We ordered a borek with cheese pastry. It was warmed up upon ordering. Flavor was good, could have used more filling. Both the black Forrest cake and the tiramisu were delicious. Both were flavorful but also light and not too sweet. Same goes for the passion fruit iced tea, not overly sweet. Only thing keeping me from 5 stars is the price. It's expensive. Most items cake wise are at least $10 a slice.

The staff member who was already checking somebody out was answering a question, noticed I came in, and took that split second to greet me. Very much appreciated. 2. The menu They had an item called chai latte, not chai tea latte. As a South Asian (and I'm sure my South Asian friends are going to appreciate this), chai tea latte is a laughable thing because when you translate it literally, it is called tea latte. There is no such thing as tea latte; it's just tea. We're being nice to allow it to be called tea latte or chai latte. These folks here got it right and call it just chai latte, which I really appreciate I had the pistachio latte, which was epic and delicious. I requested them to use half the amount of pistachio flavoring to cut down on the sweetness, which was perfect because it had that subtle pistachio flavor and the robust flavor of the coffee. It had a really velvety texture. Wife had the ginger tea, which, when it came, we were very skeptical about paying almost $5 for it, but it was totally worth it. It was not ordinary ginger tea. I had a sip or two of it and it was good. We ordered one of their chocolate breads, not the chocolate croissant, but another bread-like item with some chocolate. The chocolate itself was delicious. I don't know how this item is supposed to be in its place of origin. I cannot say that it was not made right, but for my taste buds I felt there could be more chocolate and less bread. The only thing that was a little bit of a downer was the biscotti. It was a little soft and you could tell some of the nuts felt like they were getting stale, though I am not sure. Overall, I absolutely loved this place. It started getting crowded, yet nobody was left behind when it came to the service. Everybody was being taken care of. Sadly, we're leaving Schaumburg tomorrow, but this place is always going to be on my mind whenever we visit the Sourips.

Service was pleasant and friendly with a good selection of ice cream flavors. I ordered a scoop of key lime pie and strawberry cheesecake in a cup. If I didn't know any better I would swear that this ice cream was great, but I live by an awesome ice cream shop that sets the bar pretty high. Bruster's ice cream is okay. I was picking up plenty of artificial tasting flavors with the strawberry and the lime. This would definitely not be my first or second choice to get ice cream.

It is walk up only ordering but they do have some seating outside. They have lots of unique flavors like sitafal and falooda which are Indian based but they also have classic flavors like mint chocolate chip. I do wish some of their cones were Eggless as well but they are not so I just got ice cream in cups for us. Overall, really enjoyed the ice cream and it was a fun way to get together with friends on a summer evening.

Quite nostalgic!! We got the Oreo bingsoo, and they were incredibly generous with the Oreo pieces. The sweetest was definitely a nice complement to the ice, which didn't have flavor. Our big group's order was ready super quick, which is a nice bonus!

You are welcomed to sample any of the flavors and cost is determined by weight of ice cream. Unlike other places, toppings can be added for free after you pay for your ice cream. They had a variety of sauces, candies, sprinkles, and even offered complimentary coffee. I sampled a variety of flavors and really enjoyed the Twix Bar, Marsh-Mallow Smores, Salted Caramel Blondie but ultimately chose the Boston Cream Pie. My only drawback was staff could have been happier, the floors were a bit dirty, and toppings counter was a bit disheveled. They also promote most ice cream flavors as "Howling Ice Cream" but some containers were clearly marked as Haggen-Dazs. Either way, I enjoyed my ice cream and would revisit! Tip: They did have (3) non-dairy ice cream flavors on top of many sorbet flavors.

Overall the shop was very clean and had one employee working from what we saw. 1. No sample cups were offered noted by a sign that stated this was for cleaning/sanitary purposes. This was a bit of a bummer as froyo can be expensive and being a customer, I'd like to ensure I like what I select. 2. The froyo dispensers did not offer a "twist" option like many others in the area do. The option is always nice to creat fun unique flavors. 3. Flavors offered were rather straight forward. Specialty offerings included 1-2 vegan options and 2-3 gluten free options noted which is nice to know for reference. 4. A lot of the candy style toppings were large/full sized items rather then broken up. This causes customers to skip all together or severely drive the price up. Would have loved to see more "pieced" toppings. Overall, this froyo spot is great if you don't want to be overwhelmed with options and don't want to wait in lines.
