Well run family-owned business. They still operate the way a small business should. They do an excellent front end car and truck alignment.

DO NOT COME HERE! They will SCAM you!!!…read more I brought my car in to get a diagnostic on the air conditioning not blowing cold at idle. They came back with the quote pretty quickly. Of course I assumed AC work may or may not be expensive depending on the problem and after receiving a high quote I needed to run it by my husband. Also come to find out they charge mostly the labor because we found the parts I needed online for $215. (My quote was almost $1600 not including the money they robbed me of) They said they still needed to charge me ($217) because they topped off (it wasn't empty) and recharge my ac. I didn't ask them to do either of those things, just to run a diagnostic which I would have paid for if there was a cost for that, no problem. I asked the man at the counter if doing those things was going to temporarily help with the cold air and he said yes. A lie. Come to find out because my issue is my compressor, recharging and adding more Freon was a total waste of time and money. That's $217 wasted on something I didn't even ask them to do. I imagine they won't be willing to refund me so all I can do is try to help someone else to STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!!

We will NEVER AutoPro touch anything of ours again. Lesson learned.

Mr Cool's AC Transmission and Brake Service

I had transmission issues with both of my vehicles at the same time. And both had the exact same…read moresymptoms. A mechanic that I use to service my cars (they don't do transmission) told me the best place (in his opinion) to take my van. The repair cost me $4500.00! Then it was time to take my truck in because I wanted to sell it, because since retirement I rarely drove it. But a friend told me about Mr Cool transmission repair (He loved their service and value) so I figured I'd give them a shot, as I felt the transmission shop I took my van to ripped me off. Long story there. So I figured since both cars had the same issue (stuck in second gear) that I'd be paying around the same amount on my truck repair. Then several days after I took it in, they called and I closed my eyes thinking another big bill. The receptionist said "your trucks ready, the total is $350.00 plus tax." I about fell on the floor. They did a great job, and the price was right! I only wish I'd taken my van to Mr Cool. If you have transmission issues, check out Mr Cool. They're VERY cool.

Ok. I have a transmission issue…read more Brought it in to determine the root-cause. They found an old (not cleared) thermostat problem that I fixed a year ago. It didn't totally close, thus not allowing the Cat o get up to temperature quickly enough. I replaced for $25 and 45 minutes, easy. Check-engine light disappeared. But obviously the code locked in. And also they said I needed a full replacement transmission. Which I don't deny may be required. , sorta. I am 71 years old, done professional car work since 17. The ONLY reason I am not doing this myself is age. But that said, before I would tear down anything I would already know what component is bad. A valve, cam sensor, etc. My symptoms are of a valve-body stuck valve, causing the clutch(s) to not fully engage. Thus I wanted a more concise explanation for why I should give them $5,000 - $6,000 to replace the entire Xmission. I really should have had a talk with the trained mechanic that could go into depth about the detailed reason it is giving me problems. But I got the worker at the register explaining the estimate to me. I have 100% confidence she has ZERO true mechanical knowledge/training past what to say. She should have called the Tech to talk to me. Had that happened I would have set an appointment to have it replaced. But given the weak thermostat ($330) ghost diag, I had zero confidence about the rest of their work. Reminds me of "give a kid a hammer and everything looks like a nail".

We will never bring another vehicle here nor recommend it to anyone we know. I have no doubt that this shop was reputable at one point but it is clearly circling the drain and he's just trying to cash grab as long as he can. Vehicle one. Took my car in for an issue with overheating. Fans weren't blowing. Fred called me telling me they were going to have to replace a whole bunch of parts in the system and all the fans and a very costly quote. When I expressed I didn't know if I could afford it and would need to look at finances and call him back, he tried to push back - saying he needed to order the parts in the next ten minutes. I told him I'd call him back. He then called me again about five minutes later saying they 'took another look' and it's actually just a housing unit and some wired and it would cost significantly less. Vehicle two. Recommended to my husband's best friend. They had it for MONTHS and after taking it back THREE TIMES because it was not done correctly ANY time, had to take it to DIFFERENT shop to fix the damage caused by the negligence at Fred's. Fred couldn't even afford to reimburse him the money he paid even though he admitted daily AND fired the tech - saying he just doesn't have the money and instead offered an old vehicle that was abandoned on his lot to try and keep him from suing. Vehicle three. We brought in my husbands vehicle THREE TIMES because they didn't do it right the first time, didn't FIX it the second time, which led to further damage and a third visit. We just asked him to fix the mistake and warranty the parts and labor (parts he got from O'Reillys, by the way). He refused to take responsibility and forced us to pay to get the car back for damage that never would have happened if it had been done correctly in the first place - saying it was for additional work they had to do and was NOT their fault, and never having obtained authorization to compete said work or discussing cost. Just made up a bill and gave us no choice.
