Incredibly upsetting experience at this hair salon today. I am Dominican and have grown up going…read moresolely to Dominican hair salons because of my hair type. While I am in the area I looked for a local Dominican hair salon. Today is the second time I try to make an appointment that resulted in me sitting there for over an hour past my scheduled appointment only for me to have to leave because it was getting too late. I was hopeful in having a relaxing moment before my date, instead ended up having to cancel my date. The most upsetting and offensive part is when I got up to tell the stylist my time is valuable and that I was leaving after waiting over an hour past my scheduled appointment she just responded with "okay" I said to her next time someone tries to make an appointment be truthful and don't make them wait a whole hour past the time they scheduled and she again responds with "okay" nothing else, no apology, zero accountability and a grin on her face. I was looking forward to a nice relaxing moment instead I walked out of there offended, my time wasted, almost in tears and my hair still a mess. If this is how they treat their customers there is absolutely no way I could trust them with my hair. Unfortunately this location does not value their customers and take advantage of the customers time. I do not recommend this place of business.

FIND ANOTHER STYLIST before you waste your money going here. Constance needs to go back to styling…read moreschool. I wanted highlights (did not get) one color and much too dark. She says she has been a stylist for over 30 years. Well she sold me a product treatment that I did not need. So just so she could up sale me. I did not know till I spoke to a real stylist. Secondly, she gave me a butchered haircut and NOTHING like I asked for. Halfway thru she admitted to making a mistake and one side was off, she cut it much shorter on ONE side than I wanted. It was a train wreck. I scheduled another appointment with a better stylist who tried his best to fix the mess she left of my hair. He said he had never seen such a disaster and asked if she was new. Lol of course, I said she claims she has done hair for 30 or 35 years. The third thing she did was said I needed a balayage treatment. My stylist said that is for long hair. (I didn't know what it was.) My hair was short to begin with and then she cut it shorter so no balayage was needed. She is a thief! I am telling you this was the WORSE haircut I have EVER had in my entire life!
