Arrived late in Yarmouth and stayed here out of desperation. What a mistake. The owner had just got back from the USA, overslept when he should have been cooking breakfast, the showers were a joke but then again most of his business comes from contractors who just want a bed for a night. UPDATED.....Helm house truly is a great place to stay and really does offer a great atmosphere. The room was really nice and extremely comfortable. I was amazed when we were shown to our family room because of the layout. The double bed is in one part of the room with its own facilities and the single bed was through another door within the room providing my daughter and both myself and my partner the privacy we all need. The location was perfect for us, everything was within walking distance. The beach, the main shopping center, regent road and much more. We loved it that much that we stayed in the summer of 2013, we stayed over the Christmas holidays and we have already booked to stay this summer of 2014. The new management have done wonders with the place and really are friendly down to earth people. I would and have defiantly recommended this guest house. read more
