The team of people who cared for my sister did an amazing job. The pre-op registrant, nurses and anesthesiologists were wholly informative about the procedures and were very considerate of her comfort and emotions. Overall, the easy entrance, ample parking, attractive building, clean interior and thoughtful staff made this visit an excellent experience.

Dr Mark Middendorf. And that was IT. I'm sorry but I feel like after this office was bought out? I was treated VERY VERY POORLY, unfairly and wronged. I referred many, many people here over the years. As well as my mother having done so when this was a teeny office with skylights. And now? To be treated like I'm dirt?? This was back in 2012. A week goes by, no call back. I called and left messages on 4 different occasions over the next month with no return call. I even called one of their other offices to see if they may be able to help. They called the other office and said, "it's on the doctor's desk". Still no call back. After a month of radio silence, I started over with another office. I'm a patient person and always understand that there are often other priorities that can push back a non urgent case. But to be left unanswered after so many attempts to get care for my kid, just unacceptable.

I presented my insurance card and was assured by staff that my procedure would be covered. I have been notified that Dr Katz was out of my network for at least a month prior to my appointment. I am now on the hook for hundreds of dollars on something that should have been covered mostly if not all by the ACA. My appointment was preventive and had I known I'd be charged, I would have canceled and found a different doctor. Always be sure to call your insurance prior to any doctor appointments. I've learned the websites aren't always up to date and the office staff can mislead you.

Best recommendation I've ever received -- Dr Katz rocks! I also must say her staff are stellar too -- the administrative assistant is very good about returning calls or messages, and her nurse is so sweet and helpful. While an annual exam isn't something I think anyone exactly looks forward to, I'll say that going here is such a non-ordeal I really don't mind it at all. And it turns out that a couple of my friends go to her as well - they're as big fans as I am.

I had a bad experience in the past with a male ob/gyn who I later found out was pushing exams, medications and even surgeries that weren't necessary. He eventually lost his medical for inappropriate behavior with a patient; luckily I don't have to worry about that with the doctors at For Women. Be careful with who you trust with your bodies!
