When we brought it up during the editing phase, he told us that it couldn't be removed and that that's just how it is. AND YOU COULDN'T TELL US US THIS WHILE WE WERE TAKING THE PICTURES?! He also chose a place that had guests and workers in the background of our photos. We thought he was editing them out, but he tells us after the fact that they can't be removed. Why didn't we take the pictures at a different location or angle? Mind you the entire time we were asking for the edits he was being defensive and telling us he disclosed all of this to us....well he didn't. We also didn't get any pictures with our wedding singer (even though we specifically hired him for the ceremony and reception) despite our request. It took us about 12 weeks to get the unedited pictures from the wedding.....which was a long time to wait. He shared like 5 pictures as "teasers" but it took him the full 12 weeks to upload the pictures into a file we can look at. NOT EVEN EDITED. So why did it take him that long just to upload? There were 4000+ pictures and he made it sound like we were getting ALL of the pictures as a favor. Well let me tell you that no one needs 4000+ pictures. Most of them were us with weird faces and some weird pictures that no one needed. Just an organized ~500 pictures would've been fine, but no. He uses the 4000+ pictures as an excuse that it took so long..... uploading 500 or 4000+ unedited pictures into a folder for us to view does not take that long. He then told us to pick our favorites to go into the Album, and those pictures would be edited. Well I don't even know what his idea of editing is because the final pictures still had graffiti and bird poop in the background. He told us those can't be edited out. OKAY SO WHY DID WE TAKE THE PICTURES THERE?! Also, every time he gave us a delivery date, it was not met. We always had to follow up and he would tell us "oh I sent it yesterday" .....well you didn't because neither of us got it. He always had something or someone to blame. When I pointed out his terrible customer service, he decided that he wasn't going to talk to me anymore. He sends a message to my husband saying he won't communicate with me anymore. EXCUSE ME I paid for the service. What kind of a business refuses to talk to his clients that paid him?! Because I was pointing out how frustrating it was to work with an arrogant, lying person? He is ridiculous. He was literally the worst part of the happiest day of our lives. If you are considering him, please for the life of me, don't. You will regret the choice. He told us that the wait is worth it for the pictures. Trust me, they are not. P.s. do you really want someone that says "I'm also happy to offer your husband a discount on his next wedding" to be your wedding photographer? Let's think about that one.

1000000/10 recommend Doug and his crew!…read more Doug photographed our engagement session, our wedding, and also provided our photobooth, and I couldn't be happier. From the start, he was professional, responsive and fun to work with. As someone who needs a lot of direction, I appreciated that he took the time to ask thoughtful questions to understand the style we were looking for. He even recommended the perfect location and timing for our engagement shoot. My (now) husband and I are definitely not comfortable in front of a camera, but Doug made us feel completely at ease and somehow made us look far more photogenic than we really are! On our wedding day, he knew the timeline better than I did. He kept everyone on schedule, seemed to be everywhere at once (while somehow remaining ninja-like), and captured every important moment beautifully. He also came prepared with a "magic emergency bag." Need something? He's got it! Eyelash glue, double-sided tape, a crochet hook, a hair wax stick... you name it. Who knows what else was in there, but it saved the day more than once! While all the photos turned out even better than I imagined, what truly sets Doug apart is his ability to capture the moments you don't even realize are happening. Those candid glances, laughs, interactions, and yes, even the kids picking their noses, have become some of our favorite memories from the day. The photobooth was also a huge hit. We had multiple guests comment that the photo quality was the best they'd ever seen from a wedding photobooth. By the end of the night, our family had unanimously named Doug the MVP of the wedding, and we couldn't agree more. If you're looking for a photographer who is talented, organized, and genuinely cares, Doug is your guy.
