I recently placed an order online with House of Fine Writing. I purchased a fountain pen, a bottle…read moreof ink and some ink cartridges. I also added an ink converter to my order, as the description for the pen wasn't clear on whether or not there was one included. The owner contacted me by phone not too long afterwards, wanting to clarify if I was looking for an extra converter or if I wanted it for the pen I purchased. He explained that the pen did come with one converter, so if I didn't want an additional one, he would refund my credit card for that item. He also mentioned that they were out of stock on one of the other items I had selected and offered a replacement. I am really impressed with the customer service here, and their selection is great. As soon as in-person shopping is allowed again, I'll be heading over to add some additional items to my ever-growing collection of pens, ink and stationery. In the meantime, I will be browsing the online selection for my next order.

Yes it was pricey but I now have some artwork that I would be proud to showcase in any room of any house. Thanks Frame It On Bloor!

They were very knowledgeable and are very helpful about all the different features and specs of faucets, tubs, shower kits, and all things related to plumbing hardware. You would not think about all these details until you have to buy the right faucet such as the length of the spout, the angle of the water spray, the value type that controls the faucet, the finish of the hardware, etc. You could literally browse for hours here with the amount of hardware that is packed in each aisle. They were able to walk us through all of this during our appointment and we left more informed. At the end, they sent us a quote based on our preliminary choices of plumbing hardware in a timely manner. I thought the experience here was very positive and can recommend people check them out.

In the meantime, over the years I have replaced our builder grade stuff with Taps toilets (Mirabelle, Kohler, Toto), pedestal sink and faucet. I can just as easily get what I want online without having to put up with dismissive behaviour. These types of stores are like dinosaurs, without the recognition that art supplies are very easily available in the much more extensive and often more affordable digital marketplace.
