Because she wanted to meet w me to discuss color BEFORE we did anything. See, I'm naturally a very dark brown and wanted to be lifted to platinum. Lilah is hands down AMAZING and I do not trust anyone, EXECPT her, w my color! She is a perfectionist and takes complete pride in her work. Wait a while, then decide to go outside and make a phone call to the salon owner and left a message that I had an appointment and that no one was at the salon.. Again waited 20 minutes and finally decided to leave. 9 hours later and still no phone call with an explanation. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. It pains me to write this review because Lutra was really nice and her salon is beautiful…read more I went with chest length hair and left with a mushroom. I was asked how short I wanted to go and I said 2-3 inches. Now the longest part BARELY touches my neck. Flyaway long hair pieces on both sides of the face that I have to cut myself to even them out. When I try to put hair up one side falls down, which means the layers are uneven, one side shorter than the other. Where my bangs end, the first layer ends too, making the mushroom effect. After I wash the hair it will be even worse! The website is stunning and maybe they specialize in keratin and color, but this haircut has left me in tears. I have a wedding in 3 weeks to attend and thinking of not going because of this. Beware if you plan on going for a life changing haircut, it will be just that!

Midway through my hair appointment I was told the owner was going to be charging me $100 an hour... never have I ever been told a hair salon charges by the hour, unheard of, which I voiced at that point with toner in my hair. I was there from the 1100 to 1800. My hair at 6pm was still not cut nor blow dried. The color and style that I showed them as to what I wanted was not met. I paid and left without my hair being finished. The girl dying my hair said well if you go home and see you don't like the color after it's blow dried you can come back in to get it fixed.... will not be returning for any unwelcome surprises.
