I initially went to oreillys and they weren't able to do it. I then went to Firestone, and they wouldn't touch it since I didn't buy the part from them. I asked who they recommended and they said autopro down the street. I walked in and they had it installed in about 20 min for no charge (the case holding the bulb in place was a little broken so it took longer than usual). Awesome service and very friendly staff. Terrible service! I took a friend's 1997 4.6L F-150 in for a simple coolant flush. They only vacuum…read moreit, which cannot pull it all out. Then they filled it, and I paid my bill $140. I asked them what temp it tests to now? They looked at me puzzled, so I even had to explain to the tech. Then, they brought out the antifreeze tester, but sorry, it busted - all they could say was bring it back in a week when we have another tester? Seriously, so after I returned and pulled out the photo I had taken right after the engine cooled at my home. I tested with my antifreeze tester. It showed only to 0 degrees F! Showed it to the tech back at Valolene- his only reply was Well, ok, it doesn't get cold around here anyway! I then asked for my money back, but he immediately declined, so I drove to Jiffy Lube down the street. They pulled the upper radiator hose hooked up their PRESSURE machine pushing all coolant through the radiator & heater core and engine - then out the unattached upper radiator hose. This is the only way to throughly replace the old fluid. No vacuum garbage there! I checked the antifreeze before adding it, and yes, good to -35F as it should be when done correctly! Stay far AWAY FROM VALVOLINE as possible , terrible service, extremely ignorant and rude! Cooling systems are only positive pressure, any negative pressure can hurt gaskets within the cooling systems. The staff was very rude and obviously did not care. Terrible service so stay away! I called the V headquarters and registered a complaint, was given a case # and was told I would hear back - well good luck with that, as of today the Aug 24 still waiting- that says something about the company! FYI Below you will see their invoice, then my HOME freez point of theeir service (since they had no instrument to use?) Clearly showed only 0F, then same day over to Jiffy Lube and I checked their work freez point was a good -35F as it should be! FYI BEWARE

I asked how much for an oil change and the guy tells me 130.00, although I could see on the sign it says 99.00. However, 99.00 was still high for four quarts of oil but only 20 bucks hirer than where I usually go, but 130.00 before taxes, no way! Then to add insult to injury, he tells me it will cost extra for an oil filter. I have had oil changed in may places on many cars over the last 40 years, but never ever have I been charged separately for an oil filter. After some discussion, they gave me the first responders discount, since I was a retired police officer. This will be my first and last time going here. Everyone is always friendly, well informed, and gets the job done. I always felt like I was a real person talking with a real person, rather than a consumer transacting with an institution. I'd give three stars for doing what they promised at the time promised, maybe 4 for being extra personable. What gets them to a strong 5 Stars is what Joey Matlock did when something went wrong. I requested an appointment and he was able to get me in asap coming out on a Sunday morning. The issue was my heat was not working. The first thing he noticed was my antifreeze was almost empty. He went and got the fluid i needed and put it in for me. The heat still wasn't working but he said it probably needed to be driven and sure enough the heat started working with in not even five minutes. He was worried about a leak so he wanted me to keep him updated on the issue. I highly recommend!
