When I walked inside I was greeted by Amy, she was so kind and welcoming. The front of the store had the most adorable red and white merchandise with hearts, in preparation for Valentine's Day! The back of the store had the men's section. Here they will taylor shirts and trousers to your fit. I really liked a lot of the tops and small accessories in this finely catered boutique. I found two great Foxcroft button down shirts, perfect for work, on sale for $37! The owner was very friendly and we got to talking about where I was visiting from, West Hartford, and she happened to have grown up there. She also shared a lot about the cute new spring items she had just ordered from her recent purchasing trip to New York. I believe this has caused a fearful, self preservation attitude amongst the most seasoned employees in management. we have seen this time and time again and the most unhealthy decisions are made when those fear the loss of position, and fail to be in integrity. Women in leadership in todays climate has grown to be more supportive and this was a poor demonstration of leadership, in my view.
