What stands out most is how consistently they go above and beyond. I was working late this week preparing for a board meeting and had my little one with me. A Kiln staff member, Karina, asked if she could grab her a snack. I was so focused I almost missed the gesture--but moments later she returned with a full plate of apples, peanut butter, cashews, and dried mango. My daughter was thrilled. It was such a small, thoughtful act, and it genuinely caught me off guard in the best way. It's moments like this that make Kiln feel human. It's a community of people who really care, not just an office space. As we prepare for an incoming intern who uses a wheelchair, Chad, Kiln's director, has been proactive and thoughtful in helping us plan for the right ADA accommodations. You have to get a year, despite their misleading website (see screenshot). I need to work remotely for the next month, and my options are pretty bad. I have two kids at home, libraries open at 10 AM, coffee shops suck, and this place isn't as-advertised. Edit: After calling the corp office, apparently you CAN do a 5 or 10 day pass.
