I ordered some headliner material from Ebay first for $45, which stated it was meant for an Audi. It didnt match, so I returned it. Headliner Magic has a website that shows it has pretty close to OEM material, but for twice the amount at $80. So I thought, I would just pay the extra and get the correct material from Headliner Magic. Nope. Headliner Magic sent me the EXACT same material that I bought from Ebay that was crappy and cheap China junk. So now I have to ship the material back to Headliner Magic. I sent them 2 emails, (according to their website, you need to get an approval email first before sending anything back for a refund) about 3 days ago and they havent responded back. I might need to go to my bank and file a claim if I want to get my money back. Headliner Magic is a scam.....stay away. read more

Warning about HeadlinerMagic I strongly advise against ordering online. I purchased an order for 144' x 60' stretch sued headliner with foam backing and received 7 days later. I then noticed i needed 2 yards of NO FOAM BACKING for my project. A second order was placed for the 2. After not receiving the second product for multiple weeks i requested multiple times through email and their website for an estimated arrival time with NO response. I finally requested a refund after not receiving the second product for several weeks and was refunded only for the second product. Seing that i could not use the first product without the second, I reached out multiple times requesting a refund for the first produce explaining it was still unused in original packing. It has been 28 days since i have recieved the first product with no response on refunding/returning the product. According the website it states exactly: "We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase." Their lack of communication and accountability has been extremely frustrating. Please be cautious before making any purchases from them. read more

I worked with Marcus (The owner, President, and CEO) over the past few days to arrange the repair of the headliner in our 2011 VW GTI. The car is now my sister's since I plan on buying a new Jeep at the end of the week. The headliner has needed repair for a long time, and it just felt right to at least repair it for my sister before I gave her the car. Marcus was extremely prompt in his correspondence and was very accommodating to my hectic schedule. Initially my sister was going to head out to the shop to have the installation done, but it turns out I had MLK off, which was unexpected. I asked Marcus if would be possible to have the install done today. He replied promptly and said he'd be up at the shop and if I wanted to have the work done, he'd be more than happy to work on it himself. I hopped in the car and headed over immediately. Please remember that you're heading to an auto workshop. This is a place where work is done, so don't expect a ton of accommodations. There's a lobby to wait in, free WiFi, Netflix if you want it, a restroom to use, and free bottles of water. That should be enough since you won't be waiting too long. All I needed was a place to sit, and there are two comfortable couches to hang out on. It's all about the quality of work being done here, and the service and the work was extremely high quality. Marcus was also willing to install some audio dampening material around a part of my VW that rattled a lot when I used my sub. The materials used matched the interior of the VW exactly (VW Anthracite). The work took about 2-3 hours, which was precisely the expectation he gave me upfront. Periodically he would pop into the lobby and give me a brief update on the status of the job. When they were finished, Marcus explained the changes and let me inspect the work. It looked brand new! I had forgotten what the hell my interior car light looked like, it had been so long. I also tested the audio and dampening material, and it solved the rattling that had been an issue for years. I was quoted an extremely fair price, and the price matched the quote at the very end of the job as well. I gave him a tip for doing the dynamat work for me. As I was driving home, I listening to the system and it sounded the best that it has in the past two years of ownership. No more rattling during heavy bass music. I've had a ton of dynamat installed already, but there was this one place that gave me trouble as time went on. I was a little disappointed in myself for not taking care of this a lot sooner, and I kiiiiinda wanted to keep the car so I could enjoy the better audio quality, but a deal is a deal! A long review, yes, but a good business and a good businessman require a good review. I'm hoping I don't need to see them again since the work was so good (it's also backed by a 1 year guarantee) but at the very least I would leave some positive feedback. Thanks again Marcus! One place in Plano wouldn't touch my car, and another wanted more than it would have cost to buy all new pieces from a VW dealer. Came across Headliner Magic after some Google searching, saw pictures of VWs on their web site, and stopped in to get a look and quote. The guys are nice, the shop is pretty simple (but clean), and they have WiFi. Their quote, for a recover, with synthetic suede, was less than half of what the shop in Plano wanted. The finished product is excellent, was finished relatively quick (especially considering the complexity), and has earned me nothing but compliments. People who had this car before or having this car now know the headliner is a pain in the ass. Once it fell down, you cannot find any other way than replacing it.
