We used Hazard Painting recently for a exterior paint job. Jason and crew showed amazing attention to detail and workmanship. We were beyond impressed with the prep, outcome and how they handled business ...all at a reasonable price. Jason listened to our needs and concerns and offered advice on how to best handle details. He communicated with us regularly and frequented the job site to check on things. The crew was polite and took the time to make us happy. I would Highly recommend Hazard Painting! read more

We needed our entire interior painted as well as our front door and adjacent shutters. We chose Hazard Painting based on their competitive bid and informative website. Jason took notes during his initial walkthrough and presented us with a thorough, written proposal. We scheduled the job for the week before we moved in. We met the crew on the first day but then had to leave for the rest of the week. We had to trust that the work would be done properly. We were thrilled when we returned not only with the transformation but with the flawlessness of the work. Without our asking, they even touched up the side of our refrigerator that had been scuffed during a move a few days before. We highly recommend them. read more

We just had our home painted this past week by Hazard Painting. Jason was wonderful to work with, very professional and answered all questions patiently and thoroughly. He checked in a few times during the week and was very responsive to texts. The crew was polite, efficient, and very detail oriented. The time they took to make sure everything was masked off correctly was impressive. They worked very hard and were extremely talented. Most people think "it's just a coat of paint, how hard can it be?" Painting a home with three different colors in just five days and making sure nothing gets painted that is not supposed to takes time and talent. THANK YOU Hazard Painting, our home looks beautiful !! read more

Jason and his crew did an amazing job on the exterior of our house from beginning to the end. They arrived promptly every morning at 7:00 and got right to work. The entire team was professional, respectful and their attention to detail was amazing. We couldn't be happier. Plus, we had gotten several bids and their price was very competitive. We highly recommend them. read more

I've been wanting to paint some rooms in my house but I really wasn't feeling it as I'm not a painter. I'm a pretty handy guy and I can generally fix stuff, but I don't do my own plumbing, I don't do my own dentistry, and guess what? I'm a terrible painter. I've got bad lines, bad shading and always spilling it. I go to visit my parents place here in Oceanside...and holy cow! Their house looks brand new bitchen! I ask the Major (my father) and he tells me how he had Hazard paint the outside of the house. And it was awesome! So I get Jason's number from my mum and I call Jason. Jason comes by and we chat a bit, talk colors, ideas, pricing, scheduling, etc. On scheduling day, Troy shows up right on time. Friendly, knowledgeable and super personable. Troy is the guy you go have beers with and hang out with the family. In the meanwhile, I ask to have my back wall deep red. The WORST color because it shows every imperfection with the dry wall. Every little bump, nail hole and old scratch is amplified. Troy smooth's all those suckers out and retextures, and retextures, and retextures....you get the point. My paint was sooooo dead that Troy had to go over it with his magic several times and made it super bitchen. In the end, as I'm writing this, I'm scheduled to get my master bedroom and bathroom painted in two weeks. Consider this a dual review as Troy got me fixed up and I got Hazard from my folks getting their house painted. Thanks Hazard, and I'll see you in a few weeks. Deputy D. read more

Great workmanship, on time, courtesy. The workers taped down the work area and cleaned up at the end of the day. Highly recommend.

We recently had Hazard Painting, Inc. paint our exterior window frames and doors, and various rooms indoors (including our kitchen which we had remodeled). Travis's team -- AND Travis! -- did a super job. We are very pleased. Travis worked with us to ensure that the white paint was indeed the EXACT shade of white that we wanted and that it truly matched the other walls that were painted some years ago. He was helpful and respectful. He listen to our requests and needs. His group of painters showed up on time and left the house and outside always clean and organized. This is the second time we used Hazard Painting, Inc. The previous time was in 2015. We would not hesitate to use their services again. I should also mention that Travis and his company came HIGHLY recommended by our contractor (and our contractor is very "picky" and knows the community). read more

Hazard painting has done three projects for us. Each project went perfectly. Precise workmanship, open and honest communication, courteous team members. The 3rd project went beyond our expectations. They painted our 20 year old cabinets. The end result was better then the original surface when the cabinets where brand new!!! Amazing. Thank you John C read more

Honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with this company from start to finish. Prompt appointment to get a quote. Prompt sending of bid, which seemed extremely fair. Prompt scheduling (a few weeks out) when requested. Team did a beautiful job powerwashing and patching stucco, a meticulous job prepping, and a gorgeous job painting. All the craftsmen were super friendly, responded to any requests, cleaned up EVERYTHING. Seriously, can I give them 10 stars? read more

Jason and his crew did an awesome painting up our retaining wall that was tagged by vandals. They color matched the paint to the natural brick color and faded it into the brick. We are absolutely happy that we found these guys. They are very reasonably priced, showed up on time, got right to work preparing the site, and cleaned up after themselves when done. Highly recommend them for anything that needs painting. read more

After a strong recommendation from a good friend, we contacted Jason at Hazard painting, and we are so glad we did! We can't say enough about Jason and his crew! They did a great job on the exterior of our house. They arrived at 7:00 each morning and did a great job of clean up at the end of each day. Really good attention to detail. The crew was very responsive to questions and went the extra mile to ensure a terrific job. We still have more work to do, with new garage doors to be installed. Once that is done, we'll post a picture to give justice to the job Hazard did for us.. Next step ... getting a quote from Jason for sprucing up several places inside the house :) read more

Although I will do much of my own painting, Jason's team has painted both the inside of the old part of our house and a new unit of 1800 Sq Ft attached to our house for our daughter,SIL and two grandchildren. Jason's team has always been outstanding both in their respect for our house and their interactions with our family. You do not need to look elsewhere! Addendum: after nearly three years the side of the new unit facing south had a blotchy look. Jason came over, brought along the man from Sherwood-Williams and decided that for whatever reason the paint did not hold up to the elements. The side was repainted without any questions and without charge. That is service to the max! read more

Jason and his crew did a FANTASTIC job on our home. I found a bunch of cracks and an old telephone outlet that needed attention and they made them disappear! The attention to detail was especially important to me. The clean up after was great! I got three bids and Hazard was the least expensive and their work looks like a million bucks! HIGHLY recommend!! read more

Same for us, we fully agree with all of the other 5 Star reviews! We had been referred to Hazard by our neighbors Cindy C. and her husband Craig and they recommended this firm highly. Now we know why they got soooo many five star ratings. The following things meant a lot to us: Their bid was fair and in line with other licensed and Insured painters. They showed up on time, every time and their crews were careful and courteous. The house looks great and they paid attention to all of the little details that make for a first rate job. As a retired General Contractor I highly recommend Jason, Travis and the crew (Mike, Mario and Edgar thanks for all of your good work!). Linda and David read more

Jason and his crew did such a great job, I can't give a higher recommendation. They were 15 minutes early every day, worked super hard, and they were nice to my kids. Every time I asked "any way you can ..." they were always as accommodating and helpful as possible. I'd give them more stars if I could. read more

We had Hazard painting paint our home. They did a great job. Thank you for being so professional.

I was surprised that this company would bid a job in Hillcrest but they were favorably recommended by our condo's building superintendent because the do a lot of work downtown. Very happy with the job they did. They were reasonable, prompt and clean. The work was excellent. I've already recommended them to 2-3 friends. read more

I honestly cannot believe this company does not have more yelp reviews. I have never left a yelp review for anything, but this company was so above and beyond excellent, I feel the need to share. They did an amazing job painting the entire interior of my house I was putting on the market. Excellent customer service too! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jason and Travis! Thank you so much for doing great work, getting the job done on time, and fitting us into your busy schedule. read more

I'm glad to be the first client to give Hazard Painting their first review on Yelp. Even though giving how well known they are where I live, it was a bit surprising to me when I didn't find them on Yelp. I been wanting to paint my townhouse in UTC/La Jolla for over a year. I searched Yelp, as I usually do, and met with few people but was not fully satisfied with their recommendations even though their estimates seemed reasonable. After asking a few of my neighbors, most of them pointed to Jason from Hazard Painting. I called Jason and he promised to stop by to look at the place. He came by and I was very impressed with how detailed and professional he was. Talking to him gave me the confidence I needed that I'll be giving the job to the right person. I needed someone that's able to do a top notch work with professionalism and precision and Jason seemed that kind of a person. I decided to have him paint the house. He came down with his crew and got the whole house done in three days. They did an amazing job. Great work and very personable...an amazing team. True perfectness. read more

Hazard Painting was amazing. We secured them to do a medium size job, but they were able to flex at the last minute to paint the entire interior of our house, including the garage. They worked hard, were fast, and got everything done right. The entire crew is friendly and flexible and works hard. All of this came with an appropriate price to match and we are very pleased with the result. In addition to the outcomes, they provided excellent service and were there for any questions, concerns and even committed to coming back if there was anything we found after the project was complete. They are the real deal and I'd highly recommend giving them a chance to complete your painting job! read more

Jason and his crew are awesome! They painted the whole exterior of our house and patio cover, including pressure washing and stucco repair. Even painted our kitchen ceiling. They were friendly, punctual, and very neat. We have used this company a couple of times in the past to touch up the trim of our house and they always did a great job. I would not hesitate to recommend them to any of my friends. Thanks again Jason! read more

Hazard painting came highly recommended by a couple people and we are so glad we used them. Jason and his team did an amazing job with our living room, dining room, staircase, ceiling and hallway areas of our home. Jason came the same day we called requesting a quote which was very fairly priced. They had the job finished in 8 hours and did a flawless job. They took great care of all our blinds, surfaces and furniture. We will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone in need of a painting job. read more
