We agreed on half up front and half when completed but multiple times he came to me for more cash and said the materials/equipment that were being delivered that day depended on me giving him money on the spot or the job couldn't continue. At first it was "the guy ran my card wrong". Weeds poorly addressed, no mess underneath stone, much less stone and top soil than promised. It appears as if I was luckier than others in that he actually finished my work, albeit poorly. But 2 weeks afterwards, weeds growing up through all the mulch. He bought 3 different styles of edging and 2 different colors of mulch. I ended up purchasing 3000 lbs of additional top soil, spreading it myself and tilling it, all of which were already promised to finish my garden. I guess the one positive is that I have learned that I can do most of this stuff myself and I don't need to subject myself to someone like Thomas again!

All I asked for was my backyard to be completed, but I can no longer get through as he blocked my number. It's also funny how he has purchased a new iPhone, after I paid him. His last excuse was he had to get breaks done, and mentioned he will come by when completed. He never showed up, yet he was able to make it to another customers house to provide a quote, which I have proof of. In addition to things I paid for that have yet to be completed fully are pruning of all shrubs, mesh never completed in flower beds, weeds not all pulled out, and trimming of flower beds never fully completed.
