He is also professional and listens well. We agreed that what I had was most likely viral, and was given a treatment plan that was explained very well. He told me if I didn't feel better to call back and he would send in a Rx for me. Today, I awoke and sounded as if I had smoked a carton of cigarettes! (I'm a non-smoker) I called in and spoke to Mikayla, (sp?), She asked questions and send she would let Brian know. She then called me back no less than (3) times and let me know what was happening. I am constantly amazed at her complete knowledge of prescriptions, she keeps current on what works and I have complete confidence in what she prescribes. She has never let me down. Her nurse Lorenna is so kind, gentle, and understanding. She has given me shots that I never feel going in my arm. No kiddiing. I once forgot an order at an X-ray facility and Dr. Vo's office had the order faxed to them in less than 1 minute. Even the X-ray technicians were amazed. They have a great phlebotomist on staff who is very gentle and efficient. The office staff all treat the patients as personal friends and they remember you and your preferences. But the office manager of Pulmonary Consultants is horrible. The office doesn't do their jobs and the manager doesn't care. Last year, my husband came for an appointment but the nurse could not download his info from his machine. We had to do the visit without the info. They had me call to give the numbers from the unit and said they would resolve it. Today, a year later, new nurse says no one ever bothered to do anything and doctor still has no info. So we left while they were now trying to fix it, no idea if they will get it done this time, either but at least the nurse cared. But worse- On March 14th, we were told by our vet that our beloved pet of 16 years would need to be put down. We asked for the weekend to say goodbye and I made a phone call to try to reschedule my husband's appointment with Dr. Daley for that Monday. My husband would have been in no condition to see him after the vet visit, even if we could make it cross town to it. Couldn't get anyone to answer the phone to reschedule (which is typical there, the phones ring and no one makes any effort to answer them, even if they aren't doing anything). Monday morning I called before the vet visit and I called after, leaving messages. No one returned my calls. I called again Wednesday, no one returned my call. Finally on Thursday, they called and said "you wanted to reschedule" so I did. No mention that they didn't get my messages. I get a bill in the mail for $50 for a No-show appointment. Not one mention of it during the phone call. So I called and left a message to call me about it. No one returned my call. Finally, at the rescheduled visit, I ask about the charge. They tell me their "perfect system" records every call by name and they could not find my call from Friday, but they found my other calls. Ok, so if you have all my messages asking for you to return my call, why didn't anyone call me? They say "I don't know". And then I find their "perfect system" that didn't show a call on Friday despite me showing it on my phone was down for two days! Here's the deal- if you are going to hold people responsible for missed appointments - ANSWER YOUR DARN PHONES!! RETURN PHONE CALLS WITHIN 24 Hrs. PRETEND YOU CARE! We are long term clients that have had many appointments with no problem. Missed a Monday afternoon appointment after calling Friday and Monday but the office manager couldn't care less. Heartless office staff. So my advice is, see the doctor, but don't be surprised when the office treats you like an inconvenience and doesn't do their job.

He is NOT someone who is pill or vaccine crazy preferring to rely on your own immune system to fight infections. I've been going to Dr. Digiorgi for quite a few years now. It wasn't until my last two appointments…read morethat I started to see a lack of interest in customer service and keeping patients happy. Last Tuesday I had my annual checkup scheduled for 11am. Shortly after 11am I was called back to get my blood pressure and weight taken. I was then placed in a second waiting area for another twenty minutes or so--thankfully there was another woman sitting there I could talk to. Eventually I was led into my room. And then I was left there. For at least another 25 minutes. I don't know about everyone else, but when someone is over an hour late for a scheduled appointment, I get irritated. And what really irked me was the fact that Dr. Digiorgi wasn't even apologetic when she came in. She simply retorted that I should always expect a gynecologist appointment to take a minimum of two to three hours out of my day. Seriously? That's absurd! She's not a cable company--unless she'd prefer to be compared to Comcast, which I will gladly do. Well excuse me, but her time is not more valuable than mine. I'm sure if I were late to my appointment, they would make me reschedule. Whatever happened to doctors being respectful of other people's time? Is it just in Florida? When I lived in the Arlington, VA area this rarely (if ever) happened. If someone is running well over an hour behind, the office should be notifying patients when they sign in. Guess who had to miss a meeting due to the lackadaisical actions of her gynecologist? Needless to say, I will NOT be returning to Dr. Digiorgi's office.
