I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this Sterling Greenert. When I purchased my…read moreplants, I was given the impression that if any of them died within a reasonable period of time, they would be replaced. Unfortunately, a few of my plants died (same species) only 4-5 months after purchase, and the company has now failed to honor the word they gave me. Purchased 4-2026. I understand that there is stone in parts of my garden, but the stone is in no way obstructing or interfering with the areas where these plants were planted. The plants were properly placed in their designated garden beds, so I do not feel that the presence of stone is a fair reason to deny replacement. What is most disappointing is that I relied on what I was told when making my purchase. I expected the company to stand behind its plants and its word, especially when the plants failed within just a few months. Customer service and honoring commitments matter, and unfortunately, I feel that my experience fell far short of those expectations. I hope the company reconsiders its decision and does the right thing by replacing the plants as originally promised. If not, I would not purchase from them again and steer others away.

Every May, my sister sends me a gift certificate for my birthday and I go with a friend on a trip to Weston Nurseries in Hopkinton to kick off the gardening adventure for the year. I was very pleasantly surprised to see their huge selection of perennials had been laid out alphabetically this year!!!!! No more aimless wandering looking for astilbe in the middle of the hellebores or sedum. The prices are a bit higher than other local shops or big box home improvement stores. However, aside from two of the mini plants I bought from the clearance section that died, I have never been disappointed in the quality of things I've purchased there. Shopping at Weston Nurseries is a wonderful experience!

The "rescan" is what he seems to exercise to be able to call it if there's something other than the guarantee and charge another $500. I asked three times for the owner to come and take a look at it to assess the situation, and he didn't. He just kept saying this was a "rescan" and not guaranteed, without even seeing the problem. The owner is hiding behind some claim that I don't understand the language in his contract, also on his website. I am trained in interpreting contracts and I reread it, there was no misunderstanding on my part. This is a blatant attempt by a business owner to get people to believe they get a one year guarantee, only to hit them with a very large additional fee when they try to exercise it. This is bad business practices. I feel lied to and like I fell for a scam. I never would've paid almost $1000 for the initial eradication if I thought it was not guaranteed for the year.
