But once we arrived at the "key pad", choosing our option, paying, and proceeding to the wash bay entrance was easy peasy. There's also a guy there leading you in and pretty straightforward signals at the end to leave and a vacuum cleaning bay at the side of the building. In between was a very good wash and more than enough time to show one's spouse (in the passenger seat) some "appreciation". :)

They must have used the same rags they used on my exterior. The badly scratched my leather dash. I never called and complained, they usually have done a good job in the past. The guy that was checking me in said, he did not want to do my interior, and no they coul not,nor would they use the cloth that I have for my interior only. He then just walked away and said, I cannot help you. I know you may think that I was rude to him, but I am really a very nice person. Do not need this kind of rudeness in my life.

I was mostly happy with the Durango, except there were still some bug remnants on the grille. The Silverado turned out STUNNING on the outside - the scratches were totally gone and the paint looked brand new. The big problem was he hadn't touched the interior. The inside really needed it too. This was a birthday present for my Mom, and I gave her a half clean truck. The bed also still had pine needles and debris in it. When I asked Doug about this, he told me paint correction is $300 and does not include the interior. I was never told this fee was for exterior paint only. Miscommunication. He did offer to return the following week to clean the inside, which I told him was a gracious move and that most people don't care about doing the right thing but by offering this, he clearly cares about his company and leaving the client happy. He never returned and ghosted us after my last communication to him telling him he actually cares about his clients. I guess I was wrong. The bottom line is, he obviously knows what he is doing with paint repair. We are thrilled with that aspect, but $360 later and no explanation, I feel a bit robbed.

Asking why I was shaking the door the sign on the door says 10 PM closed. It was 9:30 PM and he was curious on why we were having a conversation. At 930, when it says close at 10, he says he leaves it 10, but the sign on the door says closes. At 10 website, says closing soon in a 1/2 an hour. Yet can't get any service would not recommend this place. Either they got to change the sign to whenever they lock the front door why the advertisers open till 10 PM? And it's close at 930 makes no sense to the customer.

This gas guzzler really drinks the gas, but I suppose driving over 80 mph almost all the way didn't help, hey the speed limit was 80mph out there for a lot of the way. We're staying at the hotel next door, so this is a good place to fuel up and maybe get some snacks for the room to have before dinner. They're lots of pumps here and they all are modern and take credit cards no prob. Gas today was $4.55 a gal for regular, not too bad compared to prices in California! Tanked up, this should get us back to Sacramento no prob. Some reviews complained about slow pumps, this wasn't the case for me. Just set it and let it fill. I could clean the windshield that way as he rest of the crew went inside to raid all the snacks and drinks. As for using the restrooms, I think it might be better just to wait till we get to the hotel next door.

When we finally were able to get gas we learned why-these pumps were uber slow filling up our tank. Hubby actually did end up going in to grab a snack. I stayed behind in case the tank filled before hubby was back. It was a tie/ hubby and the tank. But he did get a yummy brekie sandwich when he was inside. Based on other posts/ we will need to check out the coffee next time. Can't tell you the last time we bought coffee at a station- but I'm gonna trust the yelp family. Growing up, my Father and Grandfather owned and operated an APCO station in Estherville, Iowa, hence my tendency to review every gas station I come across. Gasoline is a commodity, so things like price, clean restrooms (as applicable), and convenience are my key interests in what is usually an unremarkable customer experience. Hence, a 3 Star "A-OK" rating is the most common. That's what this Pacific Gasoline Station received then and right now. I have filled up several times since the review, and what I wrote remains true today. So yesterday, I'm attending a Genoa Western Heritage Day event, look at my phone, and see that a comment had been added to my review. I've pasted it in below, and I'll have to say that it's rare to be personally attacked that way for a middle-of-the-road "A-OK" review. Looking at similar (and lower) Yelp reviews, it appears that I'm not the only one in this "owner's" crosshairs, who might not take such realistic comments well. Since this is a self-serve station and he/she isn't normally around to police customer experiences, I'll be sending knowing smiles and optimism his/her way every time I fill up. SMH. "Our business does not cater to the entitlement that you clearly displayed here in your review. Being a customer does not give you a right to patronize businesses because your ego has less than accommodating expectations.
