Thank you Dan!! I want to appreciate you so much for being our Ohana!! Best location by the Diamond Head, walk to the beautiful beach and Kapiolani park. Quiet and great neighborhood in this area!

Let me begin by saying that Dan Gomez, the resident manager here, is THE MAN! His predecessor was…read moreless than stellar and I always found him outside the office mean-mugging instead of doing anything productive. Our journey as Diamondhead Sands residents began four years ago and we just moved out to build a house of our own, as we were sick of paying into the endless black abyss that is tenant rent. You will see from the pictures attached that this was a beautiful space for us to call home. We were lucky enough to have a Diamondhead view from the kitchen, a plumeria tree and Kapi'olani Park view from our bedroom, and a peek-a-boo ocean view from our lanai! The neighborhood is fully walkable with restaurants such as Bogart's, Da Cove Health Bar, Pioneer Saloon and Diamondhead Market and Grill to boast! Insider's tip...Diamondhead Market has the cheapest price in town for our favorite beer (Maui Double Overhead) and a pretty extensive beer and wine selection overall. In addition to drinks and eats, there are at least three parks, two gardens and a plethora of beaches within twenty minutes on foot. Waikiki is also right there, if you are into that madness. I must also add the weekly Friday night fireworks, which we took advantage of as often as possible. They begin during winter at 7:45 and summer at 8:00 each Friday evening. All in all, Diamondhead Sands was a phenomenal place to live. While being close to so many things, it is extremely safe and quiet. I highly recommend!

He is also always there to answer our calls right away. Working together with him has been great . From the way he talks to the residence in helping them understand what we are there to do and being on another level with them .I can tell from the way the residence talk to him that they trust all his does for them. Sky Tower Apartments is lucky to have him. Keep up the good work.

Only idiots with self entitled attitudes would comment on racism because they think everyone is racist towards them and don't see the fact that they themselves are assholes. 2. The pool being disgusting is one of the many reasons why they went through a lot of resident managers because the others weren't pulling their weight. I challenge anyone to look at the pool now. It's absolutely stunning! 3. It's a 60+ year old building so the fact that Frank and the board are taking the time to address issues for repair to bring this old building into the 21st century is remarkable, But of course an owner would appreciate and understand this more than a renter because the value of their property is going up. 4. They have vestibules on each end of the corridors with trash bins that people dump in. Every morning the maintenance guy comes and empties it. That's the equivalent of having a trash chute. The doors closed ensure the smell doesn't go into the units. Overall Sky Tower is an amazing complex with a diverse community. Sure it's not a luxury condo, but it's a step above your average multi dwelling unit. Frank may have his faults but so does everyone else, we're not perfect, and he CARES about the building and the people in it. I wholeheartedly recommend the building to anyone who is interested in buying/renting and its amazing staff to back it up!

If you can get around the fact that yes there is many homeless in the area then you will enjoy this apartment. It's got a great location, many restaurants and bars to walk to. There are tons of cafes and coffee options as well. You can walk to 24 hour fitness. We enjoyed the christmas lights and just walked there from our apartment. Security is very good and parking attendants are vigilant 24 hours a day. We worked with leasing office person named Brian. He's really nice and easy to work with. It was a very smooth move in process. The only challenge we've faced so far is with parking. It wouldn't be a problem if it was just my wife and I, but we have 2 little ones and the parking can get quite tight for getting them in and out of their car seats. If you have small kids then maybe this might be a deal breaker for you. We are patient and off load the kids before parking the car.

DO NOT RENT HERE! Once you move in, they don't care about you AT ALL! I've had SO MANY issues, and…read more0 was resolved. 1. Clogging issues all the time! Your kitchen sink, shower tub, toilet will NEVER be clean, you know why? cause sewage from other apartments will come out from your sink and tub. Wanna see other people's food scrapes, dirt, hair balls, or even kids toys in your sink? Wanna experience the feeling when you come home and thought somebody had broken into your home when you see a random toy in your tub? Come live here! 2. Strict rules. Ok, I understand, but no plants on the balcony?? If I can't put plants on the balcony, what can? I even took a photo of their "periodic inspection" notice because of how ridiculous this is. 3. Speaking about "periodic inspection", they will randomly go to your apartment for no reason! their reason is "periodic inspection". figure it out yourself what that means. 4. Parking spot is SO small that you can NOT get out of the car. I'm only 120 lbs adult woman driving a 2 door sedan, and if I can't get out, I believe most people can't. Asked the office if I can get another parking spot, all I got was sarcasm like idk how to park. Asked if I can park anywhere temporarily? Nope, they will toll your car. Park on the street? Nope, you have to move it after certain hours, so figure it out yourself, maybe lose weight first and then park. 5. The renovation materials are so cheaply made. The curtain blinds are so flimsy that it would just fall off by itself. Called the office to fix it, and guess what? YOU are responsible to pay for it. 6. I personally went into their office and told the employees that I will be moving out on XXX day. The front desk also said she will tell the people in charge. This was way before their 28 day notice policy. Got a phone call 8 days before the move out day and told me I didn't notify them. They didn't care what I said and covered their mistake and charged me another 28 days of rent. So basically I have to pay extra rent for the mistakes THEY made, and they don't care. The list goes on and on, but if you want to deal with a company like this, live here and hate on your own decision!
