My friends and I have been loyal customers for years, and through referrals from Ryan Avila, our group collectively accounts for approximately $150,000+ in wine purchases in the industry, today, I brought a friend who purchases 50k a year and his first intro will make the last into. Ryan's exceptional service and passion for the winery have been a key reason for our continued support and the referrals we've made. However, during our most recent visit, we were deeply disappointed by the service we received in Ryan's absence. We understand there may have been some internal challenges, but the experience without him was far below the standard we've come to expect at O'Brien. It's important to us that our loyalty is reciprocated with the quality of service we've grown accustomed to.  Given the pivotal role Ryan has played in our relationship with the winery, we are concerned that without him, we won't be able to continue our patronage in the same way. It's unfortunate to feel that we may need to reconsider our purchases going forward due to the current situation. Thank you for taking the time to hear our feedback. They were closed and are reservation only, so upon arriving home I promptly called to make a tasting appointment. I finally got a chance to visit last week and wow! Beyond the gates, the estate is even more beautiful. The wines, stunning. And after emailing our host, Monica, a few times back and forth prior to the tasting, I knew she'd be fun and friendly. And she was! Even more than that, she's knowledgeable while still being relatable. This is my kind of place. Superb wines and winning non-pretentious service. Unfortunatley for my bank account, I've found a new wine home :-)

We went through the history of the vineyard and learned some knowledge about the creation of the wines. All of the cabernet wine was delightful and bold, what a treat. It is also a wonderful spot to chill out on the patio. David was our patio host and he was fun to connect with; overall an incredible experience and we would love to come back.

It's a tasty, heavier cabernet sauvignon but still very easy to enjoy. We were offered a goat cheese and chutney bite to try the two wines with, which was a great little pairing. Following our 3 wine tasting at the table, we were taken over to tour the nice, cold room with the vats then ushered into a room full of casks that reminded me of a cedar closet. This one is a little bit off the main road and tucked away. Nice tasting room and a bit pricey ($70 for 3 glasses of cabs) but still a nice experience. Cute little picture op out front that looks just like their famous bottle label so don't forget to snap a shot.

One of the sweetest highlights of our visit was having two adorable dogs come over and spend a little time with us. They were so friendly and added even more charm to an already delightful experience! The wines were absolutely fabulous! We especially appreciate the winery's commitment to not using pesticides. It's wonderful to enjoy such delicious wines while knowing how much care goes into the land and vineyards. Sarah, our wine educator, was fantastic! She was warm, knowledgeable, and passionate about the winery, and we truly appreciated everything she shared with us. The charcuterie board was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the wonderful selection of cheeses. Another unexpected treat was getting to enjoy a fresh pomegranate picked right off the tree! Such a simple but memorable touch that made our experience even more special. Tres Sabores is truly a hidden gem in Napa Valley. Between the beautiful surroundings, exceptional wines, friendly dogs, and wonderful hospitality, it's the kind of place that makes you want to linger a little longer. We will absolutely be back! As we tasted their 4 wines we were offered cracker various and nuts to munch on- we also ordered a charcuterie board which was delicious. We left having bought 8 bottles of wine between 3 branches of the family and all will be shipped soon! They also provided fresh grape juice for the kids which was amazing and so delicious! I was so impressed by Jo's knowledge and the way she shared it with us. She made learning about Cakebread and the wines approachable and enjoyable without ever making the experience feel overly formal. The setting was SO intimate (we were the only ones there), the view was beautiful, and we were treated like family in someone's home. The owner even came out to greet us. It was so sweet. Their story was amazing, the wine pairings were great, and we loved every single wine we tried. This was the only winery we visited where every person in our group bought multiple bottles, a case or a membership to their wine club. All of us still get the email updates from the vineyard, and look forward to their spring release wines (specifically the Sauvignon Blanc & Rosé)! When I tell you every wine of theirs we tasted was amazing, I mean every single one! I've even received hand written cards every Christmas since we visited from the family. They truly made our experience so special. Their wine, their vineyard, their hospitality and the attention to detail made Taylor Family Vineyards our favorite winery to date. I can't wait to visit again!

The small intimate setting, beautiful views, amazing wines at reasonable prices, and great cheese pairings made this place a stop to remember. I ended up buying a case and joining the wine club. They also waived our tasting fees with our bottle purchases (I think it's one tasting waived per two bottles but double check me on that). They also gave me a free (and quite sturdy and good quality) branded wine key, perhaps for joining the club. I also appreciated they gave us water bottles and allowed two of our guests (who were driving) to join us but not have to pay for the tasting. I wish more wineries allowed that to allow for safe and responsible tastings. Highly recommend and will definitely be back again! This by far will have to be a stop for us every time we come to Napa. I felt like we had driven back in time to what Napa valley had been 40 years ago - such a cool experience. Our tasting included a tour of the facility, which was built in the late 1800's.
