Excellent pizza friendly crew stuff shells were exceptional food very good a must try

I had not stopped by in awhile and I was not disappointed. THE BEST stuffed mushrooms I have ever had! Never a bad meal at Hawthorne Pizza.

Great pizzeria , very friendly staff and good food classic pizza place love it. If you're around pass by

Dined in at this spot with my family for dinner on Friday 8/11 and we had a great experience. We ordered two regular slices, fried calamari, spaghetti & meatballs and spaghetti with meat sauce. Delicious! Everything was hot, fresh and had great flavor. Portions were also generous. I'm from Brooklyn, NY and we definitely have access to great Italian food so I was skeptical at first, but they definitely delivered! The young man who took our order and served us was also very kind and attentive. If I'm ever back in that area this pizzeria is definitely a spot I would be hitting up again. read more

This pizza is banging. I don't understand why there are only 2.5 stars. I've lived in NYC most of my adult life and Hawthorne pizza is as good as it gets. I've had most of their menu, and it's all been fantastic. Also, very reasonably priced. Also also, it's always been very consistent pizza. I would choose this pizza over any pizza in the area. read more

We flew in from California today, and asked the hotel registration employee for a recommendation for pizza. He said Hawthorne Pizzeria is good; were so glad that we went there; the crust was thin and crunchy, and the sauce was amazingly delicious. Also, the son of the owner helped us back out of the parking spot without being asked. A great place for pizza!!! read more

A-OK for a slice. This is your average pizza shop, nothing special or unique about the pizza. It's a decent slice. No complaints. read more

Possibly the worst pizza and calzone I have ever eaten! Both were horribly undercooked Ordered from this place cause it was nearby, they take absolutely no care , cheese was stuck to the box when I picked up, pizza dough though was raw in spots Do not recommend , do not waste your money here read more

I ordered a meatball parm wedge from here to-go last night (YES! Thank you for calling them a wedge! I hate saying hoagie -_- I refuse) and it was really tasty. It wasn't anything that knocked my socks off....but it was really good. It had a nice atmosphere, plenty of tables for eat-in delivery, and was a bump up from a normal "delivery only" pizza place. They had a lot of specials and a ton of different options. One thing that was really awesome - you could order online, or even on their mobile site, and you could go all out in customizing your meal (extra peppers, onions, prosciutto, etc.). For a price of course, but at least the option is there! I will definitely be back - thanks for a great experience. read more

Whoever is making the pizza just doesn't care. Ordered Sicilian pie twice only to find that it's splits across the entire center. We Figured out they must be putting two portions of dough together to get it large enough to be a Sicilian size. Will not order again even though the delivery guy was super nice! read more

Service is absolutely garbage, ordered for delivery. And it took an hour and 10 mins for them to deliver food about 2 miles away. Then got nasty with me when i didnt want it anymore. read more

My job has been ordering from Hawthorne for YEARS practically every day of the week. Now, we place a large order, they forget 2 main items.. not like ketchup or a fork, they forget a WHOLE order of chicken fingers and someone ordered a chef salad and all they sent us was lettuce, 2 tomato slices and 3 cucumber slices. When we call, their response is "we're busy". Never once said sorry or "we're sending the items" we PAID for. So now not only did my coworkers have NO lunch but they are out of their money. This is not the first time this has happened. It's disappointing that they don't accommodate loyal customers that as soon as they see our number, they know exactly where to go and who's name to put on the order. Customer service gets a giant F. We will be taking our LARGE orders else where that will appreciate the customers and orders. *menu in trash* read more

Ordered a large plain pie from this place last night. Excellent pizza and friendly service. Delivery guy was aces.

nope, no more for me, the guys at work like it because they give a decent amount of food for meh pricing - service charge - etc - price they charged did not match receipt and I tipped pretty good...real shame - delivery guy is nice but food is way below average - I will go elsewhere, plenty of options in the area - would rather pay a little more and NOT toss my entire lunch - GROSS read more

Hawthorne Pizzeria - CHICKEN BACON RANCH SLICE WITH A SIDE OF FLIES - Pizza Near Me - Hawthorne, New York

They serve very good thin crust pizza. I haven't had much more than that.

I got off work quite late yesterday, and I was starving! I saw the Pizzeria sign, and though I'll give it a go. I had the meatballs wedge which was surprisingly good. It was quite cheap, and definitely did the job. They put tons of cheese in it, which is a huge plus in my opinion, and there was a nice amount of sauce and meat. Overall, I got to go to bed satisfied! read more

Don't come here. Two reasons: 1. The pizza tastes like the garbage you might get from a mall kiosk in the Midwest. This is the worst pizza I've ever had, short of actual pizza from a mall kiosk in the Midwest. 2. I had ordered three plain slices; the guy charged me $9. When I said "really? you charge 3 bucks a slice? A slice in the city is like $2.50." he replied with a shrug, "Westchester. More money." Then he made that obnoxious "money" symbol, where you rub your thumb across the rest of your fingers. Wow. Really? Here's the thing, my friend. It doesn't matter that people in Westchester have more money to spend, or whatever your point was with that obnoxious comment. The issue here is that your pizza is so terrible that it's worse than those dollar slice joints in Midtown, so it doesn't DESERVE $3. If you're gonna charge so much for a slice, at least make a good slice. You failed miserably on that front. Between the honestly bad pizza and the terribly obnoxious attitude they have, I'll never go here again. And you shouldn't either. read more

I hate to be the first and only person reviewing this place, but here goes. I officially rename this joint "Hit or Miss Pizza". Since it's the pizza place that's closest to my work, I had been going here for years. And every time, it was like gambling. Am I going to get a good slice, or a crappy slice?? I think, unfortunately, crappy was more common. The service was good, the place is usually clean, but the pizza quality was very inconsistent. Thin, floppy crust, chewy cheese, greasy, bland taste.....eventually, I just gave up on them. read more

If it was not close to my parents house Id never eat here. We get a pie delivered every now and then. The food is ok. Our other go to's at the place are the Herod again just ok. Apps are a waste, the house salad dressing a vinagery mess and the staff a real pack of charmers. Don't expect much. read more

Great pizza. Good pasta dishes. Been going to for years! Only complaint is the guy who answers the phone all the time is a bit abrupt and borderline rude. I have to quickly ask for the total/timing otherwise he'll hang up the phone on me. Also, our online purchase hasn't worked 2/3 times now and he is very good about making us feel like it was our fault. (Even though I've always gotten my confirmation email and everything) Other than him, the staff is lovely. In the past they've helped me bring my food to the car when my hands were too full and that chivalry is not lost on me Great neighborhood pizzeria!! read more

They completely messed up my order and charged me for someone else's food, when I asked for a refund I got nothing but "we are sorry, we can't process that, but we can give you a credit" as if I'm going to come back. Never heard of a restaurant giving you a hard time to get YOUR money back, even when THEY are in the wrong...NEVER AGAIN. read more

Hawthorne Pizzeria - Garlic Knots I just received, burnt to a crisp. So disappointed, especially as a regular. I'll never be ordering from here again. - Pizza Near Me - Hawthorne, New York

It's pretty good pizza and good food. I'm shocked with some of the bad reviews. It's one of my " go to"places in town.

Extremely disappointing!! I work very nearby and this is always our "go to" place to order from.. Well they messed up on our order and when we called to try and rectify it the person on the other end only complained about how busy they were and hung up on me!! we will never order from there again! very disappointing. They all need another course on customer service, because this was not it!! read more

Been ordering here almost my whole life, love it! The pizza is awesome and their staff is always helpful and efficient

Without doubt, the freshest doughy in NY. Great staff and food. Pizzas are aren't too expensive and the salads are good. If you're in the area check it out. read more

The pizza and salads have both been great. The service is quick, restaurant is super clean and staff is relatively friendly. Other reviewers have complained about the prices, but I think they're comparable to the area and quality. One down side - the american cheese on the roast beef hero was pre-sliced - the edges were dried out and hard. I'll keep eating here and would recommend it. The fried zucchini was also delicious. read more

One of my favorite places in town. If ordering a full pie I highly recommend asking for thin crust.

Went there for lunch and they made me a fresh calzone which was by far the best I've ever had. Great food and great staff.

I've been eating at Hawthorne Pizzeria for the last 20 years, and they are always on the money! Not only do they have the best pizza, but their food from the kitchen is tasty as well! The employees are always friendly and their delivery service is always fast! I would never eat at another pizzeria! Not to mention the fact that these past two weeks, with all the snow and ice we've gotten, Hawthorne Pizzeria has remained open. I would certainly recommend eating here! read more

This is my old stomping ground Out of all the places in Mt. Pleasant I know I am going to have a great meal.

I order delivery from here all the time. The pizza is good. Favorites so far are pepperoni, and meatball. They are polite, and deliver quick. Their delivery people are always pleasant. Would recommend. read more

This has to be the worst pizza place I've EVER been to. The staff is rude and obnoxious, literally yelling across the restaurant. Pizza was horrible and the price was high enough where you'd expect to get something that tasted relatively similar to pizza. If you like cardboard instead of pizza, this is the place to go! read more
