Roxanna shine salon is the name of a person, it is not a place. I booked with her on her site thinking I would show up at a place called Roxanna shine salon at 11 AM on a Saturday, and I could not find the place anywhere. I called the number, and got someone on the phone who didn't seem to understand what I was talking about when I said that I was lost and that I could not find the salon. Then she said she would contact Roxanna and let her know I was here 15 minutes early for my appointment and that she would help me find the place. I circled the shopping mall two more times before walking in to a restaurant to ask where the salon is by address instead of my name. It was now 11 AM, time for my appointment, and I was unable to walk in the doorway where I was told to go, so someone let me in and told me to sit down upstairs, and Roxanna would be right with me. After 25 minutes of not being seen or talk to at all, I asked the woman who let me in if I needed to check in with someone. She told me to go downstairs and check in with reception. When I went to the reception desk, no one was there. I stood around for another 10 minutes before a really nice guy named Danny asked if I was waiting for someone and if I had been helped yet. I told him that I was waiting for Roxanna, and he told me he would call and text her to check in. After waiting another five minutes, he told me that she never called back and never texted back and that he was going to check around the salon to see if there was anyone who could see me right away or in the next few minutes. Mind you, this was now 40 minutes into my 11 AM appointment time, and it was at a salon called Daniel Jordan salon. There was nothing on Roxana shine salon's website that pointed to the fact that I would actually be going to a salon called Daniel Jordan salon. Once Danny checked with everyone at the salon, he returned to me and said "I'm so sorry there is no one that's available to see you right now. We could possibly see you later today. Please take down the number". I am so grateful to Danny for his help, but this was an awful experience from the moment I arrived in the parking lot and couldn't find Roxanna shine salon. What a scam to have Roxanna shine salon as her own Yelp page since she is not a salon she is a hairdresser and she was not available for her appointment and never showed, never called. Never responded to Danny. Really stupid that she would have a website where you can book appointments and then never show or call or give any heads up about that appointment being at a different salon let alone the fact that she is not available? Just couldn't show up? She was a complete no-show and ruined about an hour and a half of my Saturday that I'll never get back, thanks a lot. read more

I have been going to Mileydy for a year now. No one else is allowed to touch my hair. She does amazing color, taking me from blonde, to brunette, to auburn! She has done my updo's for events, cut my hair into a more manageable state for when I entered my masters program and wouldn't have the time for upkeep. Alisha is great! She came to Mammoth to do my hair for my wedding and knocked it out of the park. She is my mom's regular hair person and my mom had her booked to come so she did mine as well. I was so happy with my final look. I have some breakage due to lots of highlighting and so my bangs were sort of a disaster (unrelated to Alisha). We didn't have scissors available so someone lent Alisha eyebrow scissors and she magically trimmed and transformed my bangs with those things. It was unbelievable! I have really curly short hair, I wanted a beach wave more tamed curl. It came our better than I could've imaged. I wore a flower crown and a cathedral length veil pinned at the bottom.
