H2T fixed in about 4 months most of my frozen shoulder range of motion issues. Still tender and have more work to do on my own, but each visit was productive and friendly - and I did a fair amount of stretching outside of PT to help resolve. Dr. Lundy and the entire staff gets a 5 out of 5 - and I worked with them a few years ago to resolve a tight glute issue and solved that in about a month or so. Well done and see you next time H2T! Way better than expected! This is the 2nd injury I have come here to rehabilitate, and I am pushing past limits I wasn't sure I could! I attest most of my success to Brent. He is an Amazing PT that knows his stuff, yet humble. He find your issue; works on a plan with you, then helps you get there. For me, because of my 2nd injury, I was having problems with the basic exercises. Brent custom tailored the workout to me to get me to the next level. I have nothing but gratitude for Brent. My 1st injury, which I still have a bulged disc between my T9-T10, rarely bothers me. I would have never got to this point without Brent's guidance. Not to mention his physique is a goal for me to model after. The guy looks like Michael Phelps with a beard!!! Who doesn't want to look like that? Anyways, I totally recommend this establishment, but Brent is the PT you want. If he left this place, I'd follow. In my opinion, he literally gave a better assessment than my Orthopedic Surgen. Reading some positive reviews, I called Head 2 Toe early January to help me over come an achilles injury due to training for the LA Marathon. Nina, Jim and (CJ last minute) were great and helped me get back on track through a range of exercises and massage. Over a 9 week period, I had a few other minor aches and pains (common at 45) that we also worked through. Proud to say that I did finish my first Marathon, which I do not feel I would have achieved had it not been for the treatment & support of the team. Fantastic Operation! I've been to other physical therapy places (such as BCO) that feel more like a factory and don't have the personal touch. At other places, you don't get to work with the qualified therapist as they pawn you off to someone who just watches you use the machines. At Head-2-Toe, my qualified therapist (Trisha) works with me one-on-one every visit. The combination of message and stretching exercises has my shoulder making great progress each & every visit. They have a friendly & efficient operation. If you need to go on a waitlist for your preferred therapist, they are excellent at following up. After tearing my ACL, I was looking for a physical therapy location close to work so that I could begin my therapy in preparation for surgery. I had my initial sessions with Jim and then had sessions with some of the other therapists. After my surgery I continued therapy sessions until I was cleared by my surgeon. I have to say that thanks to all the therapists at Head2Toe my surgery went well, and my recovery could not have gone better. I am so thankful to all the staff as everyone is knowledgeable in what they do and were so pleasant to work with. I have recommended Head2Toe to co-workers and during the months I was in my therapy I ran into several other co-workers who also chose Head2Toe for their therapy. 100% Highly Recommended... Over the years, I've been to 3 other local Physical Therapy clinics, but this IS the place, football fields above the rest. Why? My past experiences rehabbing injuries consisted of a standard regimen of heat, brief massage, standardized exercises followed by ice. Not bad. But Head 2 Toe customizes their approach to your specific ailment, including carefully prescribed exercises. I worked with Jim, which was like having a top notch personal coach. Instead of prescribing cookie-cutter exercises, Jim really takes his time to solicit and listen to your symptoms, observe your range of motion, consider the best exercises, and closely monitor your execution. (At another PT clinic, college interns loosely watched clients do "cookie-cutter" exercises). And definitely DO NOT hesitate to ask Jim about other wellness matters... He is a wealth of knowledge. For example, Jim shared evidence-based nutritional advice and I implemented several positive changes in my diet. A sports enthusiast, Jim gives specific expert training advice tailored to specific sports (mine are triathlon sports). It is evident that Jim sincerely cares about his patients... Several times, I observed him patiently taking extra time to ensure his elderly patients understood everything. Lastly, but still super important to me, Head 2 Toe is very well run... clean, easy parking (strip mall right off Aviation Blvd.), appointment reminders, and no long waits. I decided to go to Head 2 Toe Physical therapy to recover from a MCL surgery. I am an active golfer, tennis player and volleyball player and I was serious about returning to these activities as soon as humanly possible. The staff immediately understood my ambitions and started me on the aggressive, albeit safe, therapy plan to get me back on the course/court. I really appreciated the exercises, stretches and steady pace of the routine specifically customized to my recovery plan. I absolutely love my therapist but as I watch everyone in there, they all seem fantastic. I like the small intimate setting and the personal attention. This place is great! There are better PT offices in the area. One of the therapists, is hardly fit and actually looks like they themselves could use some help. Therapists aren't very concerned with your problems or your results. Went through routines with no feedback or questions. Just getting through the hour to get paid. I'm disappointed by the way they handled a past due amount. A phone call would have been nice but instead Head 2 Toe had a collection company come after me. First call to me, they threatened my 17 year old with bad credit. All for $100 because we were unaware of missing insurance copayments. I won't be returning. read more

Something ouchy & your doc says Physical Therapy will fix it? Come see Tricia & be made optimal. She is extremely thorough, spends at least 45 minutes with me every visit, notes our progress and treatments on my chart. We do all kinds of activities to get my knee back to tip-top. She also gives a knarly but awesome IT massage to keep me from tightening up after our many exercises. Parking here can get a bit full some days - not sure why - so come a few minutes early. Free candy at front desk, as well as sweetness herself, Sochi the administration/insurance liason. Bathroom in the back is fresh and tidy. I recommend Tricia 100% for physical therapy and the team here for my improvement in my quality of walking/life! read more

This place is great!!! I sprained my MCL and my doctor recommended going to Head 2 Toe. So glad I did. I worked with Jim who was extremely knowledgeable, super friendly and really cared about getting me back to good health. Over the first few sessions, he determined my knee issues were being caused by weak and tight muscles throughout my legs so we then focused on strengthening and loosening up those muscles. My knee is now back to 100% thanks to a combination of sessions at the facility plus stretching at home. Everyone at Head 2 Toe from Jim to the other PTs to the office staff are all extremely friendly and professional. Definitely recommend! read more

Went to Head 2 Toe over 10 years ago for a back spasm, which they fixed. I still do the stretches that they told me to do today, and haven't had another back spasm. I now see them because of a shoulder problem and they are the best. I have had every one of the physical therapists and they are all great. Some may be better at one thing or another, but they are all very good and professional. I would recommend Head 2 Toe to family members and friends. read more

I can't recommend this place highly enough, especially working with Lisa. She takes the time to really get to know you, is super knowledgeable with over 20 years PT experience, and finds the root of your problem. The facility is clean and well stocked with all sorts of modern equipment. The scheduling front desk crew is quick to respond and sends out reminders for upcoming appointments. I went here for Physical Therapy. i wanted to be happy here it's so close to home. Machines and tables are not wiped down between clients. That's my biggest complaint. I was wiping it down myself. I was going regularly. I had an appointment & called and told them I had a massage the day before & was so sore and felt bruised. (I literally was bruised). I told the girl at the desk that I needed to see my Orthopedic Surgeon. I saw him the next day. My Surgeon recommended a knee replacement & gave my knee cortisone. He sent me to their Back Surgeon regarding my pain. I was going for therapy for a broken femur. Did they expect me to come to therapy in severe pain? They billed me a $60 cancellation fee--that upset me. I was not a no show --I was in pain --this is Physical Therapy they should understand pain. BTW --The Back Surgeon sent me for Water Therapy which is less wear & tear on the body. read more

When I first walked in, I didn't have a full range of motion in my neck. After a few weeks working with Lisa, my pain dramatically lessened and my range increased. She knew my limits and knew when i could give more. Lisa is patient, kind, attentive, and really knows her stuff! Prior to coming to this place, I had gone to another PT place where the therapists rotated based on availability. Though that was fine, I really preferred one dedicated therapist to walk alongside me on my healing journey. Lisa fit what I wanted and needed. I'm thankful for her and highly recommend this place/her for more of a personalized therapy. Brent is very good as well. Professionally trained and experienced. First time I am reviewing a non-restaurant facility but I had such a great experience that I thought I would share. Recently I had an issue with my knee and my Dr. recommended I visit JIM LUNDY at Head 2 Toe . I meet with Jim and explained my situation...he was caring, attentive and most of all proactive in getting me back to where I need to be. Jim is not only a great Physical Therapist but he also happens to be an incredibly nice guy. Had plenty of laughs that went along with the sweat and pain from his exercise regimen. I injured my knee playing basketball and had to have a meniscus surgery late last year. This was the first, serious injury/surgery I've ever had so I was really nervous about what rehabbing it would entail. I'm a father of 4 and pretty active guy so getting back to being able to play with my kids was a top priority. The team at Head 2 Toe was super flexible, schedule wise, and really helpful in helping understand what was going on with my knee and how to rebuild strength in a safe way to prevent me from re-injuring it. I highly recommend this physical therapy location. I was there a year ago for sciatica treatment, and now for recovery from shoulder surgery. This business is unique for this age in that you get taken care of by a true Doctor of Physical Therapy, not just an aid. Most large chain PT businesses hand you off to an aid. I get a full 45 min to one hour of one on one with a PT and it has made all the difference in my recovery. Each visit the PT adjusts the treatment and exercises and gives me a print out of the exercises to do at home. I have experienced a noticeable improvement day by day. At my 4 week visit with my surgeon he said my range of motion was well ahead of schedule. Much of this is due to the PT paying attention and adjusting for my needs, and also that I am a patient who actually does the exercises at home. My daughter is a PT in a different city and she said that the level of treatment I am receiving is definitely above average. It is difficult to run a business like this with the way insurance pays out. For my shoulder surgery I get the PT covered by insurance, but for the sciatica I paid out of pocket and felt it was worth it. Wherever you go your success will be partly up to you following through at home, and partly due to having enough one on one time with a true PT who can do the muscle manipulation and mobilization as well as the exercises with you. Living with pain is no fun, so do it right. read more
