It was great, here they have acres of land to camp around and explore, it's very well maintained and the staff working around the camp site are very helpful and friendly. There are some great facilities here, and in the village, too like swimming pool and restaurants. We had a great time!

We took the children with us and had a good look at all the tents they had up outside on display which they thought was great fun. It's so helpful seeing them up to give you an idea of size and whether the layout is really going to work for you. Inside the store stocks a vast range of equipment. We enjoyed looking round but being newbies didn't know much about what we would need and thankfully the knowledgeable and friendly staff were able to help out. Also for sale were Berghaus jackets, bbqs and other such items not specifically linked to camping. The prices were not extortionate either. A fantastic shop but be warned, if you visit this shop you may get the camping bug if you haven't already got it!

The evening entertainment is excellent too but you always have to arrive early to get a seat otherwise your left standing. They have both and indoor and outdoor swimming pool, arcade, crazy golf and park for kids to play in. It's really cheap holidays too for what you get there. It also rents out wooden lodges. It is an extremely well managed tidy site. It is over priced but you get what you pay for. Prices are very high compared to practically every site on its level and better. The site is ok to use as a base for mooching around Norwich Great Yarmouth but apart from that it is pointless visiting the broads if your intention is not to base it around boats as there is nothing else to do. We always do plenty of research and review our sites before we book and this site comes up top trumps. The site has excellent facilities including a pub and cafe but not the commercial type of place that offers entertainment so if you are looking for the haven holiday type of thing then this is no good for you. The pitch sizes are very good and the full site has been well designed. It ticks the right box for campers as the shower and toilet blocks are modern and clean thou they are not really enough of them for the amount of guests but apart from this the site is defiantly 5-star and absolutely faultless except for the little problem we had; a big part of the site is set in woodland and we had an earwig infestation to a point where there was about 100 of the things in our tent at any one time. This absolutely spoilt it for us as after three nights we had hardly any sleep as we were constantly scratching all night. We named this earwigsby hall. We wouldn't go again because if we did the broads again it would be on a boat but if its camping you want in this area then this is a top site.

It's a great place, we stayed in the 1st floor of the little apartments, mystique I think it's called. It's good enough to sleep in and make basic meals, but then you don't come here to sit in allot or make a roast dinner for 6. Evening entertainment kept my three year old more then happy, dancing with the other children and meeting the characters here. Loads of game machines and amusements to play on and collect your tickets for a prize. Beside the bar a good sized park for kids with a pay as you play race track for the little ones. A small soft play near to reception also with an indoor swimming pool. Spar shop is 5 minutes drive one way, 5 minutes the their way and you are at the beach. Worth a go, we have enjoyed ourselves.

As it was late in the season alot of the entertainment, shops were shut so we just used it as a base and travelled into Great Yarmouth most days but the park was clean and tidy and well kept.

While told that the campsite was full and we got the last 2 pitches, they did their best to get us next to each other which they did. Excellent customer service over the phone while booking. Campsite itself was clean, shower block one of the better ones I've seen. Site cleaned and the grass mown every day. Easy reach of the main beaches, with Hemsby beach a 5 minute walk lovely sandy beach with lifeguards always on duty. Had access to the on-site club house but didn't use so can't comment on the standard of entertainment provided, however our entertainment was provided by fellow campers arguing! Despite the neighbours we had a pleasant stay here, and would stay here again.

Staff are very friendly, it's on a main road- so sometimes you can hear the cars outside. Beds are comfortable, hairdryer, tea and coffee, tv, towels and soap provided. Would definately stay again.
