Headquarters is a cute small coffee spot! We employee was friendly and patient as we kept finding more items and drinks to get. The menu is a decent size and then you look around to see the various drinks in the cooler and cute stickers for sale. I was happy to see some non-alcoholic options! My friends and I enjoyed our drinks and wish we were local to make a trip back. Recommend stopping in! read more

This pls e was recommended by a local and it was a great surprise. This place uses a locally roasted coffee called Sky Bear. The place has been opened for 13 years and we definitely could see why. The local art on the wall is for sale and there is also a cute little courtyard outback to enjoy your drink. Batista was really nice and the place is super clean. Tiny spot! Coffee was pretty good and they some cute local stuff for sale inside in the shop too.

This shop is such a cute find! It was tiny but full of character. The artwork on the walls and merch (stickers) really stand out and create a fun vibe. The cold brew was a bit too strong and bitter but that's better than it being light! read more

Veryyyy tiny but I've never had sorghum before and the sorghum cinnamon latte was DELISH. I would 10/10 recommend. It's definitely just a stop by place, not a get work done place, but I still recommend. Carve out about 15 read more

This is a cool spot to stop by, especially in this area. If they're busy, expect a bit of a wait. We tried their matcha, and it was delicious. I was hoping they'd make their own flavored syrups, but they were using McCormick's, which I haven't seen before. That said, you can really tell they care about their coffee, bites, and customers. Overall, a great spot! read more

The coffee at Headquarters was excellent--their syrup-to-latte ratio was perfect. Inside seating is very limited, so I'd recommend grabbing your coffee to go. If you choose to sit on the outdoor patio, be aware that there's a large bowl full of cigarette butts, a mildewing HVAC system, and an overall unsanitary feel. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I think a patio in this condition should be addressed, as it impacts the overall experience. With a quick cleanup of the outdoor area, this place could easily be a five-star spot. read more

I don't typically leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I feel it's important to share. I stopped in during my break hoping to enjoy a cup of coffee and support a local business. From the moment I approached the counter, the interaction was unwelcoming. The employee did not acknowledge me when I walked up or when I said good morning. I ordered two shots of espresso and asked for the cup to be filled with oat milk and caramel syrup, similar to a latte. Instead of simply clarifying or accommodating the request, the employee responded with visible frustration, stating that they are "not Starbucks" and that what I was asking for "doesn't exist." I calmly explained that I understood the terminology and was simply requesting espresso with oat milk and syrup added. The conversation continued to feel dismissive and argumentative rather than helpful. Although my drink was eventually made, there was no communication during checkout, and it was placed on the counter without a word. Basic courtesy and professionalism were completely lacking. As someone who values supporting local businesses, I was genuinely disappointed. I work nearby and had hoped this would become a regular stop, but after feeling unwelcome and spoken to dismissively, I will not be returning. Perhaps i'll be treated better at Starbucks. read more

If a coffeeshop were a homie studio apartment, headquarters would be it! This coffeeshop is small but mighty with some of the best coffee in Nashville! We love the spicy mocha, which definitely brings the spice! Their seasonal drinks are delicious and a classic cappuccino also doesn't disappoint. Their blueberry muffins are moist and taste great! They have other baked goods (croissants and scones) and breakfast burritos as well. The space itself is small and quaint, with little secret spaces to enjoy. They have a back patio as well which is a great little hideaway. It is across the Richland park which has a farmers market every Saturday - picking up an HQ coffee and heading to the park is a true staple of living in Sylvan Park area! The staff is lovely - providing great recs while also making wonderful coffee! read more

Got to check out this coffeeshop recently and it's definitely a blink and you'll miss it kind of spot when you're driving by. It gives you the charm of a small town inside of a big city like Nashville. I got an iced caramel latte with oat milk and my fiance got a cold brew with vanilla and a splash of oat milk. The service was quick and friendly. This is a good small shop to grab a cup of coffee before going to the park across the street or to hang out on your own with a book. read more

Headquarters. Where have you been since 2016, when I found my way to Nashville. I'm embarrassed that I didn't find you sooner. I feel like we've lost so much time together. I'm sorry. I hope that going forward our caffeinated relationship can thrive. Your narrow, funky, and beautiful space has found a place in my heart. The music was perfectly suited for a first date with your cold brew and brekkie burrito. The Smiths, The Cure, and Joy Division...it was like a matcha made in heaven. I wish I was closer, but for now, the 40 minute drive will have to do. I promise I won't stay away too long. All my cold brew love. read more

Such a quaint place! We love stopping here before the Richmond Park farmers market on Saturdays. It's tight quarters, but perfect for grab and go. They are always quick and have some fun specials. Truly a unique find in the Nations or even greater Nashville area. This cozy coffee shop is a "blink and you'll miss it" kind of spot. Nestled next to an antique shop, this small but mighty coffee spot boasts some awesome flavors and friendly staff. I came here to work on my laptop and was very surprised at how narrow this place is. There's only about 4-spots to sit not including a tiny bench for guest or the outdoor patio in the back. The menu here simple, but focused. I order a cold brew and a cherry scone. The cold brew was awesome! A strong cup with low acidity and a just touch of bitterness at the end, just how I like it! This paired great the cherry scone. The scone was the winner of the afternoon. Huge cherries baked into a dense crumbly pastry. The sweet flavor was a nice break from the flavor punch of my cold brew. I live in Mount Juliet, but if I found myself in the neighborhood again I would definitely make a pit stop here. read more

Headquarters is the cutest little itty bitty coffee place. I came here on a weekend morning for a little caffeine boost and all the tables were already all full, so I got my order to-go. As I was standing in line I looked around at their jars full of tea. They had just about every tea flavor so I knew that if I were to get a tea latte I would be in good hands here. I opted for the honey sage latte, which is one of their seasonal flavors. I also got a sausage cheese roll. The coffee was great and the roll was delicious. I have two things that would keep me from coming back in the future. First, the shop is on Charlotte and so they do not have a parking lot. You are on your own to try and find street parking. Second, when a line forms in this place you can barely get out because 20 people inside feels like too many. Otherwise, a very charming place with good coffee and baked goods. read more

A solid neighberhood coffee shop. A bit on the small side, so unless you're here at a slow time or one of the first in the door you might not want to plan on working from here, but a great place to grab a cup if you're browsing shops in the area. I didn't notice any type of latte options, so I'm thinking they don't have the equipment to foam milk, but some great espressos and good drip coffee options. Some food options from other local vendors. read more

Best breve, espresso base was super mild and creamy. You know when something is so good you want to savor it, but you also want to inhale it? Yeah, that was my breve. Wowza! Hello, little hidden gem. Running errands in West Nashville, I quickly checked Yelp for a local coffee spot I had not been to yet. This was close the post office I was leaving so I went right over. Parked right on the street outside the little strip. ***I could see parking being atrocious on the weekend though. Walked in to a delightful atmosphere full of amazing coffee smells and chill vibes. The coffee was mainly from OSA, a local coffee roaster to Nashville. They sell the beans there also - great to know. I had a cold brew coffee with fresh lavender flavoring. My husband had a drip coffee. We were both pleased! The woman working at the coffee shop was very nice and told us a lot about the options available to eat as well. There is indoor and outdoor seating available and all was cozy and spaced out enough for comfort. So enjoy your coffee outside on a nice day! I would come back here for sure and bring friends. It's a nice low key spot for a 2-3 person business meeting, friend coffee date, and much more! Probably not best for a big party though. read more

Damn. You. Spicy. Mocha. I love and hate you at the same time!! Mocha's aren't even my go to espresso drink but I can't stop ordering it at Headquarters!! On my last visit I asked them to cut back on the chocolate sauce and it was simply perfect! Creamy, strong, and spicy all at the same time. I love it! This adorable coffee shop is such a great addition to my neighborhood and I love that they carry products from Spark of Life! I was able to grab a raw pad thai from their case and they also carry Vegan Vee products as well! Plus they have almond milk, my fav. Win win! It was our first time here. Coffee was good. I ordered two drinks. Friend ordered one. We both got the lavender local honey latte, iced. I ordered a simple local honey latte for my husband. I was going to drop it off to him. I made a mistake trying to put in the tip on the screen pay thing. Instead of putting 1.00 I just clicked 1. I told her I made a mistake but the barista got kind of flustered when she saw 1 cent and scoffed and turned around saying "it's already processed so". I asked her if she had change.. she waved one arm in the air in frustration. And exclaimed "let me finish making this first!" Woops. Didn't think being not technologically savvy for a second could make someone flustered. My friend saw the frustration and we both looked at each other confused. Anyway. She finished our drinks, they looked really good! Her handwriting is very nice. She gave me change for the $20. I gave her $2. End of story lol! We will probably come back because I like the coffee. I'll never make that mistake again! read more

I have no shame in admitting that I judge a coffee shop based on its honey lattes & few come close to the one at HQ. It's warm, soothing and has just the right amount of honey to sweeten it up & put you in the best mood. Aside from that delight, their standard drip coffee is delicious and the specialty drinks are second to none. So don't pass them up! Step inside & treat yourself. We've been here dozens of times and it's usually more hit than miss, but the last few times have not been good. This time for example we got an iced orange vanilla specialty drink and there was no orange, and a plain latte extra hot, and either the milk was scalded or it was going bad because it tastes cheesy/pukey. I found this place in what looks like an abandoned neighborhood that has just started to get life back into it. This is a really small space, but a really cool, calming and welcoming space. It is pretty hipster place, but I don't say that as a negative as I see in some reviews. I think the crowd here is an eclectic bunch. The guy serving was helpful and patient. The coffee was extremely good and the pastry was good. This will be a very popular spot as the neighborhood continues to revitalize. I can't wait to go back. read more

All the good things: This place is adorable (albeit tiny) and very walkable. They have a great selection of baked goods and bottled beverages in the cooler. I was really excited to see the seasonal lattes were in fact, seasonal- and tasty. The syrups? Homemade. The not so good thing: while my honey/sage latte and Nutella/orange latte were tasty, they were both espresso drinks with warmed milk. The milk wasn't really frothed which made it more like a flavored cafe au lait. I understand that baristas want to chat with their friends when they come in, but please don't do so at the expense of other paying customers who really want a good latte. I hope next time I get a real latte. read more

I had around 30 minutes to kill in between meetings and decided to hop out of my car and check out some of the revitalization going on in this neighborhood. I believe that recently opened Thistle Stop Cafe, Nuvo Burrito, and fairly new addition Headquarters will help anchor this West Charlotte Avenue neighborhood. When I popped in on this rainy morning, I was a little thrown off by how small the interior space is as it isn't conducive to lingering for conversations or to set-up a mobile office, but it still possessed a quiet charm through the lack of square footage. I certainly appreciated the commitment to carry primarily local vendors too. Spark of Life, Booch, Vegan Vee, Roast, High Garden Tea, and Dozen Bakery are all stocked here! I ordered up a specialty iced coffee and the price was fair and the service was quick. My only other gripe was that the female barista seemed a bit gloomy but perhaps, the stormy weather fueled that mood. I'll definitely consider popping into Headquarters again if I'm in the area but the lack of space to spread out and get comfortable will be the only reason why I won't be a regular. However, if you're someone who jets in for coffee before your morning commute or is seeking an efficient spot to quickly pick up a healthy and locally sourced snack, Headquarters could be the perfect pit-stop for you. read more
