Welding was needed where steering box mounts to…read moresubframe 4x4 in area. was told a custom plate would be welded and crack that wrapped to inside of subframe would be welded also. I was quoted 600$ for 4 hours. Next day I came in to check it out and seen the inside crack being ignored, basically a plate just covered the damage instead of being fixed then reinforced. Vic then told me they will make sure full crack is welded and not to worry. I then wait for a call and received news so bad I had to call police. I arrived to shop where I was told I am to pay 2000$. I was completely shocked as no written agreement was signed only to go by his word. Police arrived as Vic has no communication skills, laughed in my face, kicked me out of shop. I then wait for 4 police cars to arrive. The police were able to talk to him and he told me either pay or he will cut off all his work. I said ok cut it off let me have my truck and we split ways. He then backed off his word and demanded I pay the original 600$. I then told him ok whatever. I wanted him to cut it off to show I don't respect them at all so they can use that as a ornament in his office. Let me tell you seeing him changing the work order price from 2000$ to original 600$ was so satisfying as he believed he could get over on me. Lastly I spoke with my school UNIVERSAL TECHNICAL INSTITUTE and they told me they were not appreciative of that and they were going to take the matter seriously as he has contracts to build trainers for the school. Learning lesson is do not trust no one. Get written receipts for all things and don't trust them. Last thing to mention is I went to high school with his son, me and Vic are both prior military and we are both latinos. If you treat your own people like this how do you treat your other customers.

I met with the owner and explained what I needed and after looking at the damage he had me pull into his shop. He asked me to test fit it and on the second try they nailed it. He even spray painted it after. To take the time with a walk in customer, then also redo it again was unheard of in today's world. He simply did not show up. 10 weeks after the deposit I have given up on him. LONG VERSION Mr. Navarro (aka AZ Outlaw Weldin and Fencin LLC) contacted me through Yelp when I was looking for quotes for gates. Everything I'm writing here is from our text messages - except notes I made during voice calls or face-to-face meetings. August 4 he gave us a quote of $3200 "that includes material, labor, installation, and powder coat". August 22 we gave him $1000 via Zelle when he visited our home to finalize color choice for the composite slats. At that time he said it would take 3 weeks to finish the project. September 23 I texted him, but he didn't respond. September 24 I called him; he said there was delay with the powder coating, but he would be ready on Oct 6th. October 4th I texted him to confirm; he replied there was a delay getting the composite and he expected to get it by Oct 13th. October 10th my wife texted him to confirm he received the composite. He called her to explain we needed to choose new colors. October 12th he visited us again to show the color samples and we picked one. He said the gates would be ready by the following Sunday, October 19th. He didn't show, or call to cancel. October 20th I texted him to cancel the project and asked him to refund me the $1000 - he has not responded. I don't expect Mr. Navarro to respond or to give me a refund. I just want to share my experience as a warning to others.
