First Visit - Damaged Rim: * The initial set of tires ordered would not mount on my existing rims, despite being the same exact size/brand as the ones before. They suggested I leave my truck overnight for them to sort it out, mentioned the cold from the snow that day could be affecting the elasticity of the rubber. Only to discover the next day that they'd attempted to force the tires on with a hammer-leaving a deep dent around the bead seating area. * The manager acknowledged the damage and offered either a full repair or a discount. Feeling stranded without my truck for a week for repairs, I reluctantly accepted a discount rather than leave it parked. Second Visit - Even Worse Damage: * Two weeks later, I returned to swap out the tires for a different brand recommended by the manager. When I picked up my truck, two rims were cracked. * Instead of taking responsibility, the manager flatly accused me of causing the damage myself. I repeatedly explained the rims had been intact when I dropped the truck off, but was dismissed until a friend intervened-and only then did the manager grudgingly admit his team was at fault. Bottom Line: I paid for professional service and ended up with three ruined rims. Between the botched tire installs, the hammer damage, and the outright denial of responsibility, I felt completely disrespected as a customer. I cannot recommend Lykins Tire to anyone looking for reliable, honest work-save yourself the hassle (and the repair bill) and go elsewhere.

We asked for a refund and cancellation, and she refused stating he had already used a "tank of gas". Krissy had a habit of not responding to texts but answering when we called. Highly encourage people not to use this. We believe it is a scam, or at the very least a shitty service with poor communication skills between a dispatcher and mechanic. We have included screenshots of messages. There is no time stamp. We waited 3-4 hrs in the cold desert night for a no show. And they charged me first before coming out which is terrible business practice. Sending fake invoices too claiming he came out when he DID not. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO GET SCREWED OVER. Brian got the van in and checked it out. He showed me the absolute sludge clogging my radiator. It was like mud. In just a few minutes, he had it power flushed and running just fine with the flush fluid. Problem solved! I drove it for a few days and he replaced that fluid with antifreeze. I was afraid I was going to need a new radiator, but Cobb Auto provided the best possible outcome and they were very reasonable! When I needed a new door handle and windshield washer reservoir, they were equally efficient and reasonable. Everything works! You should call ahead to schedule a good time to bring it. He let me drop off my car at 9:30 at night because I was concerned about having it for Christmas stuff. And then when he realized I was taking an Uber home he gave me a ride home and waited until I got my door unlocked and was inside before he left the driveway. He is also super fair and looking to save people money and keep them on the road. He is the most honest knowledgeable affordable mechanic I've ever met. I would highly recommend him to everyone. This time it was due to crappy tires on our trailer & a blown out tire on the RV. Powell Tire fixed the RV where it was disabled & drove it back to their shop to check the other 5 tires. After replacing all the RV tires they checked ALL the tires on our truck & both trailers & assured us that we were good to get back on the road.
