She promised she wouldn't go missing again and would finish the job right away. Two weeks later, the crew showed up and again put in one day of work. To this day, eight months later, the job is unfinished. Even worse, I paid an additional $1.7K that included an overpayment (her invoice was incorrect) of nearly $400. Debra has acknowledged I overpaid but says she's too broke to return the money. The quality of the work that was done is terrible: a path that was supposed to be level is not, another that was supposed to be straight is anything but that, metal path edges are wonky, and excavated soil was left all over the place, including on top of the crowns of established plants. I don't doubt that Debra can do good work but got the impression my job was small potatoes to her. I also got the impression she's manipulative, to put it mildly. Finally, it only belatedly occurred to me that Ms. Gear never represented to me that her business is licensed or insured. On jobs that require heavy lifting, mechanical equipment, etc: homeowner beware.

Their prices were competitive and their scheduling fit well with our plans. As a part of this project, they cleared out a wooded area behind our home and removed items left by some vagrants. Then they revitalized our garden areas by removing some old, tired junipers, and golden cypress. They planted new trees, added a rock border in front of the house and paved the apron next to the house. Everything looks fantastic! We will definitely be using them again in the near future. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for high quality work.

Several years ago, we had removed some old, dead trees from our property and found ourselves with…read morean awkward, large area. My husband and I were thinking about building a pond (ourselves) to beautify the space and decided to go look at this place to get some inspiration. Ha! Little did we know what was behind the red door with the giant orange koi on it !! We met Kevin and Mary that day and saw the two koi ponds and several additional water features they have there. The ponds are fairly large and the area behind the store is definitely a great place to get inspired to build a pond. Fortunately or unfortunately we fell in love with one of these ponds. Kevin and Mary are very easy to work with. They are able to design and build ponds to accommodate a budget. If you want to build your own pond, they have pumps, liner, plants, koi and any supplies you might need. Be forewarned that water features can be addictive;) We started with 6 koi and this past year had our first baby koi.
