My favorite HEAD shop, get it! Every time I've gone here since moving to Colorado, they have exactly what I'm looking for! Customer service was terrible. Dude was on some kind of power trip and giving me attitude right from the moment I walked in.

Everything was great like it usually is. Haven't been there in about 3 years. Just wasn't the same atmosphere in there since then. The manage (blonde woman) was rude but everyone else was great and very helpful. The days with Mikey and lance running the store were the best because they were incredibly nice all the time. I went to this store to purchase glass. I was spoken to in a very cold way by a woman with glasses. I was made to feel like I shouldn't of even walked in. When a customer comes to an establishment, the staff should have great customer service and a pleasant attitude, and this HEADED WEST DOES. NOT!! The employee who helped me acted like she was mad to be at work, and ultimately made me feel like I shouldn't of even came in this store to spend my money. After realizing that the staff at Headed West did not appreciate my business, I decided to drive down the block to POSITIVE VIBES GLASS SHOP and was treated like ROYALTY, and I HAPPILY GAVE MY MONEY TO POSITIVE VIBES GLASS SHOP, and the staff was super pleasant and happy to see me at their store! What a difference compared to how low level I was treated at Headed West!! I WILL NEVER GO TO HEADED WEST EVER AGAIN, and I will not be recommending this store to anyone the way I used to. DO NOT GO TO HEADED WEST UNLESS YOU LIKE GETTING BAD SERVICE AND EMPLOYEES THAT ACT LIKE THEY DONT WANT TO BE THERE. I'm not gonna lie I loved the atmosphere walking in but the artwork on the building is spectacular. Alice is the bees knees. However when I expressed I'm a glass collector of over 150 glass pieces and I made the terrible mistake of disrespecting the state by calling their water pipes " bongs " how incredibly embarrassing it was to be blatantly corrected using my freedom of speech. Especially since there were other customers in the store. I almost would never come back here again if it weren't for the nice gentleman who help me right before they closed for like an hour lol. I felt bad I was making him work on his last hour, and he was very knowledgeable. However to be completely honest, the staffs customer service was off putting and incredibly inconsiderate to me spending MY money. I never once said I had a specific price range yet the employee decided to tell me what i did and didn't say.. I admit I had asked a lot of questions and I did not want to spend an extreme amount of money but I never said I'm trying to spend x amount of dollars. When the employee told me he did not show me a glass piece cause HE didn't think It would be in MY price range, I was fully insulted. You have to follow some rules! But be subtle whisper to the customer hey don't use the b word don't make it known and give me several times to make the mistake, it was very humiliating when I am someone who spends a lot of money on the glass industry in Colorado. It was really a great shop but the customer service tonight was incredibly off putting and at least I'm not a bad person where I won't come back but will not work with those employees again. Really friendly and nice. We didn't feel rushed when looking at glass, and it was a bonus they had incense. Great variety of prices and pieces. We shopped at many places and they didn't have extra bowls to fit glass, but this shop had plenty. We found an amazing glass piece and we will be back. First off, Headed West always has everything I need. I go there all the time for hookah supplies and shisha, and I can get everything in one stop; which is pretty rare for about every other head shop in the Englewood/Denver area. They know what they're selling and they're very educated about what they sell. As far as hookah goes, this is also really rare for a head shop, so major props there! Also, the staff are all really friendly, energetic and it comes across that they really love being at Headed West, so every time you go in you can expect a really great and welcoming environment. Another note about staff - they're honest. So if a product you're interested in isn't really a good fit for your needs, they'll be open and tell you, and then can recommend something else. I've had terrible experience with this at a few other head shops, so it's MUCH appreciated. Definitely would recommend, I've been going there for years for many reasons. read more

I drive by Headed West all the time and it is hard to not notice the striking artwork painted on the outside of the building. I had a need for some new glass so I decided to explore. This store is so quaint and comforting. Incense and oils fill the nostrils upon entering. Cases and cases of blown glass items, you are sure to find what you are looking for. Headed West sports some gorgeous pieces and a wide price range. I was immediately overwhelmed by the copious selection because I had no idea what I even wanted! I was quickly helped by an enthusiastic, talkative girl who picked out the most beautiful pipe for me. It is from a local glass blower and absolutely unique. Green striped metallic with ribs and finger grips, totally cool! I'm a lefty, so usually the selection is smaller for me. Headed West was having there "pipetober fest" bogo sale and the gorgeous pipe happened to be 20% off! Score! My total was inexpensive and my purchase was priceless. I can't wait to come back here and find another treasured pipe for my collection. Amazing merchandise, wonderful customer service and chill atmosphere makes Headed West a favorite on my list. read more

I love this place!!! They always have new and unique things for you to browse through! The thing we get most there is the incense, could I buy it elsewhere? Yes! Why do I buy it here? I purchase a lot of pieces but every time I come to this location I have problems, employees are consistently rude with the exception of Matt. Purchased a bubbler and it had a slow leak- they told me over the phone they've been having problems with the bubblers at several Headed West locations and that they would help me when I come in. I come in and they test the function and find a small crack he tells me I can go to pet smart to put aquarium glue on it. If they are knowingly having problems with these pieces why are they unwilling to help? Don't waste your time here go to Marleys off broadway or literally anywhere else! read more

No exaggeration: the BEST Headshop in Denver! I hate going to head shops, especially looking for specific pieces feeling like i'm at a used car lot. Not these guys. Their prices, and customer service will have you feeling like family. Event: I was in need of two pieces on an e-cig and they ended up looking around and mixing pieces to suit my needs perfectly, along with selling an item without a sticker at a price that we both knew was below what any other head shop would have sold. Seriously. From the selection I saw prices here were just as good as online, not including that discounted piece i got (which definitely costs more online). A lady by the name of 'Jan' if i'm not mistaken, and a tall man with long hair and glasses (i believe he had glasses), both helped me. They sale expired vape juice and don't even tell you. It tastes like shit and tried to exchange it and would let us they said ya those are expired well you should tell people before they buy it. Over priced kratom as well don't have the powder form I suggest people don't go here for these items go to parker pipes and tobacco nice people and don't sale expired stuff. read more

I bought a bowl piece at 8:45pm, the employee dropped it while it was wrapped up but still sold it to me since it had not broken. I paid almost $40 for it. About 12 hours later I picked up the bowl piece and it snapped in half. I went to the store to see what they would do about it, they offered a 25% discount on another piece. I just paid $40 for a piece that did not even last one day and was told they could not replace it. So I guess that was the last time I spend my money at Heading West. read more
