You won't find it at big box nurseries! & if they do have it, be prepared to pay $$$. I arrived & had to call so someone could open the gate. Kinda weird, but hey I didn't have to wait too long so that was fine. I told the lady what I was there for & OMG the nursery is massive ! She said the nursery is almost 3 acres. So there's a lot to see !! She showed the me the agaves & I ended up taking home a larger size (15 gal) than the advertised 5 gallon. The price ($55) was awesome for the size ! All the plants looked healthy so that was a plus. I also purchased the largest string of pearls I have ever seen EVER at a nursery. I already have this plant at home but wow I couldn't help myself !! It was also the variegated variety too. For the size, the price of $85 was very fitting. My only complaint is I wish they didn't charge tax if you're paying with Zelle. Like come on, the money is going straight to your bank account. Also from my experience with taking home larger plants, at other nurseries they wrap the pot so the plant doesn't make a mess in the car. So it would have been nice if that would have been done here. They would be roaming around, making the whole encounter feel so cozy and magical. I loved seeing all the different flowers and plants they have to offer, as it is always a huge inspiration to discover something new and beautiful. My friend and I went home with the mimosa pudica (small and large) and some fuschia (also small and large sizes). They were around $8-$15. Some were $12. They were overpriced compared to other landscape estimates I received, but we chose their…read morelandscaping services because they offered a year of interest free credit option. We hired them for a full backyard Reno with full wall of ficus trees, full DG backyard with gravel edges, and a wood fence. Everything was going smoothly with scheduling and communication. When the actual work got started, I noticed the DG was not high-quality. It contained a lot of large rocks. Also, they were not digging out enough dirt before laying the DG. I had to bring that up to the foreman and they did dig up some more dirt before laying the DG. When the work was done, a foreman did a quick walk-through with me and I thought everything looked good. We were told not to walk on the wet DG for a day or two. So two days later when I did a better inspection, I started to notice a lot of shotty work. Specifically with the bender board dividing the gravel and I noticed that they used really small nails for the wooden fence. They did come back a month later to fix the DG because there were areas that were "bouncy", as if not enough DG was laid down. They had to dig up big rocks that were preventing the DG from compacting and they laid more DG on some areas. They also tried to fix some bender board problems, but they did a really horrible job. Three months later, some wood planks on our wood fence start curving and popping up. I called the company because our DG and our fence are under a year warranty. Jake asked me to email him with photos and he said he would call back to schedule a day for repair. Since then I have not heard back from them; they have completely ghosted me. I waited a month then I started calling and no one will pick up the phone. I've left messages and I sent text messages to project manager, Amanda, who was great at communication at first, but now has completely ghosted me as well. Meanwhile, we're still paying monthly for this backyard that is falling apart way too quickly. I'm going to just hire someone to fix the fence before it damages further. I would not recommend them again. Completely overpriced for what you get.

Yosef Is the "Miracle Man" for Fruit Trees!…read more I have two lime trees and a fig tree, and this year they faced more than their share of problems. My fig tree became infested with black fig fly, and during the summer heat, both lime trees developed infestations of citrus leaf miner and aphids. I called Yosef of Organic Fruit Tree Los Angeles, whom I affectionately call "the miracle man." He has treated my fruit trees on previous occasions, and once again, he did not disappoint. Yosef arrived right on time, assessed the extent of the problems, pruned and treated the trees, and gave me a specific watering schedule to follow. The results with the lime trees have been remarkable--they are now full of fruit, and the leaves look green and healthy again. Unfortunately, we had to destroy all of this year's figs because most had been affected by the black fig fly. Yosef carefully pruned the tree, removed and bagged the affected fruit, and treated the surrounding soil. I am hopeful that, with his care and recommendations, my fig tree will come back healthy next year. I cannot say enough good things about Yosef. His knowledge of fruit trees is immense, and just as importantly, he is always willing to explain what is happening and share information and resources so you can better care for your trees going forward. If you are having problems with your fruit trees, there is no one I would recommend more highly than Yosef and Organic Fruit Tree Los Angeles.

A very healthy, lush avocado tree then caught my eye, but I knew that it took two varieties for proper pollination. I chose a Reed avocado and on the spot he grafted another variety onto the tree. The chairs quickly sagged because of poor bases (I found sturdier chairs much cheaper at IKEA) and the screws come loose very easily making the chairs prone to instability and breakage.
