The man (I think he was the owner) was friendly and kind - watched him talking to the lady in front of us, and he was super patient and friendly with her. Gave a great first impression. I had the 2 chicken thighs and the beans. The portions were just right- not crazy big, but enough that I ended up saving one thigh for later. The chicken was skin-on, and moist, smokey and really tasty. The beans were awesome! He uses pineapples and red peppers in the sauce and they were really good - not too sweet, not too spicy, but flavorful as heck. Hubby had the pulled pork sandwich and the coleslaw - said both were good too. Food was reasonably priced (all food plus two cans of soda came out to $22) for real, delicious food. If I lived in Cody, this truck would be a regular stop.

The ribs were fantastic.... smoky, juicy and tender. We ordered the 2 meat plate and it came with 3 ribs and a heaping of pulled pork (second choice as the brisket was sold out). The pulled pork was solid, though wished it was moister. It was great with the bbq sauce, though I always like to taste a pulled pork by itself. Got a side of beans and those were darn good! I love pinto beans and they still had their shape/texture and good bite. Something addicting about good baked beans with ribs. This is a great place! Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing, but the brisket was thinly sliced (good) but was bordering on dry and chewy (not so good). The service was very good -- there when you needed them, but not so much as to interfere with conversations. Go for breakfast or burgers, but be selective about the daily specials and you'll understand why small town diners can be go-to places for travelers.
