Katie is AMAZING - she helped me go through my clothes and accessories and patiently worked with me to go through one by one and release things I had been holding onto for years, without judgement. She also helped me figure out the best way to arrange my drawers and rearrange furniture so it would work best for mine and my husbands needs. My fiancee and I recently moved from a 2 bedroom apartment in Queens to a 3 bedroom house upstate. Naturally all of the stuff we weren't too sure what to do with wound up in the basement. I can't thank Katie McCann enough for her work. When my wife and I had to set up a nursery for our first child, we planned to convert our spare bedroom into the nursery. Unfortunately over the years the spare bedroom turned into "the room where you put stuff that doesn't belong in the other rooms." I didn't even know where to begin. I don't know whether to say that I found Katie, or that Katie found me, but bottom line is, she saved my life! After a last minute large-scale office move, I remember coming into my office on a Saturday only to find dumpster-size crates full of stuff, and no idea how to organize it. I must have felt confident that I could put everything away myself, because I marched over to the Container Store across the street, thinking I could just grab some bins and labels...and soon discovered I was in WAY over my head. I was fortunate enough to find a sales associate who introduced me to Container Store's home organizing service, "Contained Home". Katie was the lead organizer on my project and she promptly reached out to me to schedule an in-person survey of my office space. After surveying, she put together a plan, which included purchasing of crucial supplies and even revamping of closet space. Once the spaces were optimized structurally, Katie and her team efficiently spent hours conquering each space and making it beautiful.
