Reliable painting painted my house about a month ago, both the inside and outside and did a great job. I left a review. I am now putting in new floors and the flooring people asked me for some paint to paint the baseboards. Reliable painting did a fabulous job of labeling all the extra paint cans. Unfortunately I needed more paint than was leftover for the baseboards. I went to 3 stores and they were out. I sent Chin a text telling him the situation. He said no problem, I will deliver you the paint in 2 days. He didn't even charge me. I am refinancing my house, and so just had it appraised. I got Chin as a referral from my real estate agent. The problems with Chin began at the beginning off my Job. On day one Chin showed up to my house requoting me $1000.00 more then he originally quoted me. I found him to be unethical but was forced to compromise because my wife was 9 months pregnant at the time. I had to get my family in our house. I Chin was often very rude and irritable unless my wife was around and I always had to fight to ger him to do the right thing. Lastly, I told Chin to make sure his guys sanded down my kitchen cabinets so that the paint would adhere. He told me that he would. Months later ALL the paint on my kitchen cabinets is falling off. Chin tried to pull a fast one on me and have me sign off on a "Napkin" to agree on a refund for the bad paint job in my kitchen. The problem with that is it cost double the cost to get someone to fix his bad work. Chin also came out to my house with a Sherwin Willams paint rep because he wanted to blame the issues on the paint. The paint rep confirmed that the paint was not adhereing to my cabinets due to BAD pre work. I will never use or recommend Chin he tried to rip me off. And be very manipulative by bringing out a paint manufacturer to back his bad job. I don't appreciate you trying to steal from my family and I Chin. You took zero accountability for your bad work. read more

Just had Chin and his crew paint my house the past few days. What a great experience!! I've never seen painting done with such organization, efficiency and thought helping to avoid any miscommunication. Chin provided not only the price in writing (fair & competitive) but also an outline of which paint in which rooms as well as detail on each step they'd take from set up to clean up. I so appreciate that as it helps to avoid issues. Even the paint cans were lined up in the garage with notations of which would go where. We walked the property with he and Marco and detailed and put notes on walls for each color or type of paint. Marco is also quite artistic and seems to love what's he does and making sure the job is right. Very refreshing that an owner and his crew show such care. They covered & protected everything including the garage floor even though no painting was actually done in the garage. Chin will also make color suggestions if needed. I just had Chin and his team paint the ceilings in my kitchen and family room after having some drywall repair work done. They showed up on time with masks due to COVID and did a fantastic job. Brian, Marco and the team did a tremendous job prepping the house, removing everything to the perimeter, and covering and taping the windows. We hired him to paint our condo after we moved out. He directly ignored our direction to leave up molding that we had painstakingly put up to make our condo look nicer before selling it. When asked why it was taken down after telling him to leave it up, he said he thought it would look better down. It doesn't matter what he thinks, we paid him to do what we asked. He left the molding in pieces in the back yard. He also painted a hallway that we told him not to. He left paint spatter on windows and mirrors and paint chips and debris on the floor. He left painter's tape stuck in the kitchen drain and put the stopper on top covering it up. We had to work really hard to get the tape unstuck. We also clearly told him several times that new carpet would be put in before he painted. He misunderstood and thought it was going to be put in after he painted and ended up charging us more for his misunderstanding. We had cleaned all the kitchen and bathroom counters before having this painter come. After he painted we came back to coffee cup rings on the bathroom counter and something spilled on the kitchen counters. I could have painted straighter lines if I had painted the baseboard. One good thing was that he was available on short notice for a good price, however I can see why he was available. read more
