If you…read morelook at it in its current form, it really (at least to me) gives you a vibe of being really trendy and fashion forward. I thought that me walking into a place that like that-- donning my unfashionable t-shirt and khaki shorts-- would leave me feeling like the odd one out. "Why are you here?" sort of thing. Fast forward a few nights ago... I was wanting to switch from my normal haircutter because they are way out in Omaha. I saw this place listed on the Yelp app and could even book online. On a whim I booked an appointment & I'm super glad I did! Turns out that there was zero need for my hesitations about stopping in & the whole place at an awesome, comfortable, relaxed vibe about it. I admitted from the start I'm somewhat ignorant when it comes to what to ask for in a haircut. Scott (the owner) took this in stride and gave me some feedback and education which really helped a ton. Didn't feel rushed and I really liked the results. If I was offered a free haircut elsewhere I'd probably still opt to visit here instead at this point to be honest. Thanks a lot, Scott!

Scott spent 2 hours with me where we really talked about my style, about how I like my hair to look, how I wear it and what I wanted out of the style. He offered his opinions and really helped me understand how to improve on what I wanted rather than simply doing as I asked. If you're looking for someone who will actually take an active role in the process then I highly suggest The Edge Salon and Scott.

When I do make hair appointments at this salon it is only for hair color (highlights, balage). But the last appointment I had in April was really disappointing. I felt as though the stylist I had was very rough with my hair and was not very nice for a majority of the appointment especially towards the end. I believe it is because of my hair length and thickness (which is nothing crazy) made the appointment and my highlights very time consuming. It was just a weird and uncomfortable vibe. I've been waiting to write this review because I still planned on continuing to use this business but as of now I want more blonde in my hair and find myself not wanting to make my appointment here anymore.

I had shown him a picture of what I wanted, and he had told me he could do it even though his station looked more prepared for "shave and a haircut," and when he was done with his butchery he said, "You can style it yourself.
