We found both to be fair to middling. The bread "basket" is really just rye bread, but it was warm when it was brought out and as far as bread goes, it wasn't bad. I went with the BBQ burger medium, sans onions and sweet potato fries. But I actually received the bacon cheeseburger (no barbecue sauce), medium well; thankfully they didn't forget the SP fries! Because the burger was overcooked I needed to use a fair amount of ketchup to moisten it up and both the bun and sweet potato fries were quite good. My husband went with the fish fry which he found to be just adequate. Service was a bit uneven; they were quick to bring water refills to the table, but left dirty dishes long after we had finished and the entire dining room had cleared out. While I appreciate not feeling rushed out the door, I didn't need to stare at the crumbs on my plate for 30 minutes beyond the end of the meal.

Those guns aren't your bulky biceps they are actual rifles that you are shooting. I am not a big…read moregun person but I really enjoyed this shooting event. It can be a fun team building event even for folks who have never shot before. It is a little daunting when you walk in and see people all decked out in camo and blaze orange. These people came to shoot because they have their own ear protection and glasses. Don't be intimidated because they train everyone on gun safety. We did 8 stations with a total of 50 shots. I liked this better than more stations and less shots. The reason is that you get better every time you shoot at the same targets. It was a little windy so it made it more challenging. I shared a 20 gauge with someone on my team that didn't have as much kick. Also, it was her gun so we didn't have to pump action for the second shot which made it much easier than the 12 gauge guns you can rent. If you know someone with a rifle I highly recommend that you borrow their gun to make this easier. The only disappointment was one of the stations with the rabbit kept breaking down. It did slow down the course and unfortunately they couldn't fix it for my shots. I really wanted to hit that rascally wabbit! It's not that expensive either: $19 to shoot, $15 for ammo, $20 to rent a gun (typically you share). I am going to get a group of ladies to give this a "shot". PS - Did I mention that after you can buy a cocktail and some quick vittles?

My…read moreexperience is it's extraordinarily hard to get the field you want as they are booked weeks in advance. Part of the problem might be too many memberships are possibly sold, just my theory. The cover is ok. Birds are of a decent size and are a challenge. The challenge being they run out of the field. Might be how they roll them off the cart or because of the cover. Like my initial sentence said might be considered decent if you haven't been elsewhere. I'll spend my cash elsewhere.

Once we checked in, the guy told us we would be teeing off in "a little bit". Our tee time was for 1:16, and we checked in at about 1:05 ish. We then went to our car and grabbed our bags, and we pull up to the tee box before our tee time, at 1:14. We get there and the ranger is screaming at us saying that we are way late and that the whole course is now backed up, while swearing the whole time. He kept yelling at us as we tried to hustle, and he even made us skip the first hole while we still payed for the full 9 holes. Keep in mind that we were at the tee box ready to go, BEFORE OUR TEE TIME. Once we passed the first hole, there were already at least 2-3 groups waiting at the tee box for hole 3, and two other groups already on hole 2, so the hole course was backed up already. Then, about halfway through the round, I got yelled at and heckled by the group behind us for "playing too slow" when there were literally groups in front of us. If anything we were almost hitting into the group in front of us, but I guess that doesn't matter to whoever was behind us. My experience was terrible and I will never be coming back again.

The people throughout all departments were helpful towards me and my group. To extend my argument towards the perfect rating the course was well groomed and well kept. player issues such as divots in the greens could be chalked up to unclassy players.

I primarily think of the Mandt Center as an ice rink since I grew up watching my brother play…read morehockey here, but I've also been here several times when it's served other functions such as displaying 4H projects during the Stoughton Fair and hosting a fundraiser with a band, magician, and raffle. In addition to the main attraction of the rink/exhibition space, Mandt offers a concession stand, a small lobby, a couple private rooms, ample restrooms, and plenty of parking for the average event. On the weekends you can attend open skate October to March; $4 for adults and $3 for kids.
