First Visit - Damaged Rim: * The initial set of tires ordered would not mount on my existing rims, despite being the same exact size/brand as the ones before. They suggested I leave my truck overnight for them to sort it out, mentioned the cold from the snow that day could be affecting the elasticity of the rubber. Only to discover the next day that they'd attempted to force the tires on with a hammer-leaving a deep dent around the bead seating area. * The manager acknowledged the damage and offered either a full repair or a discount. Feeling stranded without my truck for a week for repairs, I reluctantly accepted a discount rather than leave it parked. Second Visit - Even Worse Damage: * Two weeks later, I returned to swap out the tires for a different brand recommended by the manager. When I picked up my truck, two rims were cracked. * Instead of taking responsibility, the manager flatly accused me of causing the damage myself. I repeatedly explained the rims had been intact when I dropped the truck off, but was dismissed until a friend intervened-and only then did the manager grudgingly admit his team was at fault. Bottom Line: I paid for professional service and ended up with three ruined rims. Between the botched tire installs, the hammer damage, and the outright denial of responsibility, I felt completely disrespected as a customer. I cannot recommend Lykins Tire to anyone looking for reliable, honest work-save yourself the hassle (and the repair bill) and go elsewhere.

This time it was due to crappy tires on our trailer & a blown out tire on the RV. Powell Tire fixed the RV where it was disabled & drove it back to their shop to check the other 5 tires. After replacing all the RV tires they checked ALL the tires on our truck & both trailers & assured us that we were good to get back on the road. The sale and delivery was fine, it was later after I got back to Albuquerque that the problem arise with the finance dept. My loan process was fine, but I got a call from the finance dude requesting that I complete an emissions test. Since the truck was being registered in Albuquerque, an emissions test was required in order to complete the registration. They are not required in Roswell. I did this immediately, then emailed copies of the test, plus the copy of the receipt for $25. I was told I would be reimbursed. I called this guy immediately after emailing these documents to follow up that he did receive them. He affirmed that he had, and I quote, "I will personally walk this receipt upstairs and make sure the check is issued today." It's been 6 weeks today, and I still haven't received the reimbursement. I've been calling and emailing weekly, and again have been assured that he would "check on it." Still no check, zero feedback ever on the status, and my contacts being less friendly each week. I guess I'm to assume that I'm being blown off. Why not? They got their sale. I'm more than happy with my truck. I'm disappointed that I haven't been respected as a customer.

Thank the Lord we did. As we turned in to Flagstaff made it to circle K, we he a loud noise, engine light went on, oil light turned on so we parked. All the oil leaked out, we walked next door to auto zone, the sales guy walked with us to the car, looked under the car and told us there was no oil plug. We were stranded there over night. Next morning had it towed to Brake masters, he put oil and also stated there was no oil plug so whoever changed the oil did not tighten the oil plug so it popped off. With the Grace of God we made it into town and not on the highway. All because of there negligent. This was Changed at the Hyundai in Roswell NM.

And then when he realized I was taking an Uber home he gave me a ride home and waited until I got my door unlocked and was inside before he left the driveway.
