We had a buffet, started with cocktail Hour and served coconut shrimp in a honey drizzle that was the best I've ever had Buffet consisted of pasta primavera in a light tomato sauce, broccoli as gratin, mashed potatoes, chicken francaise And prime rib Staff were so attentive. Salad and rolls were served at the table The wedding organizer Jamie did an incredible job and took care of every single detail Prices were very reasonable for a wedding Would definitely recommend

CCC is known for more of a relaxed vibe with a great golf course, pool, indoor restaurant, and outdoor tiki bar. My friend is a member, so I've played numerous times over the past two years and always have a fun time. It's one of those courses where I look forward to playing each and every hole, as there are many opportunities to score well even if your initial tee shot goes a bit off track. The indoor restaurant and special occasion room are really nice, but the locker rooms/bathrooms are in need of some TLC as they're showing their age. Note: They are *strict* on keeping your shirt tucked in at all times. It's a bit contrary to the more relaxed vibe, but it is what it is.

Our granddaughter got married and had her reception at NewHill on 5/22/26. We were the first wedding under the club's new ownership. This was a large wedding that utilized the pond area for the ceremony, the deck for the open bar & appetizer hour and the large ballroom for the reception. Everything was flawless and that says a lot when there were many new employees, chefs & cooks, bartenders and management testing their skills for the first time. The original booking was with the previous ownership under the Hillside brand and we worried about the transition. Believe us when we tell you that there was no need to worry. The whole day was perfect. NewHill Country Club has completely erased any previous experience you may have had when they were Hillside.

I can't say I wasn't warned. My friend and I were scrambling on Friday night to find a golf course…read morewith open tee times for Saturday around 11:30 am. We found Hillside through a third party site and reserved an 11:30 am tee time. When we pulled into the large parking lot, there was a sign that said "Course Advisory: Temporary Conditions Improvements Underway OPEN for the season" - from then I knew I was in for a surprise. My friend got a cart for himself, but I prefer to walk so his total for 9 holes + cart was $41 and my total for 9 holes no cart was $30. As a golfer who only plays for fun and likes bird watching, I was awestruck at hole 1 when I watched three flocks of Canada geese fly a couple feet above my head to successfully touchdown into the pond nearby. A couple holes were in okay shape, but the majority were pretty beat up, with lots of crab grass, exposed dry dirt, and weeds on the fairway, cracks and sand on the greens, and missing women's tee indicators (holes 3 and 4). After poorly teeing off at hole 8 (a combination of skill and grass being too tall), my friend grew very frustrated and we decided to call it quits. The course has potential. Apparently, they're under new management so they plan on doing a complete makeover; I look forward to coming back in a couple years once the renovations are complete. I think they should have definitely charged less considering the conditions that course was in, somewhere around $20 was more fair.

Victoria took great care of us and created amazing cocktails! The steak was cooked to perfection and the vegetables were very crisp! Nothing worse than a soggy veggie! The view from the windows is of the vast green fields used for golfing. It is one of the most serene, picturesque views in town. All of the other guests are friendly and classy. This is a great addition to the town that doesn't have much more than pizza joints for dining. Can't wait to come back!

800th review! (Wedding Reception)…read more Milestones usually are associated with important things. For Yelp, you save your milestone review for important events, important dining experiences, etc. For my milestone review, I'm reviewing the Lebaron Hills Country Club. My BFF and her fiance tied the knot this past weekend in Massachusetts. The reception dinner was held at the Lebaron Hills CC. The Country Club boast a nice links style golf course that was the perfect backdrop to a Lakeville sunset. We took some great pictures with the sunset and golf course in the background. The course itself is a private course so a person like me would not have been able to play on it anyways. It looked nice from afar though. The clubhouse was nice, clean and very bright. The starter didn't mind us looking around inside Lebaron's golf shop and even hooked us up with some free ball markers from his own stash (not from the shop, don't get it twisted). I did purchase a hat clip with the Lebaron logo ball marker for use here in Cali! Now for the reception itself, it was marvelous. The food (I had the steak) was really good. The steak was a bit too cooked but I'm sure that's the norm for a reception, they're not looking to take orders and cook any rare steaks for anyone. The hors d'oeuvre were good too (crab cakes, scalloped wrapped in bacon and some beef skewers). Open bar for beer and wine. Nice reception and dining area, beautiful patio area and a stunning backdrop with a nice golf course. Congratulations to the new Bride and Groom...V and J, June 30, 2012. It was worth the trip all the way from Cali to MA.

I was there to cover a wedding photographer and I was there early so I can scout nice place for the photo shoots. The main function hall is nice and big. What I like are the parquet floors and the big oval chandeliers. The decorations on the tables are very nice too with big dinner plates for the guests. This room is adjacent to another big but a little smaller room. I do not remember about the food. So I would assume it is fair- not bad but nothing spectacular as I did not remember it.I do not recall having to call a Thorny Lea staff as never had any issues. I now remember the nice Christmas trees. That is memorable to me as they really spent money on it. I give Thorny LEa 4 stars. This is roland of roland video and photo out of Dedham. Cheers!!!

If you are an outsider, however, you'll surely feel even more like one during the busy seasons when all of the members are on their game and taking over the place they likely call "home" for 5-8 months out of the year.
