Let me start off by saying that I NEVER once in my life wrote a review for someone. I am now for the first time because I have never been so pleased with a service before. I came into Niki with the worst hair cut/color I have ever had. I quite literally couldn't look at myself in the mirror and this is after getting my hair done professionally. Niki ended up saving my hair in a matter of hours. I don't know how she did it but not only did she correct the mistake of the previous salon I went to, but she managed to leave me with the look I was originally trying to get. In the end I was left with a natural looking balayage that was well blended and complimented my features beautifully (quite the opposite of the streaky green under toned hair I had before). I could not have been more pleased with the results. She also fixed the horrible choppy hair cut I was previously given... which I thought would be impossible. Not only was her talent and artistic ability above and beyond but her personality was so warm and genuine that I felt like I could talk to her for days. I didn't feel like she was simply making small talk to get through the workday. I could tell that she loved what she did for a living and that she really cared a lot about her customers. The whole experience felt so personal while still remaining professional and I loved that. Now I am rocking my new hair and loving it more and more. Thanks for saving my hair and giving me my confidence back, I will be back again soon! read more

I've been having Stylist Matt Rezaiyan cut, color, and style my impossible hair for about a year now. I met Matt while shopping, we spoke about my hair, where I had been having it colored (formerly Jose' Eber)---and Matt told me, strait up, he could do it better for less money. So I gave him a chance. Boy am I lucky that I did. I can't live without him now! I have dark brown wavy hair, which I died blonde a decade ago. The folks in Beverly Hills could never get my platinum color right. Since I've been seeing Matt regularly, I have the most perfect, strait, lavender blonde hair that I have ever seen. Its better than Madonna's was, better than Christina Aguilara's, better that Gwen Stefani's--and I get compliments on it CONSTANTLY. And, believe it or not, its healthy. I LOVE my hair, and I love Matt for finally getting it right, listening to me, and giving me the hair I have always dreamed of. And he gets it right. Every time, on the first try. Matt: if you ever read this, please know that you are a godsend! Lynn read more

I had the best experience at the Salon Beauty Bar! I love that they have parking in the back, super convenient. The Salon itself is very clean and comfortable. It's been years since I've been to a nice Salon that cared about the condition of my hair which was terribly damaged! They told me what I needed to do to get my hair healthy, gave me a great product and tons of tips when it came to hair care. Jenn S. did my cut and color, the cut was amazing, just what I wanted. She took the time to make sure it was perfect and I got bangs, unlike the last place I went to, when I told the hairstylist I wanted bangs she said I look better without them, funny cause this person didn't even know me. And my color is perfect I have had so many compliments, I am blonde but wanted to go a little lighter but not look like a bottle blonde and it looks so natural. I loved everything about my experience. Thank you Jenn and Niki. read more

The worst Salon ever.... We had an appointment with Marco at 5:00 pm, and it was 5:300 that we were still stood up. The guy represented him as the owner was training Marco how to blow dry a woman's hair and using dirty word to teach him and not letting him to do our hair.(my mom and me) All the salon were yelling at each other and using foul language to each other. We left the salon without getting any service because there was a girl crying of her hair was falling of burning by a strong product. This is a true story that we reported to state board and I dont know what happened next, but we didnt like their environment and the only reason we went there was just they had a beautiful salon. but the service was awful. Also I just find out that the five star reviews are all fake and written by their staff. Be careful... read more

"Who's the fairest of them all?" I said as I stared, Looking into the mirror after an epic experience from my stylist Niki Foy. It began, feeling relaxed as my head was cleaned and massaged bringing me to what felt like a world where my head was caressed by a million fingers. I awoke, and was brought to a chair where my inability to convey my desired style was controlled by Niki's eye to an artists canvas. Straight out of the work of Tim Burton's Edward Scissorhands, she portrayed an equal quality to the man with scissors for hands; attention to detail evident. And like the unconscious need to stare at a Van Gough and marvel at it's beauty so to was the work of art that was finished. Thanks to Niki for a great experience and the ability to escape for a moment with a happy result. read more

I was driving on Ventura blvd,i needed a haircut badly. I went in the salon, i wasn't planning to stay, just wanted to pick up a business card. But i said to myself, why don't I just stay? And I did...I was lucky enough to meet Gaby a European hairstylist, who started to work on my hair. The staff are great--real sweethearts and totally adorable--and the services are worth the extra $. You get what you pay for, so if you want something cheap, go to Serenity Salon two doors down. Seriously, though, Jozef at BB is totally worth it. read more
