I had just checked into my hotel and was looking for something nearby to eat when I came across it on Yelp and I've been hooked ever since. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, even taking the time to share helpful information about the area. The food? Absolutely outstanding. Consistently great every single time. This has been my go-to BBQ spot for years, and it's the first place I recommend to friends and family whenever they're craving good barbecue. It's about a 40-minute drive for me now, but honestly, I'll make that drive any day it's that worth it. It's more than just a restaurant to me at this point it's tradition. Every time I come home from deployment, this is my first stop. No matter how long I've been gone, this place always hits the same.

There is a large lot for parking. The restaurant has a lot of character and plenty of seating. They are cash only, so come prepared. The food is was just so so for me. Both the beef and pork bbq are pretty good, the beef being my preference. I was not a fan of the ribs. Mine were not really tender. I liked the sauce, but I do wish the meat itself had more seasoning.

I have been here several times to pick up food, but this was my first time actually going inside to order. The line was long around lunchtime, but it moved quickly. It is fast casual style, so you walk down the line choosing what you want and then pay at the register. I honestly had no idea that was how it worked before, so I was prepared to wait a while. I was pleasantly surprised at how efficient everything was. I was in and out much faster than expected. While putting my order together, the man helping me handed me a sample rib over the counter. I am a very socially awkward person and do not handle unexpected moments very gracefully, so I probably reacted a little awkwardly. That part was on me. The rib was GOOD though. He was very kind about my reaction and even handed me a napkin. The whole staff was friendly, asking how my week was going and checking in to make sure everyone was happy. Even though it was busy, they clearly care about customer service. The food was great. The garlic and green onion sausage had so much flavor, and the bananamisu was the perfect sweet finish. I originally went in hoping to order the BBQ oxtail, but they were sold out within two hours of opening, which honestly says a lot about how good they must be. I had also gone the day before around 7 PM and they had already closed because they were sold out for the day. Just a heads up that they do close early if they run out of food. Overall, great food, friendly staff, and quick service. I will definitely be back and hopefully I will finally catch the oxtail next time.

I got the pulled pork with macaroni and cheese and my husband got pulled pork with macaroni and cheese and coleslaw. Both meals came with cornbread. Everything was delicious and fresh! I went with the brisket dry, and my wife got hers wet, and both were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The smoke, the bark, the tenderness you can't go wrong either way. The mac and cheese and green beans are a must every time. That mac is creamy, cheesy, and especially good when you add a drizzle of their spicy BBQ sauce on top -- total game changer. My wife swears by the Alabama white sauce, while I like to mix the Mississippi and Maryland sauces for that perfect sweet-and-smoky kick. Between the sauce variety and how consistently good the food is, it's one of our go-to spots when we're craving BBQ done right. Mostly Friendly staff (the lady was kinda rushing me through my order and didnt make eye contact once) , quick service, and that patriotic vibe that makes Mission BBQ feel like more than just a restaurant..it's comfort food with purpose.

Ambiance is aesthetically pleasing with a country roadside shack motif. The bar area has TVs with sports and a great selection of craft beers and house specialty cocktails. The only drawback is that parking during peak working hours can be tricky with only street parking available as there are lots of small businesses and other restaurants in this area with the same issue. The Food is REALLY GOOD! I had the Pork & Pollock; a healthy lump of pulled pork with two pieces of battered and fried pollock, a cup of slaw and a side of your choice (I got the Cindy's Mac-n-cheese). I also added a side of their hushpuppies, and my only complaint is that my stomach was not big enough to finish it all. Tip: if your hushpuppies come out with their house made honey butter, just ask you will thank me latter. Various BBQ sauces are provided on the table for your meats and sides; my favorite was the sweet Memphis style. If you are in the area and hungry, I highly recommend finding a parking spot and swinging in!

This small family owned business has something going on with their value offerings of Filipino cuisine. Now since it is a smaller operation and setup, it does not have the same variety as other bigger Filipino restaurant establishments in the area but it does not lack the flavor. I stopped in for some BBQ sticks and they are reasonably priced. I also noticed they had a full menu with pancit and items that are assumed to be made to order. They do not have much selection but I'm sure with time they will expand. I ordered the chicken and pork bbq sticks and it came out quickly. The meats were tender and marinated and the sauces of vinegar and chili sauce were a perfect match! I even placed an advance order for a future gathering due to the value of it. I will make sure to stop there every time I am in the area for some goodies. Please give it a shot everyone and give this small business a boost!

The food itself was good, and I liked being able to sample a variety of items without spending a lot of money. One thing that caught me off guard was that it's located inside a gas station. That's not necessarily a deal breaker, but it wasn't quite what I expected going in. The staff was friendly, and the food seemed fresh, but it did take a while for our order to be prepared. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but the experience didn't quite live up to my expectations. Nothing was bad, and I'd be willing to stop by again if I was in the area, but it's not a place I'd go out of my way for. If you're curious about Filipino street food, it's worth trying at least once and making up your own mind.

BUT unless I see the business pushing their political viewpoints I never know how accurate rumors are plus I like to assess things for myself. Group of 3 came in on a rainy Memorial Day afternoon. We were immediately greeted by a friendly waitress who told us to sit wherever we'd like and she'd be right over. The place was not busy and our waitress was very sweet and efficient. We each ordered a different breakfast item (served all day) and I have to say everything was tasty. Pancakes cooked the way I like with crispy edges. The breakfast potatoes were crispy seasoned cubes but not at all greasy. I love that sourdough bread is an option. Overall, it's a good diner breakfast in a diner environment. We didn't get any dessert but there was a woman there as we were checking out who raved about the cake slices there and told us she comes almost every day for a slice of cake. I forgot to snap pics but the pics on here look very consistent with what we had and saw.
