A friend in the…read morewine industry set up a tasting for us saying he highly recommends to visit Hall since we were in town with our two teenagers and dog. The staff was very welcoming and there were a ton of different locations to drop in and taste; upstairs at their artistic bar space, outside by the vineyards, on the patio, in the grassy area, etc. This place looks like they can accommodate and welcome everyone (including your well behaved furry family member). We had a reservation for the inside bar space. Joego (Joseph Ogo) was so much fun to taste with. He had the energy and conversations skills that are unmatched, making all of us feel welcomed, joking, sarcastic, serious, etc. He knows how to read the room and cater to his clients/customers. He took the time to understand our palettes and poured what he thought best suited our likes, and he nailed it! Big fan of the WALT pinot noirs! Definitely plan on coming back again in the future.

By the time we left, it honestly felt like we were leaving friends behind! She took the time to get to know everyone in our group and made the tasting feel so personal and fun. Her jokes and puns had us laughing the entire time (seriously, they were the best ). We were also in one of the coolest tasting rooms ever, which made the experience even more special. Between the amazing wine, beautiful setting, and Nashelli's incredible hospitality, this was one of our favorite winery experiences. We can't recommend her and Hall Winery enough!

The tour is 120/person for an 1.5 hours. I little pricey but we enjoyed it. We had Bryan for a tour guide and he was informative and really knew how to work the crowd to make it an enjoyable experience. They have strictly reds with bottles starting at 60 bucks. The caves were really interesting. The chandeliers in them make some pretty photo ops. It's nice and cool in there to get you out of the Napa heat in the middle of the day You end the tour with some more tasting in the lobby area. Best of all the tour comes with some very welcome pizza and tater tots! We did our second stop at v. Sattui afterwards and to be honest it was a nice contrast of ambience between the two wineries.

The caves are unlike any I have been in before where they are usually rustic. These are beautifully decorated and all kinds of art. I would have liked to see more of the caves but they just have the dercorated section open for these tours. The barrel tasting was great and surprisinly all their wines are pretty drinkable right out of the barrell I suppose because they dont have much tannins so they dont need alot of tiem to mellow. I liked most of them but at $250 a botttle I felt they were way overpriced compared to other high end Napa area wines we are familiar with. After the cave tour they sit inside and you get to try several more wines so we had plenty to drink. I was not expecting a full size pizza for the two of us we already had lunch plan right after so we took most of it with us. Only bought two bottles of their less expensive wines at $95 each which is still a little high!! Probably wont be back since the value just isnt there for purchasing their wines but I do reccomend the tour.

One of the ladies had never been to Napa before, and this was a dream trip for her. Grgich Hills Estate was one of our top choices, and I am so glad we made this stop. The service was absolutely top-tier. Our Wine Educator, Ryan, made working between a few tables look completely effortless. He brought a fun attitude to the table and was deeply knowledgeable about the wines and the wine world in general. He even introduced us to another Wine Educator, Patrick, whose positive, upbeat energy and wealth of knowledge about California wine history made the stop more memorable. A huge thank you to the staff, Sherisse, Ryan, and Patrick for making this Napa trip an unforgettable experience. The welcome host was also amazing and graciously took our photo. We will be back!

I am a white wine connoisseur because of my dietary restrictions with most ingredients in red wines, especially cherries and plum, that trigger my stomach pain and headaches. I have missed enjoying red wine because of this. I was hoping and praying that when my friends who are members of PEJU planned this wine tasting treat, that my stomach and head would be fine and to my surprise, my palate, tongue, stomach and heart were pleased with the Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Fifty/Fifty, and more, including reserve reds Todd served and educated us about! I have NEVER enjoyed red wines like these I tasted at PEJU. Since the time of our outstanding wine tasting experience, I have recommended and raved about Todd and PEJU winery to friends and family who appreciate and value high quality wines and winery experiences. It felt like a vacation getaway being in the tasting room building, admiring the breathtaking stained glass art, all of the art inside and the beautiful art and nature views outside. I appreciate the PEJU staff and management team who welcomed us and were kind to us all the way to the end of our wine tasting experience when we left. This is the kind of treatment that makes us want to return. Napa is a special place for friends, family, and me, and PEJU is now an indelible memory in my Napa adventures! Todd clearly enjoys his important professional position, is passionate about wine and the wine experience, and brings so much joy to customers! I can't recommend him and PEJU enough! Todd went above and beyond to give us a VIP experience and even gave me a bag full of wine corks for my art project after I told him about this and asked for some of their wine corks we saw lined up in their wine uncorking and pouring area. Thank you, Todd!
